Thought I had a problem with the power steering but it was an issue with the pressure hose. They also changed my cabin air filter. They fixed it up in no time at all! 100% recommend Dallas auto.
Absolutely wonderful people. Kind and courteous with excellent business ethics. I wasn't sure what was wrong with my car and they were going to tow it. Rather than just take my money, they were able to determine that it was something simple and didn't need a tiw after all. I will definitely go back for future needs.

Owning and operating a service company it’s hard to clear a day to service our truck, we called right when they opened, received a very friendly and welcoming greeting . They got us in first thing that morning and we had our truck back just after lunch. Great price & great customer service. Glad we chose to also support local.
I used dallas automotive to replace the engine in my 2016 ram 2500. I was reffered by jasper engine. I work on fleet vehicles as a proffession. The comunication was clear throughout the entire process. They were competitive with the other qoutes i recived for this replacement. I chose dallas auto primarily due to the proximity to my home. From my experience i would recomend dallas auto for qaulity repairs to your vehicles. Some of their services might cost slightly more than other shops but i found them to be competitive with my engine replacement. I can say with confidence that i have faith in them to complete repairs or direct you in the most appropriate path
We have an older car that we're trying to keep going. They did a great job and handled a few things that others just ignored. Probably not the kind of car most mechanics would like to work on, but it really made a difference for us. We appreciate their attention!

My wife and I were roadtripping cross-country and our van broke down just outside Atlanta. I probably called 100 mechanics as we attempted to repair the issue. Thankfully, we came across Dallas Auto Repair and they were about two weeks out for normal repairs. But being very understanding of our awkward situation, the staff squeezed us into a high-priority turnaround. We are so thankful for the quality service which safely equipped us for our 1,000 mile trip home. Though miles and miles away, I couldn't recommend the service that Dallas Auto Repair provides more.
#1 repair, Quality repairs, fair prices. Final cost was lower than original quote. Would recommend to anyone.
#2 repair, This Shop is great! My car would not pass emissions. Last time we took it to Toyota for a recall fix, Toyota said it would cost almost $1,000 to fix. Claiming the entire gas tank needed to be replaced for an evap hose repair. Dallas Auto did the repair for a fraction of the cost. Same day repair.

Took our daughter’s car to Dallas Auto Repair when the power steering went out. The car is 11 years old so we expected to at least have to replace a part. After inspection they let us know it was just a corroded connector. They fixed the problem with minimal expense. Hard to find honest mechanics these days but Dallas Automotive definitely fits the bill! Highly recommend and we will be taking our cars there from now on!

Anyone who gives these guys less than a 5 STAR is crazy. I live about an hour away and would not bring my 2006 hummer to anyone else. They are professional, kind, compassionate, thorough, very knowledgeable and fast. More importantly they are great with women customers. I appreciate them so much. I have MAJOR auto repair shop anxiety. I absolutely hate having to deal with car services. I called to make an appointment for my car to have the front brakes done. That process was easy. I dropped my car off and answered (or attempted to) the necessary questions to have my car repaired. I dropped it after after 12 and they were calling me by 4 to tell me my car was done! The price was in line with what I was anticipating and they didn’t try to sell me in extra or unnecessary stuff! My ONLY complaint is, the air pressure light was on, and they didn’t check the air pressure in my tires. But, if that’s my only complaint, I’m good and will return for future service. Thank you!

I've done most of my maintenance myself for the last few years, but found myself with a problem I couldn't solve this week. Air conditioning work is not cheap. But, I know I got value for my money.

They ran codes for my van and told me what the problem was, gave me the most inexpensive way to take care of it and explained it all clearly. The engine light has not gone back on since. The place seemed to be very busy and in demand. They got back to me when they said they would. Seems a fairly priced and competent place to go for car issues.
I pulled in today to see if they could help wire my truck to my trailer I. Told a young man what was happing when I did try to do it my self. He explain. I had a ground issue I ask if the could fix it. He said they could but I would have to leave the truck for two he was back up he was honest and helpful. Went home found the bad ground wire cleaned it I’ll like he said save me 60 dollars and two days of time thank you. Definitely recommend this shop honest people go a very long way
Would give them less but I can’t . I gave them a review when they serviced my car a couple months ago and mysteriously it has disappeared . They don’t like bad reviews .
They charged me for work that was never done on my vehicle . I’ve tried to dispute with my cc company but they lied to them too . The owner is very unhelpful and condescending . He obviously doesn’t know what his staff does or doesn’t do . I know I was overcharged and can prove the work they say they did wasn’t done. $200 is a large amount to overcharge , so beware . I guess they’ll see me in court next .
Great prices . The guys up front are very nice and helpful. Explained everything that was going on with my vehicle and asked if I wanted them to proceed with fixing it and told me the prices. They also offer to take you home if it will be a long job to work on your vehicle if you would rather wait at home until your vehicle is done. I will be back, glad to know I have a mechanic shop I can trust thanks guys! ?
My daughter brought in my car because I was having issues with it, so naturally she gave them her information (number). They gave her a call and she told them that she would have to call them back because it was not her car and she had to get the “ok” from the owner (me). At the time, I was at work so I did not respond quick. When I got her message, I told her to call back and tell them that we wanted to get a second opinion. They quoted her for a price that is more then the standard price they charge for checking your vehicle. When I went to pick it up, I asked the owner why was he charging me so much. He alleged that they had done something to the car (still not sure what), but I told him why he had done any work on the car if my daughter had told him to wait. He immediately got an attitude with me and said that he did not think that “a few extra dollars” would matter if it meant the car was going to be fixed. Anyway he was getting mad/irritated and simply said “pay me the standard price but your car is fixed.” He just kept repeating (with a rude tone) that my car was fixed; however, the next day the car left me on the side of the road. Super frustrating.
Our family has been using Dallas Automotive to work on our vehicles for over 20 years. They are always professional, honest, and up front about necessary repairs. I won't let just anyone wrench on my cars but highly recommend Jason and his crew.
