I placed an order at 3:30PM EST. I had not received an update on my order so I went to the store around 5:15 to get the order. When I walked in I was not greeted. When an associate finally came to the counter they advised me that they didn’t have what I needed and cancelled my order. I told the associate I needed proof of cancellation as the only email I received was an order confirmation and the link to check the status of my order still said in process and not cancelled. The associate told me she could not provide me with proof of cancellation. I remained in the store and said I needed a voided receipt or cancellation email. For 30 minutes associates walked around me and did not speak to me at all. Another associate finally walked up to the counter and asked me my name. He then typed my name in the system and left. 5 minutes later he came back with the battery I requested online that I was just previously told my an employee that they did not have. After I return my old battery for the refund of my core part, I will not be using this store again. This is my second battery I have purchased from them with my first being in July for my other car and I faced issues with them in getting a refund for my core part as they advised their system wouldn’t allow them to refund me. This is deplorable business practices and I just can’t justify continually spending my money with a business where service is not of the upmost, especially when it comes to something so valuable as car parts.
The store is clean and inviting but more than that, the staff is amazing. Jasmin & Tim are world class. Both were incredibly helpful, polite and genuinely happy to assist me. I stopped in to have a battery tested and ended up purchasing and replacing my battery with theyre help. They were one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had! I think I was in and out inside of ten minutes. Thanks for helping me today!
I came to get my battery tested and was told I need a new one. Was given an approximate price, which I was fine with. Then he said they cannot install it cause there is a light sprinkle outside.
I did place the order online around 8:30 in the morning. I show up at 1:20 in the afternoon to pick it up order. It was not even ready at the counter. Doesn’t know what he’s looking for. I have to go out of my way and pull my own orderbecause the guy couldn’t find out where the oil filter was by customer service.
Car had a failing battery and the employees here (wish I could remember names) helped test it and find me an affordable replacement. They installed it quickly and sent me on my way. Can't ask for much more.

If I could put no stars for this store, I would. I have a vehicle that I’ve been attempting to repair, but the engine wind up blowing on me so I have no use for the parts I bought. I never used these parts or opened the packaging. I attempted to take items back to this store and the manager was giving me a very difficult time about returning my items. On one of my purchases, in their system it was marked as returned to a Visa card when I paid cash and I had every item in question. I assume somebody working there were doing fraudulent returns. The second time which was 30 minutes ago I attempted to return a bit set that was unopened, the manager tried to argue with me saying that I couldn’t return the items and he then told me I wasn’t allowed to shop at the store anymore after the return was processed which made me very irritated. He then changed his mind and said I couldn’t return the item or shop at the store anymore. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy parts from this store that they’re unsure of using because you won’t get your $ back without an argument and having to fully explain why the item is being returned which is none of their business. I had a terrible experience at this store and I feel discouraged to shop at any branch of advanced auto parts. I won’t be subjected to this embarrassment again. I visited today as my wife had been having issues starting her car. The gentleman who helped was unreservedly polite and helpful, and when he had run the tests he also asked the manager (Dimitri?) to come out for a second opinion. The manager was certain the issue was the battery after all, and offered not only to get the car started again if I needed, but never put any pressure on me to buy a product from AAP. I reviewed their battery options and warranty and decided to go with another vendor. They didn't flinch, I can only say I feel I owe them and AAP something. I'll give them business in the future and hope this review encourages others to support this honest and generous way of working.
My husband was walking by and went in and simple asked if anyone had a lighter so he could light his cigarette they were rude to him and had a attitude.
They won't replace your battery, even when it says "free battery replacement".
They state that not all make and models are included on this offer, but I saw my car on their computer that says something like associate replace, and still they didn't, and why would they do it? it is cooler and nicer inside the store, and they are not making extra money for battery replacement. But it just seems like false advertising issue here, bait and switch.
Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, gentlemen on counter appeared to be bothered by questions of parts I needed!!!! When I asked if he could help me or not, his response was “I ain’t gon sweat it if I do or I don’t” he definitely needs better training and to be reminded that this is a place a business, never coming back to this store.
