I brought my truck a 95 Ford F150 to Five Forks for engine issues that had me worried. My prior experience with mechanics had left me feeling like I was being robbed, but this visit completely changed my perspective. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Sadie at the front desk. I explained my issues and They listened carefully to my concerns and assured me they would perform a thorough diagnostic test. The team didn't just tell me what was wrong; they kept me informed throughout the entire process. Mr. Brian called me with a detailed explanation of the problem and gave me a clear, fair quote before starting any work. My truck has been running beautifully since. I bring all my old trucks here 1980- 1996. Brian is very knowledgeable, everyone here is respectful and honest. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially for classic vehicles. We took our vehicle in for a service and were more than pleased with it!! We are from out of town and needed brakes, and an our oil changed and they were more than happy to get us in so we could get on the road the next day. Anyone passing through, or locals to the town, I HIGHLY recommend their service. On top of great service, there is great hospitality in the front office! Id give them 10/10 if It was an option! I took my vehicle to Five Forks Automotive for an alternator replacement and it turned out to be a costly mistake. Shortly after the service, my car began experiencing electrical issues. I contacted AAA twice, and both times, they confirmed the problem was not with the battery but the alternator. Contrary to what Five Forks later claimed, AAA never installed a battery in my vehicle they only provided jump starts. I ultimately had to take my vehicle to a certified Dodge dealership, where a full inspection revealed the alternator had been improperly installed. According to their official report, this incorrect installation caused significant damage, including failure of the fuse box and unnecessary battery drain. As a result of this negligent repair, I incurred over $3,000 in losses including: Unnecessary parts (over $300 worth) purchased based on misdiagnosis Rental vehicle expenses Lost wages Additional repair costs to fix what Five Forks should have done right the first time I provided all documentation to the shop including Dodge's findings and a video showing the issue and gave them an opportunity to resolve this fairly. Instead of owning the mistake, they tried to deflect blame to AAA, despite clear evidence to the contrary. This has been a frustrating and financially draining experience. I am now pursuing legal remedies, including small claims court, due to the lack of accountability and proper customer care. I strongly advise others to avoid this shop. When something goes wrong, you deserve a mechanic who stands by their work — not one who blames other parties and leaves you to deal with the damage.

I was in a pickle and on a recommendation I went to Five Forks Automotive… their staff was knowledgeable, thorough, honest, kind and very helpful! Shout out to Sadie & Dylan for listening to my sob story and getting me back on the road. Y’all are awesome!!

I have been coming to this mechanic for about 3 years. Great customer service from both Sadie and Amy! They’re incredibly fair with prices and always trustworthy. I highly recommend their services.

The local shop we have been going to for decades recently changed ownership and their service dropped dramatically. A friend recommended Five Forks Automotive and I wish I’d have found them earlier. So far we’ve had 4 different services on 3 vehicles in the family. In every case the work was performed faster than expected and at a lower price. For instance: I dropped my truck off for some engine and brake work on Sunday night and the work was completed by 2:00pm on Monday. The previous shop I’d used would have taken over a day before they’d even looked at it. I absolutely love the transparency in the billing. Just tell me what the parts cost and how many hours of labor. In all 4 cases when I’ve come to pick up the vehicle there were no surprises and I paid exactly what I was quoted before the work was done.

I used to take my two vehicles to OEM auto dealerships, however, due to issues with the dealerships I now take both vehicles to Five Forks Automotive as they are professional, allow you to supply parts if you wish, will obtain OEM parts if you prefer them over aftermarket, etc. They are very accomodating; provide quality work and fair pricing. Due to my positive experience with them, two family members now patronize their business along with my neighbor who has two vehicles. It's true - word of mouth advertising - works!

As long as I live within driving distance of Five Forks Automotive, I will take all of my family's vehicles here. Not only do they give honest assessment when you have a problem, they also go above and beyond to help you find the most effective and least expensive way to resolve the problems EVEN if that involves looking outside of their garage. They have always treated me like family, so I'm locked in. You'll get the same treatment.

This type of business is why you should support your local business. I had wanted to change my wheel bearings, but I had no time to do it myself. Calling the dealership, I was given a hefty bill (Before taxes) and decided to try an independent shop. I had a ignition coil changed by Five Forks Automotive before, but this repair job was going to be a bigger test. The setup of the appointment was very professional. Unlike the dealership, which would frequently ignore my calls and never call back, Five Forks Automotive was always available to answer my questions. Sadie, the person that setup the appointment was very professional, giving me all the quotes I needed and answering all the questions I asked (I can ask a lot of questions when a pretty penny!). The actual repair job was relatively quick and high quality. When I asked them to use OEM wheel bearings, it wasn't a problem for them to get them. The job was relatively quick, and the car's issue has actually been resolved. One thing I will praise about them is the honesty: Sadie informed me that quote I gotten was wrong and gave the right/affordable price for the OEM wheel bearings. A lot of shadier shops would have kept that quiet and take the increase profits, but it shows that this is a local business you can trust. Overall, I saved about 10-20% going to Five Forks Automotive while still getting quality work! TL;DR: If your looking for a local shop to do quality work on your vehicle, you can't go wrong going to Five Forks Automotive.

Dropped my truck off to replace front rotors after ford told me they did the rears. They called and told me they believe it’s the rear not the front. Long story short their expertise saved me from having to pay twice and now the truck drives great. Thank you Five Forks team!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! My family's go to mechanic for all of our cars. We had been looking for a new mechanic and found ours here. Incredibly nice, professional, honest and fair pricing. Absolutely stellar people! My husband had to have his truck worked on, and they were honest and did a great job. The part they ordered for him came in used, it was a returned part. They called him and told him it was a used part and they were getting a new one. They had it ready by close of business today and everything. We will definitely go back if we need ANYTHING fixed on his truck again!

I bring my car here to do large work everything because they are genuine and do not overcharge me for unseen "shop" fees. They are good about honoring their time. Ms. Aimee is super helpful And will putl you at ease even if you become stressed. I would give my money to mom/pop shops before corporate companies that do not care about me, my car, my return service, or my money.

We've brought all our cars here for years. They are friendly, knowledgeable and honest and stand behind their work. They never do more than agreed upon without your consent. Love having such a great garage nearby.

Highly recommend - can't say enough good things about my experience with this shop. Was visiting from out of town and they fit me in and repaired my car in 2 days. The computer was giving a code that could have resulted in a new transmission, but turned out to just need a transmission fluid flush - so impressed with their honesty and integrity. And Sadie is amazing - very meticulous and kept me informed the whole time. Fantastic experience from start to finish - thanks y'all.

Three visits with parts replaced that I did not approve of and had to pay for. The issue is still not resolved. A/C condenser was cracked, which I knew, but after two leak tests with no leak found, twice it was "fixed" Schrader valves were replaced without my permission and without any indication they were failing, but I was still charged. I understand some things are difficult to find an issue with, but this shouldn't result in replacing parts until they think they have a fix. We weren't in a hurry to get the vehicle back, which I indicated more than once, but they want them out so they can get their backlog in - fixed or not, I suppose. They are nice people and that is what I gave a second star for, but I won't go back and it looks like I will have to turn to a dealership to get this resolved.

Absolutely outstanding group of people to work with. They are honest, precise and reasonably priced. They will not perform work on your vehicle if it's not needed. I have been dealing with Brian and his crew for the past 10yrs and would recommend them to anyone hands down. They diagnose, call with the estimate and repair with your consent. I could go on and on. Absolutely outstanding....

Several weeks ago, based upon the services offered on to their website, I decided to take my older model ('86 Nissan 300ZX) vehicle to them for diagnostics and ultimately, repair. I explained up front that there was no urgency/rush for the repairs, I just wanted to know the overall condition of my vehicle and what repairs were immediate vs those that could wait. This expectation was discussed verbally and via email -- once I knew the issues and repair costs (parts & labor), we would decide on a timeline for tackling the repairs. My vehicle was dropped off, 4/6/2022. On Thursday, 5/12, I stopped by the shop to find out that they were waiting for me to either bring in the parts to be installed OR pick up my car and bring it back with the parts and have them install them. A few days prior to this, I had emailed them a quote from ParksGeek.com reflecting the parts that they said they “could not find”. Aimee never acknowledged the quote, instead she proceeded to share that they had used a "customer-provided parts arrangement” with another one of their customers and it had worked. I reminded Aimee that from day 1, OUR arrangement was that they would provide a comprehensive list of repairs necessary, then we would decide on what and when they would do the complete repairs. She acknowledged our original conversations. At this point, they had had my vehicle for approx. 1 month. I decided to cut ties and paid $110 for the “diagnostics”. I told Aimee that I would pick up my car by close of business or the following morning. About 3 hrs. later, I returned and picked up my car. There were internal covers removed to perform the "diagnostics" and those covers were left removed. The receipt was a 1-page generic document with basic diagnostic verbiage. Aimee attempted to take blame and apologized for any misunderstandings that "may" have happened. I work for the most customer focused/customer centered company currently on the planet and what happened to me with Five Forks Automotive, ranks up there as one of the most epic failures, I’ve experienced, with regards to customer satisfaction and service. The company I work for is not perfect and will probably continue to make some mistakes. However, they are going to ultimately do right by our customers...which keeps our customers loyal, keeps them happily purchasing more, and keeps them sharing their positive experiences, hence attracting more customers! At least (3) three of my companies' (15) business principals were pertinent to this situation, but were clearly missing in my interaction with Five Forks Automotive; those principles are: Customer Obsession, Ownership, and Earn Trust... I completely understand that every day small businesses are at risk of not getting paid for their services, however strategies can and should be implemented to mitigate that risk…JUST disclose and explain those strategies to your customers up front - not promise one thing, then switch gears down the road. Based on the other reviews, it appears that Five Forks Automotive has done some good work, however that was not my experience.

I can't say enough good things! They are always honest & professional and Amy at the front desk is amazing. With most auto shops I feel like I can't trust what they tell me about what is wrong with my car and the price but with Five Forks Automotive I know they are doing me right. Go see them!

The folks at Five Forks Automotive are extremly professional, friendly and very honest. They have been taking good care of our vehicles since 2018. This is the only shop I take my vehicles in for repairs. They have an excellent track record and have established great trust.

I was having emission related issues for a month and couldn't figure it out after switching out multiple sensors which lead to an endless amount of new OBD2 codes showing up one after another. Amy and Steve were super helpful, willing to take a look into the issues the day I dropped it off. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly and help me out! Steve kept in contact with me with what was needed to be fixed. Very reliable and friendly people. I definitely will be coming back!

Trustworthy and friendly, I wouldn't take our cars anywhere else. I have never felt take advantage of, and they are consistent with great work every time. They make you feel like family, and take care of your car the same way. Highly recommend!!!

Took my 2004 Jeep Wrangler in for a new clutch kit and fly wheel. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. My first time there but they treated me like I was a regular. The work was done very well and was done in an extremely timely manner and at a very fair price. I’ll be back the next time I need auto work for sure.

Our family has been taking our cars here for 10+ years. They have always been honest, reliable, and tell you what you need without throwing in extras. Most recently my transmission went out Tuesday, they had it replaced and I was able to get back on the road by Friday. They told me an almost exact estimate of what everything would cost, adhered to the time frame, and kept me updated throughout. I’d highly recommend them to everyone!

A great experience overall, and I highly recommended them! I brought my car in due to a check engine light, and was very impressed by the friendly and professional service I received. Though it was my first time doing business there, I felt like a long-term customer. Brian gave me a thorough explanation of what could be causing the problem, and, because I live nearby, even gave me a ride home. Sharon let me know later that day what the specific problem was, the status of obtaining the part I needed, and an estimate of the (very reasonable) cost that was right on the money when I picked the car up the next day.
