Just recently purchased my 2025 Ford Ranger XLT from Dick Smith Ford of Columbia, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with both the truck and the experience. Like I mentioned in my previous review before I officially bought the truck, the entire truck-shopping process was already enjoyable instead of stressful, and that continued all the way through delivery day. The whole team at Dick Smith Ford was welcoming, professional, and made everything feel easy from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with was helpful, patient, and genuinely wanted to make sure I was comfortable and confident every step of the way. Our sales guy, Julian, truly made the process smooth and enjoyable. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. He took the time to answer my questions, walk me through everything, and made what can normally feel overwhelming actually feel exciting. You can tell he enjoys helping people find the right vehicle, and that makes a huge difference. Driving away in my New truck was such an exciting moment, and I’m incredibly grateful for how seamless the entire experience was. Mr Mark Hayward is one of the kindest, friendly and knowledgeable salesperson I’ve ever met. My husband and I had our eyes on the vehicle all week via the internet. I finally decided to go check it out for myself. The pictures didn’t give the vehicle justice. Mark was so helpful and patient when answering my questions, and I had a lot! LOL. I recommend Dick Smith Ford. Customer service from all contacts, specifically Tyler was excellent today. Although not a customer yet, I stopped to charge my EV. Encountered problems with the Shell App which gave me an hour’s delay (lock out) The App was the only method available. Tyler was empathetic to my situation and kindly saved the day. He was able to get me charging and safely back on my way. I’ve had Ford’s in my life for most of it. I have memories of my Dad selling Fords, always having one or two Ford trucks. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Alfonzo “AB”. From the second we met him, he was so warm, light-hearted, and genuinely funny that it instantly put us at ease. I had the privilege of working with Mark Hayward at Dick Smith Ford in Columbia, SC when my Ford Escape gave out on me and I had to begin to find a replacement car. Mark Hayward has been extremely attentive throughout this process and understanding. When I brought my Escape to trade in, I was not eagerly looking for a new car and Mark never pressured me into speeding up the process. I was able to take my time and look into all of the available options and wait for something to come along that I was truly interested in (took me almost a month). The help I received at dick Smith Ford of Columbia by Ford service manager Jeremy winters was beyond satisfactory and excellent. I was having trouble charging my electrical car and he helped me with my issues quick, nicely, and efficiently. If it wasn't for him I dont know what id do I 100% recommend this dealership to anyone

Great dealership. Ralph Poe was our salesman again this year and we can say he made both purchases of our new vehicles a breeze. No pressure and he treated us like family. Service department is also outstanding. Took my truck in for service and was back out on the road in no time.

Mark Hayward and the team at Dick Smith have been the best I’ve ever dealt with, and I have had a LOT of vehicle purchases over the years. Not only did they give me an unbeatable price on my new car, they also gave me the best price on my old car as well. Mark is great at communicating through the purchase process and being there to help. Even if he doesn’t know all the answers, he does the work to get the answers you need, and that says a lot about a salesperson at a car dealership. My car has a few little things that need to be worked on, and Giovanni and the service crew have been diligent in setting up the services and parts to get everything in tip-top shape for me with smiles on their faces throughout the whole experience. Usually if you tell someone in a service department that you have a problem, they either scoff or look displeased at your problems, but not at Dick Smith. I highly recommend going to this dealership if you’re looking for a new or used car!

We had a great experience with Dick Smith Ford. We were able to call, talk to John, and negotiated everything over the phone. Jeff was great with our trade in and loan. He went over all of our options and was able to meet the rate of our credit union! Since we lived two hours away, we wanted to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction before driving all of the way to the dealership. Once I arrived, everyone was so nice and professional. What stood out most was how he genuinely cared about making sure I was happy and comfortable with my decision, not just trying to make a sale. He took the time to answer all my questions, went over every detail, and made sure I left confident in my purchase. I really appreciated how personable and professional he was. Oh and I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant (hence the need for a bigger car) and the entire experience was easy for me all thanks to John! I also want to give a shoutout to Jeff Robinson in finance. He was incredibly helpful and patient while explaining everything in detail, making sure I understood all the numbers and options before signing. He made the financing part feel straightforward and stress-free, which made such a difference. Overall, this was one of the best dealership experiences I’ve had. Ross was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I was very comfortable during the entire process of purchasing my new Ford Explorer ST. He was honest, had great communication, answered all of our questions, not pushy, and he made sure we were happy before we left the lot. He got us exactly where we wanted to be in exactly what we wanted to be in. We couldn't have asked for anyone better when making a huge decision like this. He made our experience a 10/10!

My salesman was Doug Truett and he was great! He is very easy to relate to and was up front and honest. I despise buying a new vehicle because I hate the back and forth but only dealt with him, no bringing in the sales manager to negotiate. I would definitely buy another vehicle from him!
