The Owner's Son tried to Rob me by handing me a fake hundred dollar bill out of his very own wallet. Add on to that they under quoted me on my copper by about 50cent a pound. Not very honest business practices.
Fairly easy going experience. Got to the yard and one of the workers came with his car and a scale to weigh up what I had.
He even gave me a much higher price for making me wait.
I had no problem. He told me he'd be there in 20 and he got there in 25. No problem really but extra money is always good.
So he weighed up what I have and paid cash on the spot.
Can't beat that. Plus it was a Sunday. No one is open on Sunday's. That is a Luxery not the norm. I was extremely happy with Global Scrap.
Horrible horrible I literally sat outside with over 70 pounds of clean brass that I walked up there, and a sign posted saying be right back , it says call this number I called and called no answer ridiculously!!!! So I walked to one off of walker ave and excellent place it's ashame cause I live two blocks over from global.
Left a message, at door, I be back coffee break , I got there. AT 3.10 PM, 4.00 pm I left , maybe he went to Brazil for the coffee, and I call , and call,. People maybe make appointment will do.
Terrible experience. Such bad timing I had an appointment for 2:15 waiting over an hour now disgraceful. I have things to do talking about appointments. It’s a open business today with no workers inside what is that. We have to wait on when they feel like showing up no thank you.
