I am so grateful for this company and their service. Each person went above and beyond to assist me with getting my SUV towed home. Mr Tim was patient while waiting to drive the truck through gate. Mrs Lisa stayed on the phone with me through the whole process and even after close of business to ensure I was taken care of.The Lord was looking out for me today.
Avoid this company.
Quoted one price and charged much more afterward (bait-and-switch). Took the vehicle to an unauthorized location instead of the address provided. Failed to follow clear instructions, was unprofessional and abusive in communication, and showed a complete lack of transparency and accountability.
Not trustworthy. Stay away.
HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE ! NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!
I needed to tow a truck and loaded trailer 10miles i called them and they gave me $650 quote and said they can have someone there within 45min-1hr. I called the driver after about 1hr and he said he was 15min away but that was a lie. Driver showed up after about 4hr, i was calling him to get an update and ask for a picture of the truck when he gets there but he was rude and was hanging up on me, called the office and was told that they cant do anything because the driver is the OWNER and they cant tell him anything.
After about 3.5hr of waiting i called them and asked to cancel the call cause i didn't have time to play around with them. About 20min later driver is sending me a picture of the truck and saying if i cancel i have to pay him $650 or they will tow the truck to there lot. I didn't wanna use them but was forced cause they were gonna take the truck away. I said fine and sand them the address where to take the truck, driver said he cant take the truck to the address i gave them so i had to look for a different lot and send him the address and he confirmed he can take the truck there. Then driver was not a swearing for about 4-5 hours again i didn't know what to do and called the Police and was told i will have to call in the morning to fille a Stolen report . I found the truck at there parking lot in the morning. They took it there with out my approval and charged me over $1500 in stead of $650 we agreed on and they didn't even took the truck to where i needed so the charged me $1500 and didn't even get the job done.
I have all the record, text messages and 2 calls to the police department.
This supposed to be a quick 10 miles tow but it was a 20hr nightmare, i had to drive 6hr all night to go and pick the truck up from them.
This guys should be OUT OF BUSSINES.

After over a year, this company finally decided to reply to my original review. At this point, I am not willing to call them again, not even for a so-called “resolution.” The experience was unacceptable, and there is nothing left to discuss.
This was by far the worst towing experience I have ever dealt with.
Issues experienced include:
- Misrepresentation of pricing (bait-and-switch): quoted one price over the phone and charged significantly more afterward
- Unauthorized relocation of property: failed to tow the truck to the address we explicitly provided and instead took it to an unauthorized location without notifying us
- Failure to follow clear customer instructions
- Unprofessional and abusive communication, including hanging up on calls
- Complete lack of transparency and accountability
- This company cannot be trusted with your vehicle or your money.

Got my car stuck in a ditch the tires were not even on the ground at a very tight driveway. Tim got there in about 15 minutes called on his way to make sure we knew he was coming and honestly made this horrible scary experience easy. He got the car easy with no damage (beyond the crack we put in the bumper when we went into ditch LOL) and was so calm, nice and helpful. Seriously made us feel safe. I appreciate him so much. Made what could have been a terrible a funny memory. Thank you Tim!!!
Today I was stuck on side of the road with a flat tire and Mr. Tim arrived and assisted me in a timely manner and got me and my vehicle to the dealership on time for my appointment. The ride was smooth and at ease I’ll definitely be using this company for all my towing needs!!
My daughters car was having car trouble we called PJ towing and had a wonderful experience with Tim the tow truck driver. He was very professional, friendly ,manerable, and informative even made us laugh at a difficult time. My family and I would definitely reach out to them again.
I had a very disappointing experience with this towing company. We were given a price for a towing service, but once they arrived at the machine, they suddenly raised the rate and pressured us to pay via Zelle . They told us that if we didn’t pay the new unreasonable amount, they would tow our machine anyway. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic.We expected honesty and transparency, but instead got pressure and threats. I do not recommend this company —choose a more reliable and trustworthy service. I dont like giving bad reviews but this company really deserves it.

Horrible towing company. They give you wrong ETA. If you are lucky to even get in touch with them the 1st time. Trust & believe you won't be getting in touch with them after that. The drivers give false ETAs, veery POOR communication. All around bad tto do business with
They arrived quickly but no one gave me a price until it was loaded and strap down then charged me a $175 to go 7 miles across town, to drop it off at the shop. But I felt like he had me over a barrel and I needed to get the car repaired.
P J towing came through and saved me in an emergency and was so courteous and professional. PJ himself came to assist me with my towing need and made sure my property was secured, and unloaded at my door. I recommend P J towing as the company and owner are both great to do business with and make the emergency situations easier to handle!

I had a great experience with PJ Towing. PJ himself was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did he handle the towing professionally, but he also used his personal connections to put me in touch with a few people who were able to resolve my situation quickly and efficiently. On top of that, he let me temporarily park my vehicles on his property until another driver could come pick them up — which was a huge help and took a lot of stress off my shoulders.

Highly recommend these guys! Family owned. Tim and Lisa was very nice and a huge help in getting our truck from Hiram over to Winder (2hr drive) for half what some companies quoted us. Will definitely use again if needed.

My mechanic recommended P J Towing & Recovery to get my car to his shop. I have dealt with sketchy tow companies in the past BUT I finally found a trusted company I highly recommend. Jayd was my tow truck driver and he was met with a precarious situation, my car's e-brake was stuck. I was impressed with his professionalism, kindness and he managed to get my car lifted carefully. PJ Towing was incredible. Shaun helped us out when we needed them most. Tim was awesome as well. Tim is extremely knowledgeable with moving and placing shipping containers. I will for sure be using PJ Towing in the future.
I usually use AAA but was out of tow allowances for the year and since they would have charged me $100 to show up plus $7 per mile and my car needed to be towed to Kennesaw , I thought why not just call a regular towing service this time especially since AAA can be a hassle with their untruthful estimated wait times. This is my first time using PJ towing and they were able to tow my car that day. The tow truck driver, Tim, was super helpful, nice and professional. I would definitely use them again - Carmen Brown
Never came to tow a car blocking my driveway. Said would be there at 8. Never came. Then said they need a police report which is false. Never using this company. I advise you not to if you need prompt service
PJ Towing & Recovery is outstanding. Shon the owner is very professional & takes care of your vehicle as if it were his own. Had an RV mechanical breakdown recently in Atlanta & Shon showed up with his wrecker & towed my RV to a repair facility without further incident/damage. Never had a need for someone to tow my vehicle in 63 years but have had two events in as many months.
After being stuck blocking a fuel pump at a service station for 3 hours waiting on AAA, I decided to call someone to get my vehicle headed to the dealership. Called PJ Towing and he was clear on the estimated cost and was on his way to help me while we were on the phone.
Fantastic, professional service without any unknowns whatsoever.
I will be using PJ Towing again, and highly recommend him to everyone in need of this type service.

I genuinely want to say thank you to the towing truck driver Mitch who came to my rescue a couple of weeks ago. Because of Mitch I was able to get home safe and sound after I locked my keys in the truck. Thanks again for providing great service and being kind. AAA was first on the seen and could not solve my problem. Thank God for PJ towing for getting home.
Don’t worry about the insurance company. Call him he’s coming! The insurance company called someone unreliable and had us waiting. We called PJ and he took care of us!!! PH Towing is now in our contacts PERIODT!
