Unfortunately, I found this shop because of an accident—but I’m genuinely glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff and the insurance adjuster were professional, kind, and welcoming. The space was clean and organized and felt more like a trusted office than a typical body shop, which immediately gave me confidence. I’ve only been here once so far, but the experience has been smooth and reassuring.

This was the 3rd time I have used Auto Pro and they never disappoint! Someone side swiped my leased car in a parking lot while I was shopping. It was pretty bad and it had to be fixed before I turned it in. Without going through my insurance Darren gave me a great price, and my car was ready in 5 days. Their customer services is always great and my car came back to me looking like it was just off the showroom floor.

Autopro Collision is a 5 star all around. All of the staff did a great job and Jim and Evelyn are the best. Anyone giving less than 5 is just someone who just loves to giving a negative review for just because. This is definitely a 5 star and nothing less.

DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND STRICTLY LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, BECAUSE IT'S TRUE. I took the car 3 times for a tire sensor that they failed to replace the first time. A sensor costs $7 and a it requires 1/2 hour shop time, but of course customer inconvenience is not what comes to the shop's mind. It's the bill that the insurance is going to pay after charging insurance 6k+ for a minor repair.

My experience from start to finish was outstanding. Ms. Evelyn provided exemplary customer service, and the repair work was superb—my vehicle felt as though it had just rolled off the showroom floor.

If I could, I'd give them 10 stars! Evelyn was patient and extremely helpful during "a difficult time" for me. They accepted my car last Friday when it was scheduled for Monday. Evelyn kept me informed about what was going on. I just picked up my car in 1 week, and it looks like new. Thank you to all the Auto Pro team.

It was my first time using Auto Pro Collision for my Tesla. The whole experience was a genuine pleasure. The receptionist, Evelyn, was incredibly courteous, informative and patient with my many questions about the whole process. The actual service for my two claims were resolved in two weeks—far quicker than I had anticipated. I was kept informed throughout the two weeks about the status of estimates, repairs, and estimated pickup. Although I hope to not have to need repairs anytime soon, I will absolutely be contacting Auto Pro Collision first if the need arises!

I must say... these guys are super honest! Highly recommend them. My car was taken there while my insurance took forever to total it out. Even though they didn't get the opportunity to fix my car, they protected my belongings, kept me informed, and took AMAZING care of me. If I ever need a Tesla Approved shop in the future, im taking my car to Auto Pro. Totally worth the peace of mind.

After dropping my car off, the shop found additional repairs that were going to be needed. The shop relayed this info to me with an updated timeframe for when repairs would be completed. With that being said, my car was still fully repaired and back to me quicker then expected. From beginning to end, Auto Pro made me feel like part of the family while making my car look brand new! Thank you!!!

If you have Tesla car be aware , if you Turo customer be aware !! While I understand that may be the only certified auto body shop in Staten Island by Tesla, quality of work performed is unacceptable. I stopped the shop on February 7th to request an estimate for my tesla. During this time, I spoke with Jimmy Barakat , shop menager and gave him all the necessary paperwork from Turo to complete estimate. Jimmy assured me that no other documentation is needed from me and that he will take from there. In the meantime, I did check few other body shops , estimate I was given ranged from $1 to $3.5K. However, I still waited for Jimmy to get back to me as the estimate was coming from Tesla certified body shop. On march 4th, Jimmy called to inform me that he cannot perform estimate without seeing the vehicle . I drove my Tesla and left the car for an estimate as instructed. Finally on March 8th, Jimmy called requesting paperwork from Turo . I drove to the body shop and asked what happened and why this is needed. Jimmy explained that he needed the paperwork from me so he can start claim. During this time, he verbally informed me that repairs will cost $7000K or more. I decided to take check with other certified body shops in New Jersey but he notified me that car is finished !!!! It should be noted that the I only requested an estimate and did not provide permission for the body shop to start the work. I was told the car has been fixed and he needs additional documentation from me to release the car. Since I stopped by the shop on Feb 7th, I still don't have access to my car. As I utilize Turo, you can calculate how much I've lost thus far. Today March 14th I visited the shop again, spoke with Jimmy and I looked at "finished" product. There were noticable scratches on finished surfaces. However, Jimmy explained that it will be taken care prior to release back to me. I asked why the cost was more than $7K if others can fix for fraction but he assured me it is due to the shop being Tesla certificated. He also pointed out that Tesla cars are of very poor quality and he will not fix the misalignment of trunk resulting from the accident. In the middle of the conversation, Jimmy decided to scream at me that he cannot do anything to the trunk even I offer to pay. To this day I have seen a complete estimate of charges. Jimmy continued saying that Tesla is more expensive to fix due to certification fees. In should be noted that no new parts were used in the fix. In conclusion, my experience with Auto Pro Collision was marked by unexpected charges, a lack of transparency, and questionable business practices. The combination of these factors left me with a feeling of mistrust and discomfort, prompting me to reconsider doing business with Auto Pro Collision in the future. Additionally, I plan on filing a complaint with both Tesla and BBB. If a business is willing to engage in such questionable practices during the estimation process, it raises concerns about their overall ethical standards and customer relations. In the future, I spend extra time driving to another shop potentially out of state rather than bringing my business to Jimmy.

Last month I went to fix my Tesla y after I ran over a deer. Jimmy was very nice and kept up his words on the delivery dates. I was so concerned since it was a month old new car. He made it sure to fix it as it was looking earlier. Very nice and I am happy. I would definitely recommend this body shop. Thanks again.

I had a wonderful experience with Auto Pro Collision. They were very responsive, helped us with the insurance claim, and kept us informed every step of the way. The repair was finished much quicker than the estimated timeline which I very much appreciated. I wouldn’t trust any other body shop with my Tesla Model Y, it looks brand new again! Very happy with my experience and HIGHLY recommend them to every Tesla owner. Thank you Jim for taking great care of us!

When i crashed my car i took my car to this body shop car and i gave my car at 8/3/2022 the person said i will get my car back at 8/13/2022 but for some reason they kept saying delays for 2 week and i got my car late 15 days.He fixed my bumper but it wasnt the original color the body and the bumper color was diffrent.Also the drivers door top right coner both door have been over polished and the color is diffrent you could see in the picture the rear door next to the tire also was over polished the car handle door is also over polished.I was very disapointed with the work they did and customer service was horrible because when i showed them my car they kept saying its fixed its fixed they just ignored the over polished spot and even the bumper i am very disapointed.

These guys are great, very professional and clean work. Someone had hit into my rear passenger door, they ordered a new door, replaced and painted it. My car looks new again!

UPDATE: since this review, they have reached out to me and have corrected both the door alignment and buffed out the paint to a proper shine. The service manager was courteous and apologetic that it went out the door the way it did. This is for a repair done in early 2020. I brought in an Audi A8 with damage to the front passenger door, as the car is aluminum the door had to be replaced. The setup process for the repair was courteous and professional but kinda went downhill from there. They had my car for almost a month, longer than what the insurance is will to pay for a loaner so had to pay out of pocket for that. No one contacted me with any progress report. When I got the car back I heard wind noise from the replaced door, one of their reps took a ride with me and claimed he didn’t hear anything. It was a rainy day when I pick up the car so I couldn’t see the paint job very well, few days later on a sunny day I noticed where they painted was duller than the rest of the car, had swirl marks and micro scratches. I also later noticed the rubber gaskets squeaking when I used the soft close function of the door. Turns out the squeaky gasket and the wind noise are because the door is not properly aligned (pictured). It looks like corners were cut and no quality control. Due to getting the car back right before the start of the pandemic and lockdown I never went back to have these issues addressed and I’m not sure I’d trust them at this point to address them correctly. They charged GEICO around $6000 for the job. Now I need to find a new body shop to correct their mistakes. I would not recommend.

I brought my Mazda3 in for some minor repairs on the front bumper (lost a battle with a pole at 3MPH). I had some scratches and yellow paint on the front bumper and headlight, and the bumper had popped out of the clip. They took care of it right away, and I can barely tell the difference. Couldn't have asked for better quality service or nicer people. I'd recommend them for any and all auto body work.
