I have been buying batteries here for quite some time. My adult kids also are buying here as well. No need to buy new, as these batteries come with a 2 year replacement, no questions, just have the warranty card. I have only had 2 batteries ever go bad, but they were replaced right away.
HAD ONE CREDIT LEFT ON MY CARD TO GET A BATTERY. CARD SAYS GOOD TIL OCTOBER. HAD TO GET A JUMP TO GET TO TOWN TO USE MY CREDIT. GUY SAYS NO ITS EXPIRED. WE ONLY ALLOW 1/2 THE TIME ON CARD NOW. TYATS FINE BUT HONOR THE CARDS OUT THERE AND MAKE NEW CARDS. SAT THERE FOR HOURS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO. HE DIDNT GIVE A CRAP. WONT GO HERE AGAIN
How is this place not the number 1 option in ABQ? If you have a bad battery you can't beat the price and the included 2 year warranty. Free install, kind knowledgeable people. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. You gotta be kidding me. These places no longer exist!
Came to get a new battery as my current one was on its last legs, unfortunately I had an issue of corrosion so I had to go elsewhere but the gentlemen here we still able to give me a jump start so I could make it to the shop they recommended and that shop got me up and running within an hour. Thank you for your expertise and solid recommendations. Highly recommend this place for affordable batteries and no BS 👍🏼
everyone was friendly and helpful they got me my battery quick and even brought it to my car. the guy that helped me ask if i wanted them to install them ..appreciate that. the prices where really good for there own in house batteries and... they also have used batteries at good prices too...
over all great experience will definitely come back and will recommend it to people i know. a family member actually recommended to me and i will pay it forward from now on...
I was recommended by a co worker to go here if I ever needed a reasonable priced battery that would last and isnt a scam, this place checks out. On 12-10-25 I bought a size 26r battery for my car. I could
not make the quick swap in the parking lot do to there insurance rules so I had to make
the 2 mile drive home to do so. I discovered after getting
home that the battery dimensions were to large. (51r is the correct one I discovered later). I went
to return it with 20 mins of the purchase & the manager
would not even allow it. This complete lack of flexibility for
less then a half hour return I find it unacceptable. If this was a week
later even a day later return for full refund Id understand, but we're
talking less then 30mins here & I clear mistake. If this
business is that inflexible Ill have to suggest anyone proceed with extreme caution when buying. I was eventually able to determine the group size 51r was what I needed & swapped for that on 12-11-25. I'm not sure how much I'll promote them with the word of mouth advertising like I used to, if I do it will be with a warning.
Honestly I think this has to be one of the best battery warehouses in town it would have cost me almost $300 for my battery and it only cost me $68 here plus you get a 2 year warranty which the other place was only offering a 3 year warranty and their battery gave out after 3 years and 1 month.... coincidence? I would honestly not go anywhere else for my battery. These refurbish batteries are more or less better than a brand new battery at a fraction of the cost. Their workers know what they're doing they get the job done quickly and are very professional.
There great guys love this place bc of them I don't need a battery there so trustworthy any other place would of ripped me off, they cleaned my battery after that my air started working. Thank you I recommend these men
The guys are all great. Very knowledgeable. Super cheap for a good recon battery. I have one in my Durango going on 6 years, no lie. Won't ever buy new again with today's crazy prices on batteries.
Outstanding place to get a refurbished car battery! Friendly and proactive customer service, reasonable prices, and their batteries even come with a two year warranty. Highly recommended if you don’t want to drop $230+ for a brand new battery.
Very nice people very honest about the warranty. I had really very good experience dealing with them long time ago. I bought new battery from Dodge dealer and a last only year and a half and they gave me a hard time to try to replace it. Those people they will replace it without question if you still have warranty.
Just a heads up. Google has their closing time on Saturdays as 3pm, but when I went there at 2:50 on Saturday, I was told they actually close down the register at 2:45 on Saturdays. Why have 3pm listed as closing time? I would have been a 5 minute customer, plus I was going to pay them cash. How hard is it to take my battery cell in exchange for a recon battery, take my cash (probably exact change even), and write out a receipt. Clearly the owner doesn't work Saturdays. I can't imagine any owner turning cash away before the closing time. Those employees need to remember without customers they wouldn't have a job
it was awesome, I met a real Viking. the service was awesome too. they install the batteries right there on the spot and warranty them. I think they said for 2 years.
I have to say in the last year this place has gone downhill horribly. I used to buy only from them because they had great service and batteries in stock. Twice now I called and asked for what I needed and they said they had it. Takes me 10min to get there and when I get there they say they don't have any in stock then proceed to tell me they get them in all the time and to call to see if they have them. I used to recommend them but no longer, I will tell people to avoid them.
I've been here a few times and never been disappointed. Good decent spot to get a used but good car/vehicle battery. I think they also sell new batteries also . Nonetheless eveytime I needed, They provided. Good work, folks.
I was looking for a battery for my beater car, just to get it by long enough until I can find something else. They’re really nice people. And they helped me right away. Unfortunately they sold me a faulty battery, and when I tried jumping it, it completely fried my car. The battery was smoking and sparking. My car had other issues too but the battery just finished it off. If the batteries weren’t so faulty I’d recommend them :/
Battery hasn’t lasted as long as you’d think. Had to get a jump every day they were closed during the holiday week. Now that they’re open, I hauled butt from work to get there before 5 (after getting a jump) but they’d closed early and couldn’t/wouldn’t help. So I’d say definitely call first to see what time they’re actually closing.
Multiple people in my family buys batteries from here and have never had an issue, I bought a battery about a year ago and it had a 24 month warranty. Took the battery in and it still had the sticker on top and I still had the warranty card with me. “It’s not the right battery for your car” is what I was told, so makes sense right? Then proceeds to tell me they can’t warranty because an employee there sold me the wrong battery and gave me the wrong warranty card. Good people there, terrible warranty. If you’re in a pinch then it’s and OKAY option. but not somewhere im gonna go around sending people to. I’m definitely upset but it’s not even worth the time of day to waste arguing over a bad reman battery. Do not buy here if you intend on not replacing the battery with a brand new one.
Awesome customer service! I usually go to another battery place, but I just happen to see them on my way to another store. I went in cause I was told I needed a new battery. When I got there they checked my battery and said it was fine. I told them I was going out of town the next day and wanted to be safe. They cleaned my connections and didn't charge me anything! They could have told me I needed a new battery but they were honest! I will definitely send my friends and family here.
