I had a transmission replaced in a 2006 GMC Sierra, z71, they upgraded my gears, added a shift kit, made it a heavy duty tranny for my truck, had a couple of things that needed attention afterwards, they made it a priority and fixed those issues immediately,, would use this company for any vehicle, am extremely satisfied with them, don't hesitate to use them
My grandfathers car had an issue and had the car towed to Pep Boys because it was the closest to his home. Pep Boys came up with some outrageous quote for things that were not even the issue. These guys came out and towed the car from Pep Boys and had it completely fixed in two days for 1/3 of the price. They are super communicative and helpful. I live an hour and a half away and will never take my car anywhere else.
Chuck rebuilt the 4L60E in my '94 Chevy pickup in November '22.
Six months later and this thing is stronger than when factory new.
It is a towing beast!

Had them tow my truck to my mother's house.. Said it wasn't an issue with it being lowered. Both tail lights are destroyed and ripped the bed off the frame and folded it on the passenger side. Set the front end on jack stands and said" I've got dinner waiting I've got to go" going to Cost over $1000 to fix it. If you want your vehicle damaged this is the place.
Do not let Chuck rebuild your transmission. He does not know how to rebuild them. Spent 1400 to rebuild 2 months all gear gone. Took back for rebuild 4 months later 3rd and 4th gear gone. Been calling him for 3 months trying to reach him. They need to distance themselves from Chuck he gives the shop a bad name. The owner and this wife are good genuinely folks and I believe will stand by their work but never get transmission rebuild from this shop or Chuck I should say. Its not even about the money but the principle of standing by your work.
The mechanic here (owner) is very helpful and gets the job done right away. He doesn't charge me for every little thing he does and if it's easy enough he will show me how it is done. A great place to get your car fixed.
Jj's deserves five stars! Dependable , honest prices, and always on time. They fix everything right the first time! Jj came to our home and started up my Old 73 VW when I couldn't find anyone in the state to look at it, he's dropped everything and rushed to Rockmart to tow our broken down Transit and also made sure our Technicians made it safely back to the Office. Yesterday we dropped off an old GMC van that had been diagnosed that the engine was blown up...this morning Jj surprised us by driving the GMC van back to our office. Wouldn't trust anyone else.
Don't ever trust this place!! The transmission guy Chuck rebuilt my transmission, and it was $550.00 plus a shift kit, put it in car and it want move. Also now that I go by there every time I go by there they're giving it excuses and saying he's not around and they're not responsible for his work. Very poor work ethic and performance. Should have listened to everybody else about this place!!
These guy's saved the day, otherwise my mom would've been stranded on the side of the road at some point. Mom and I were going to lunch and I noticed she had a blinking battery light so we pulled into Jj's, they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue. No two day wait, no outrageous expense, just excellent work and good guys. Honest, reliable and fast, hard to find these days. I highly recommend Jj's for automotive repair :-) Thank you so much !!
Last night around 7 pm I got a flat tire. I was worried there was no place open that time of night, but thank God I saw this place with people still working. I quickly pull in and he fixed my tire in no time and I was back on the road. He wasn't going to charge me , but I insisted. God bless this man and his family. Than you, thank you, thank you.
