Enjoyed a delicious meal at The Mohawk House that utilizes Pat LaFrieda's Purveyors meat. It was great quality. Please keep up the great work.

Really excited to place an order. Unfortunately the NY strip 850 was tough and not exceptional, same for the two thick t-bones we ordered. Total waste.

We had the porchetta for 4th of July…..AMAZING!!! Arrived on time. Instructions were easy to follow. The crispy skin was amazing and the pork itself was SO juicy!! This is a MUST try.

This place is a complete joke don’t not turn down 36th street you will not make it far or be able to turn around appt at 8am showed up 6:30 am brought me paper work back at 9:30 am told me I had to go to there other building got here lined up trucks parking on the street waiting to be unloaded and now 12pm and the truck in the door still has not moved noneless any of us waiting and no room to park on the street with out being in the way due to cars parked there

The staff is very nice, but it shouldn't be legal for those of us with 53ft traliers to dock here. This is the stuff of nightmares. I'm one of the lucky ones that is apart of a team so there is a second person looking out while we navigate through here. Just blindly driving under the bridge, reversing on the side road or anything can land you in a crash

Just bought their meat in grocery store. I have stomachache issues and this meat does not bother it so I know it is quality. The only time I had this experience when I am in Aruba. I appreciate their quality!!! Taste is great!!!!

I am a recurring customer and I think that customer service in the pick up area is very bad, that's why only one star. The Ecuadorian lady at the window does not do her job well, she leaves you waiting for a long time without telling you anything and when you ask her about your things she speaks very badly to you, she is not good for customer service so they should supervise her work.

Staff are all friendly. But man is this a pain to dock. Especially if a train is getting loaded, the street infront of the docks will be backed up with container trucks. Also a bit on the slow side to get you unloaded, but mot too bad.

The best beef out there BUT they changed their packaging to oversized cardboard and it sucks! I requested original packaging (Not cardboard) and the staff was unwilling to accommodate! The staff is also very rude! The cardboard packaging is twice the size of the original packaging and takes up too much room in the freezer! Bittersweet situation. I cancelled my order! It's their way or the highway! Beware!

Great quality meats. It’s sad that you have a Horrible Transportation team, horrible customer service team. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves . Pat la Freida needs to fire these guys, you’ve done better. You have a rude unprofessional transport team. The people that answer the phone in office are not trained well nor have the skill to understand people’s business’s. Your delivery drivers are rude and lazy.

Beware of ribeye sandwich at US Open for $25 it is 50% fat and 25% grissle. Mostly uneatable and arguably the worst disgusting sandwich I have ever had.

Gave 5 stars coz of service alone...fella came out and helped spot me, stop traffic ect. Fast unloading full trailer BUT very bad place for 53s, hadta pull out and block 4 lanes traffic both ways 40 mph and exit ramp...GREAT PEOPLE and SERVICE, they know how stage trucks.....it's just a very bad delivery for semis....but hey man...they gotta get that meat somehow....thanks for cool and friendly service when I was on verge of a fit....lmao....I need a beer......

I would have given 5 stars but the docks are weird. You’ll have to pull into a busy street to back in ??♀️ No Overnight parking (maybe you could sit on the street in front of the docks) Length of unloading quick Truck stop in area not close Allows early unloading Very Friendly and helpful; Especially with the difficult back situation

The place is difficult to park a tractor trailer. You have to turn in front of the business, follow the street for 200 meters, back up to return in front of the business, then block Tonnelle Ave with the vehicle and back up to the docks. The employees park the vehicles in front of the docks.

As semi-driver, they treat you better than 90% of places, however do to my full trailer going here, was bypassed several times by local delivery drivers, regardless of reviews, not FCFS....backing can be a nightmare for new drivers as posted by others...see some of their pics for reference...not a place as a semi-driver I want to come back to.

Pat LaFrieda’s beef and chicken selections never disappoint. I can’t get enough of the beef & wild mushroom 50/50 burger blend, the thin boneless chicken breasts, and the boneless chicken thighs. Online ordering is a breeze, and their customer service is top-notch. Every order I’ve placed has been impeccably packaged, shipped, and delivered right on time. As soon as I get the ‘out for delivery’ notification, I start singing, ‘Come and knock on my door, I’ve been waiting for you…’ ? It’s my little delivery day tradition!

Come in from 43rd street then make a left on Dell Avenue, go straight down and find dock by 40th Street corner, won't miss it. If no truck on dock, back into 1 then go and check in.

Prime driver, Great staff and fast unload. No overnight parking, must turn down 43rd st then left on Dell Ave. customer docks located at corner Dell and 40th st.

Ordered some steaks for father's day and the quality was outstanding. Also added some sausage to the order and it was also amazing.

I'm the GM of the The Committed Pig in Summit. I know that LaFrieda products are the best around. We order hundreds of pounds of a ground beef blend every week. It comes fresh and stays fresh. The customer service is also stellar. I rarely have any issues with orders, but if I do, it's rectified immediately. I couldn't be happier with our relationship. But, that's not why I'm leaving this wordy review. I recently received a notification from LaFrieda about a sale on dry aged steaks. We don't serve steaks at the restaurant, but personally, I make the best steak this side of the Rockies. And, to be honest, I never had the chance to cook a dry aged one myself. So I ordered the 32oz T-bone. And holy cow, great decision. It was a little thicker than what I normally use and I was a little apprehensive about the cooking process. But I went on the website and they literally have a tab for cooking instructions. So, I prepped my cast iron, jotted down the cook times listed by LaFrieda, concocted my secret signature fresh rosemary and fresh thyme and garlic seasoning and got to work. Look at the pictures. It was hands down the best steak I've ever had. I could pull it apart with my fingers! I didn't want it to end. But that 32oz T-bone was enough to feed two adults and one 8 year old, who are all steak lovers, and were all full and impressed. Needless to say, I highly recommend it. This review is already too long, so I won't get into the crazy flavor profile nuances the aging process presented. I'm just happy I ordered two. #eatmymeat

First let me say, I'm a steak lover, and a chef with over 30 years of studying, and experience under my belt. I've ordered beef, from most of the top purveyors in the country. Mediocre at best, tends to be more fat than meat, under weight, and the dry aged flavor is not as prevalent as the places I frequent. I have had issues with the quality of the meat,I reached out, and nothing was done, I mean it was pure gristle and fat, a waste of money, so I don't order from them anymore. The burgers are good, but the steaks aren't worth it. Master purveyors is number 1, Flannery is number 2 in my book, Chicago steak company and the rest of those guys are over priced, and under flavored.

This place isn't difficult if you know how to drive. If you past the 1st turn, you can make a left at the next light on 43rd st then come out on 40th st and Park in the exit lane. This place is 1st come 1st serve so your appt time doesn't mean anything. Get here early to beat traffic and get out of here early. I wouldn't recommend parking overnight because the streets are so busy.

Bought dry aged beef burgers, Gold label, advertised as a special blend, was the most horrible Texter of a burger I’ve ever had in my life, And even worse was the customer service from lafreida that never responded to the purchase, gold belly who offered $10 off on $160 purchase was insulting but, answered. Either way done with both will never order from gold belly or Freda again

I love great steaks and have tried all the major high end meat purveyors in the country and without a doubt these guys are the best! They are the only one I know of that ships their products fresh and not frozen. The taste of they beef is amazing. Filet is truly LL center cut to perfection. The dry aged porterhouse puts your favorite steakhouse to shame it’s so good. Prices are competitive,, and the items have always shown up right on time. One time I got a bad steak and they immediately replaced my entire order at no cost, so their customer service is also great. It’s too bad half their poor reviews are from truck drivers that can’t drive.

First let me say Fatty has customer service that is unmatched. I am a truck driver and was getting loaded to deliver. Upon reading the website about how the meat is renowned. I absolutely was not leaving this place without any meat. I simply called Fatty and he was able to make it happen for me. I got a five pound package the was chuck and brisket. Let me tell you that ground beef the best I had since ....Ever. As far as the truck parking goes .... if you can’t drive and have no whip game it’s going to be a problem. We blocked a little traffic but we got in the just fine. It also depends on the time of day. It was 8 am on Saturday so it was a little easier. Thanks again Fatty!!??

Small but do-able! Today the employees were helpful with staging us truckers so won’t cause a mess of traffic on the street. The employees will spot you when backing. I posted a recommended staging route below for anyone who needs an idea. I did it so you all don’t make the mistake and go through what I went through when I first came here ? Good luck drivers cause after this you’gon need a beer...

Extremely difficult backing operation for new drivers! It's all about the setup. Must go to the dirt lot to do a sight side backup. Easiest way for new drivers. As the map shows, set yourself up by turning around in the next street.

Dock workers were good to deal with. We came in early and they unloaded us. The dock location is a nightmare. Had to drive into oncoming traffic on Tonnelle Ave to back around corner on 36th street. Pulled back onto Tonnele Ave and blocked 4 lanes of traffic to get set up to get the right angle to back into the dock. If you don't you may have to use the sidewalk and could catch your bumper on the chain link fence across 36th street. Won't be back.

If you are here to deliver a load with a 53ft trailer then yes I agree with the other reviews about this place being difficult to get into since this is a really busy street. If you are coming from 1-9 and Lafrieda is on your left across the street. I was told to go down to the next light and make a left then another left at the stop sign and the another left to get back on 1-9. Its possible, just be careful since there are parked cars on the streets. That way you can just park along side the building on the street and then check in. Now the backing is one thing. Just like the other reviews you're going to have to back in from the street. This place is anxiety inducing. Its not the backing im worried about, it's the cars passing by at the speed of sound since the building is right next to an exit ramp. You will have to block 4 lanes of traffic and it starts off as blind side backing until you straighten out. The workers here are nice and help to spot you so you back up. Just be mindful that there is a hotshot lot right in front and they are pretty busy so becareful. But other than that you got this truck drivers! Use Google Earth or Satellite view if you still need help.

There are 6 docks but they use only two of them, and really tight, no parking. U have to park on the street. In order to back into the dock u have to block the traffic. No communication at all.
