I have gone to this goodwill for a while, but recently moved away so it's not as convenient as it used to be. I shopped here on my way to something because I was familiar with it and now regret that decision. Yesterday, I was trying to return some clothes I bought a few days ago that did not fit and was told that the return system was down. I thought that was weird since everything with the rest of the system seemed to be working fine, but I gave the employee the benefit of the doubt and left a little frustrated. I then had someone call the store today and see if they were accepting returns today and was told yes. After getting this info, I took time out of my busy day to go to the store. I showed up, waited in line and when I got to the counter I was told once again that their system was down. I expressed how frustrating this was since the store is out of the way and you can only return it at the store you bought it from. Plus, I mentioned how I got turned away the day before as well. They tried to convince me to do an exchange instead, but I was not okay with that. I then told them that we had called the store and were told they were accepting returns today. Then she called her manager up to the front and my return was accepted just fine. I was so annoyed that I was lied to, most definitely once, but probably twice. If you are trying to return something and they tell you the system is down, ASK AGAIN. Lying to customers is unacceptable and terrible customer service.

Went here on October the 30th at around 6 and everything was going great until I went to go ask one of the workers if the dressing rooms were open (it was my first time there) and the lady, I asked cussed at me and said that they weren’t open sarcastically and walked away furious. Mind you, I asked nicely, and even after I she cussed at me and gave me a dirty look. I did not say a single thing to her back. Then I left my car there for two minutes at least to go check out another item and when I came back, it was gone and they had put all my stuff back (i was not more than 5 feet away from my cart) everyone was in a bad mood that day the cashier that was there was such in a bad mood and was just overall rude, I walked into that store having high expectations but left disappointed. Y’all really just be hiring anyone at this point!!! Do better

A well kept store. They had some good items compared to other Goodwill stores. It's hard to find anything good sometimes because they list all their good stuff on their website

One tall black lady here by the name of Juwana is mean and discriminatory towards my mom! ? as long as she's working here, I will not be shopping here! Unless this situation changes, I will give this place a one star! She even threatened to call the cops on us! Telling us we didn't belong there! She might be racist ? nobody here likes her! She needs to be fired and replaced!

The guy who was receiving the donations was so rude. I asked him if the center accepts college books as donation. He didn’t want me there at all. We cannot even communicate inside the store near the door. He said you can’t be inside when he takes my carry on with all my college books which costs lots of dollars which I kept in a very good condition(very New). I suggest you see who you hire. He has attitude when he responds which was unacceptable!!

i shop at many goodwill stores all are good. but the experience at this place is very annoying. the cashier is an indian woman in her 50s. she is rude, impolite. told me the pants are not 50% off because i faked the 50% off tag. that is crazy. i did not do that. then she offered to pay 100%, i agreed. i have a gift card for 15$ but she checked saying no money and kept my card not wanting to give it back to me because i did not have money in card. i was angry and left saying i do not need anything. i did not buy 5 pants for my pregnant wife. you can check the camera at the cashier at 19:45 on june 29th with white american man in white shirt and black hat

I was purchasing 2 panda tea cups the price was $1.79 for both, it was wrapped together and the manager WANTED ME to pay $1.79 for each one of them because there were 2 stickers of that same price come on she is totally crazy greediness is starting in the Goodwill and on top of that they ask for rounding up. When they get Items totally FREE from all of us who makes items donations and want to charge extra, Also why this places charge to much taxes on USED second hand items like they are NEW.

*EDIT: Updated my review to reflect improvements. The issues stated below are no longer occurring. Something is going on with the staffing at this location. Today, there were no employees anywhere to be found in the store for over 15 minutes, resulting in multiple potential customers leaving because they were not able to check out. Last Tuesday they didn't open the front doors until well after opening time.

Locked the doors EARLY and wouldn’t let me in. the employee that lied and said they were closed got a high five from the other one. Nice.

The fact that the fitting rooms are closed to the public is very inconvenient. Then they say you can bring it back within 14 days for store credit,immediately no. I took the items to the restroom and tried them on.

Apparently some cashiers ( older ladies) are so over worked lately thus resulting in them having such a nasty and rude attitude. When double checking for items scanned and trying to make the payment recently,i was told to ''put a rush on it" because she had a big line mind you she was the one that kept having trouble scanning things. So i just left everything there. I'm paying their asking price not stealing so should be treated with respect. And if i wait patiently when they only got 1 cashier working then i expect them to extend that same curtesy when it's my turn.

I came here to get chairs for an office space. Upon arriving I saw only one of the chairs I needed. I picked up the chair and proceeded to head to the cashier. Once there I discovered that the price tag had flew off. The cashier rudely told me that if there's no price on it I would have to wait 24hrs for them to make a price. Once hearing that I went to retract my steps. I was able to locate the missing price tag on the floor where I was. When I returned to the cashier with price tag she began to ask did this price tag come from my chair. Nevermind the price tag had the price and the description of merchandise on said tag. It was clear that being nasty and rude was in her nature I asked for the manager.Cashier began to laugh as she walked to the phone to call manager. Once the manager came I had explained the situation. As a result she explained tht what the cashier said regarding 24hr turnaround pricing was accurate. She then stated with a smirk she apologized. At this point it was obvious that the supervisor and said cashier have a relationship to the degree where her horrible behavior is commonly overlooked and accepted. After my horrible treatment from both employees I decided to take my business elsewhere. Its obvious this company is desperate and hire the worst of the worst of people as employees. No warm welcoming, no friendly faces,no customer service, no respect for the paying customers or the business. Just rude, nasty service,awful attitudes, hair scarfs and long bat wing eyelashes.The cashier looked liked she literally rolled out of bed and came to work.Thank God for the Duluth Goodwill location!

I love my experience here, from finding many wonderful items, the kind nice ladies at the register, and the donor door guys they are hardworking guys especially for being out there during the weather been having taking donation.

Bad experience.. Went to Goodwill this evening and there 2 cashiers while in line. One of the cashiers closed her register while there was a line of customers waiting, leaving one cashier to handle everyone. That is not good customer service therefore I will not be shopping at this location again..

I love shopping here. I want to give a higher number of stars but c'mon, Goodwill, could you maybe train your unloading staff to be slightly less rude? I mean it would be awesome if they were alot less rude but I'll take any semblance of a pleasant experience.

Store was somewhat organized and the cashier was nice but I’m tired of the fitting rooms being closed. It’s just a way to scam you out of money because they won’t refund, only exchange. Then you have x amount of days to exchange and it has to be at the same location. It’s almost 2023-this needs to change.

The store was clean, organized, the cashier very rude and miserable. She was buying some vases and she didn't even wrap them because it was a lot of work and she had to put a lot of paper (she said) and as I complained, she took it out and only put small pieces around it. Because some vases were priceless he said he wouldn't pass them on that he was sorry, instead of calling his manager and asking. Thank you very much. I don't go back to that goodwill.

Horrible management! I would rate this goodwill a 0 star if I could. The manager, Javis was not pleasant and had very cocky arrogant attitude. The way he made me feel after my shopping experience was unacceptable. Before I could ask for corporate’s number he started to recite it with a disgusting look and tone. Great items, need new management who actually enjoy their jobs.

I came here looking for work professional clothes. They had a great selection but too bad I wasn't able to buy any since their FITTING ROOMS ARE STILL CLOSED. I refuse to buy a bunch of pieces just to take them home to try them on and then not even be able to get my money back (they give you store credit). I live out of town and with my busy schedule, I am unable to return them in 7 days to the exact same store. Their return policy is a joke!

Pleasantly surprised. The store was very clean AND the clothes were organized by size. I've never seen that at a Goodwill before! Granted, it's not fail proof, but the effort is definitely appreciated. Was thrilled to find a Cuisinart popcorn maker. I also thought it was cool that one of the employees was taking time to organize the end caps in the household goods section by color. Near the checkout, they have new basic items like you'd find at a grocery store, like candy, phone chargers, kitchen utensils, etc. Definitely one of the better locations I've been to!

Dropped off a van full of old belongings. The assistant was very helpfull and efficient. We unloaded everything in about 10 minutes or less. It had taken me an hour plas to load the van. He was very kind as I parted with a beloved antique dresser complete with mirror.

I got some great clothing here today. Banana Republic, Liz Claiborne, Gap jeans, beautiful sweaters and workout pants. I love finding bargains. If you are serious about budgeting, shop second hand like I do, it feels good to leave the store with two big bags of clothing for under $70. Happy Shopping ?

The variety is exceptional. A lot of cool oversized T-shirts, but most bad quality. Not the shop to find unique cool pieces. Has no name brand sports clothes... so overall I would give it a 3.

Like all other locations, these stores are hit or miss. You may find something today but you may not. This particular location always clean, well stocked, and the people are always friendly and helpful. I visit this fairly often.
