Amazing customer service! Staff could not have been more helpful or nicer. Tiffany was excellent and very knowledgeable. She made the experience of dealing with car repairs very easy. Bristol and Jamal were excellent at their jobs. Jamal took the time to explain every detail of what was either necessary or not needed to be repaired with my car. If something didn’t work, they fixed it. There was no arguing. They just said we need to figure this out. Incredible people!
After making me waited 1h and half no work was done, these people didn’t care at all especially technician Jamal who promised to do ac diagnostic and make wait from 5.30 to 6.55pm without having a single look to my car. I choose this location after checking the feedback but I can assure you that how you will be treated is totally different compared to what some people said. I am really disappointed and don’t recommend this location at all
I can’t say enough great things about this location and the incredible service I received on New Year’s Day. Getting a flat tire on a holiday is stressful, but they completely turned the situation around.
Jamal, the mechanic, was outstanding - professional, knowledgeable and genuinely caring. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly and had me back on the road in no time. His skill and calm attitude made a huge difference.
At the front desk, Aadel was just as amazing. Friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful, he made the entire process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. You can tell he truly values customer service.

I called Mr. Joe at this location, needing my vehicle to be repaired the same day. He made adjustments in him and his entire staff were able to actually get my vehicle back to me sooner than what they thought. They also identified other areas that need to be brought to my attention. This Pep Boys has now become my go to. They’re smaller than the other ones, but they’re big in service and professionalism. Only place that wanted to charge let alone 30$ to patch a tire other place did it for free and said that every tire place for the most part if they're big tire places do free patches
Took my 2012 Honda Pilot in for a battery light on the dash. They ran a quick charge test and determined it was the alternator. Jonathan was nice enough to come in on his day off to replace it and charge up the battery while he replaced the alternator. This job would normally take me a whole weekend but they had it done in less than a day. Car has run great ever since. They even perform multi point inspections to check tires, brakes, belts, and filters. Will be returning here for any future work I need done.
Full transparency: alternator replacement usually costs between $750-$1,100 depending on car model and how difficult it is to get to the alternator. My bill was just over $677 and they had to drop the AC compressor to replace it.
A nice gentleman helped me with my tire that a previous worker at a previous business over-inflated and made sure all of my tires were safe to drive. He didn't have to take time from what he was doing, to help but I am so happy he did!
Briston at this Pep boys is the man! I was traveling and got a flat tire. He filled my tire up with air so I could get back to my hotel. I came back by when I could drop it off for the evening and the air lasted me long enough to get back. He made sure my car was ready in time for me to leave town. Thankful for the care and speedy repair!
My car broke down at 4 pm Thursday,as I was driving to the Nissan dealership. But I was able to glide into the Pep Boys parking lot. Boy am I glad I did.
I needed a new alternator. When the new part arrived, and they went to install it, unfortunately there was a second part that also needed to be repaired.
I had to work all day the next day. I asked the manager if he could get the part in at 8 AM and installed it by 10 AM, so I can get to work an hour later and push back all my appointments. They did exactly that and they were finished at 9:20 AM.
There were also the best price from the other estimates that I received. I will definitely be coming back here for not only my repairs, but my oil changes. Thank you so much.
This will be my new go-to oil change and maintenance spot. They did the job as they were supposed to and that's what counts. They were super backed up when I dropped my vehicle off with them but a quick UBER ride home was no big deal. I got a phone call when it was ready and headed back over. Prices are reasonable too!
Tony fixed my A/C on my Jeep and checked on everything for me at the beginning of the summer and I am soooo happy he did because it has been so hot. I highly recommend asking for Tony at this location he is amazing at what he does! He's very informative and will try to explain what's going on so we understand it which is so helpful. I got the manager named John and he was awesome! I got new tires, an alignment and an oil change. The price was better than every where else I called. Great customer service!
Horrible place took like 5 hour for a brake replacement and charged me 450 for only the rear. 150 for the labour. Labour meaning them just standing around and talking to each other. 2 hour mark I stood up to check my car still bring held up and them just talking doing notthing. Save your money and go somewhere else.
LITERALLY THE WORST SHOP YOU COULD EVER GO TO!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! Unless you want the world's worst service! Didn't start on my vehicle for a week! Told me they could handle the job. It's been there for 2 months! Of course taken apart where i can't have it removed from them. THEN when I call every 3 days to get an update I am met with nonchalant attitude. Brush me off the phone and hung up on me when I asked do you even care at all. His name was BRISTON by the way.. I am a retire firefighter and Paramedic that has serviced this area for 20 years. To get this service in MY COMMUNITY is unacceptable! I cannot allow anyone else to endure them. This is not the first time they haven't fulfilled their obligations. Just the most recent!
John is the manager and Bryan the technician. I had a positive experience! Staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable! I took my European vehicle in for break inspection. Bryan performed the brake job with sensors. Job well done!
The manager and worker at the shop were very rude to both my husband myself and the driver that came to pick up my vehicle. While I had just had work done on the front end on this car in September 2024, they would not even entertain the thought that it was related to the new issues and tried to blame everyone one else including the tow truck driver. The manager was the most rude of them all.
These guys are beyond amazing, they handled everything and went above and beyond to get my car repaired the same day. I originally went to the jeep dealership who wanted to keep my car for a week without calling my insurance company to give a diagnostic so I could get a rental. These guys took care of everything!!! 10/10 recommend!!!!
I have been reporting to this location over the past 2-3 years and I must say the service has declined tremendously over the past year. To sum up my HORRIBLE experience, recently I reported to this location three times in less than one week due to unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and unethical behavior from each staff member (DJ, Ken, and one of their technicians). After reporting to this location for a second time, I waited on site for five hours for a few simple request (a tire rotation, balancing of two tires and a wheel alignment check) after arriving on time for my appointment. Let's say every request was completed but they failed to advise me that "all of my hub centric rings were missing" during my second visit (which all falls back on the Pep Boys located on Covington Hwy in Decatur, Ga). However, I had to return back to the Lilburn location for a third time due to me experiencing vibration while driving my car, this is when they advised me that all of the hub centric rings were missing. This lead to me being completely upset with the staff and expressing my frustrations in a civilized manner (excluding disorderly conduct and profanity). This all resulted in their technician being unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and so out of line towards me. He did so by being smart mouthed, verbally calling my rims cheap and insulting my intelligence all at once. The manager (DJ) stood there and watch the technician and I go back and forth. The manager basically condoned the employee's behavior because he failed to intervene and deescalate the situation. Overall, I ended purchasing a set of hub centric rings and they were put on to my vehicle by the technician. But I WILL NOT be returning to this location nor the Covington Hwy location as well.
Staff were responsive to my request, timely diagnosis and timely repair. I was provided frequent updates on the repair. Friendly folks and will definitely make this shop my go-to for all things automotive.
I had a great experience at this Pep Boys! Recently took in two vehicles for oil changes, and Richard was super friendly and helpful. He got both cars in right away and also took the time to explain what other services we might need, which I really appreciated.
The oil changes were quick, and we were out of there in no time. It’s nice to know I can trust them with my cars, and I’ll definitely be back for any future services. Highly recommend!

Don’t even bother making an appointment, they won’t honor it and will tell you “appointments don’t reflect what we have on the lot.” So essentially making an appointment is pointless, because they’ll get to it when they get to it. Came in right on time for my 10am appointment and told it would be 2-3 hours for an oil change because of the above quoted statement. I’ve never been to a place that made me wait that long after making an appointment. While I do understand operating on a first come first serve basis, having an appointment should automatically bump you up over someone that walked in. Went somewhere else that said it would take 45 minutes tops. The man behind the front desk on Thursday 4/30 has quite a condescending attitude, I don’t think I would put him in a customer facing position, speaking as someone that’s worked in customer service for the better part of decade. I feel like he was talking down to me because I’m a woman. I’m not stupid, I can do my own oil change in half an hour. Even Walmart doesn’t take more than an hour for an oil change. Go anywhere else for an oil change, but don’t bother with this pep boys unless you have half of the day to wait around.
So it’s New Year’s Day and I have a low tire … looking for a place that is open to get it checked and Pep Boys filled the need. Matt confirmed what I was already told the day before, that I needed 2 new tires… I decided to go ahead and get my oil changed in addition to the tires … service was effective and efficient … technicians were helpful and knowledgeable for my tire needs… Surprisingly they were busier than expected for a holiday, so there was a small wait but service was very good… it was a little pricey for me but prices have gone up everywhere, I’m sure it was comparable to other places.
GO ELSEWHERE!! Made an appointment for 9am. Got here on time. They took their sweet time doing a simple oil change. I didn’t leave until 11:30!! Here’s a timeline:
Didn’t check my car in until 9:40. Tried to up service me at 10:35. Of course tires! Also Shocks and struts for a 3 year old car. Politely declined. Pulled my car up at 11 in front of the shop. At 11:17 I walk to the front desk to ask can I go. He points to my papers and keys JUST SITTING THERE on the desk, then proceeds to help the person who just walked in. Meanwhile I’ve been patient waiting 2+ hours for a simple oil change that I made an appointment for.
I didn’t walk out until 11:30 because why? I will never ever service this place again and I recommend not coming here.
Great customer service and good prices, definitely recommend this place.
I brought my two vehicles for new tires.
