I’m a woman in my 50s, and I had such a pleasant experience at this Advance Auto Parts store that I felt compelled to leave a review. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly, welcoming staff who were more than happy to help. They were incredibly patient, took the time to listen to my concerns, and explained everything clearly without any pressure or condescension. That alone meant a lot to me. The store itself was clean, well organized, and fully stocked, which made finding what I needed easy and stress-free. The staff made sure I left feeling confident about my purchase and even offered helpful tips, which I truly appreciated. It’s refreshing to find a place where customer service still matters and where you’re treated with kindness and respect. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone—especially those who may not be car experts but want honest help and great service. I will definitely be returning!

This is my secomd buy online/pick up at local store transaction with this location (2520 Sandy Plains Rd). Both times it was smooth. Clerk was helpful and transaction was quick, order was correct. No complaints

Tried to get help with my car. Don’t talk to Paul. Horrible. Got my battery Installed there two days ago. Car stopped working wjen I was picking up my baby from school. We had to uber home with tje car seat. Called the store and one of the managers was nice to offer help to come next day to jump start the car. I called next morning to confirm je can still do that But another store manager Paul gave me attitude and said for me to come to store to buy a jump starter. How am I supposed to do that. I am a mom alone with my baby I would have to uber with my 10 month old to tje store And jump start the car alone. He offered no useful help and said have a nice day and hung up.

Every time I come to this store, I end up asking myself why I bothered returning. I have never had a pleasant experience here. It’s always a different employee—because they can’t seem to keep anyone—and each time the customer service is worse than the last. VIC, the so-called “manager,” clearly doesn’t know how to speak to customers, which is obvious if you read the other 1-star reviews. Save yourself the headache and go to a different location.(never have had and issue at any other) It’s a shame the Napa down the street closed, because this store is absolutely not it. Update went to a different advance was treated how a customer should be no questions asked warrantied my part. Like i said its only this location

Almost every time I’ve come here, the online store selection says they have something in stock and when I get there, they never do. Basic things like battery terminals and hoses. Completely waste of time and the employees are less than useless. I’ve just completely stopped going to this store for anything.

I sent my wife in to pick up a low-beam headlight bulb (H7) since one of ours was out. She said the employees were nice and even told her they installed it for her. But later that night, the light was out again. I ordered LED lights and installed them myself. When I removed the bulb, it was clearly an H7, but the receipt showed they charged her $51.99 for an H11, which our vehicle doesn’t even use. High beams are 9005 and low beams are H7, so the part on the receipt didn’t match anything on the car. It appeared she was charged for a bulb she never actually received. It was frustrating, especially since she trusted they fixed it. UPDATE: I went back today and spoke with the store manager. He was very professional and took the time to listen and fully resolve the issue. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate that he addressed the situation and made it right.

I had the pleasure of working with Vic this morning, he helped me find a good battery that was perfect for my car. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. A great experience overall ! I’ll definitely be back to shop with them again

The lady and gentleman in counter are real professional and truly serving customer. I was so harsh but they calmly solved my car problem. I was insisting to pay tips, but they didn't accept, I am impressed with these two. I will be back in this store for any needs for my truck. Thank you both of you. November 5th 2025 at 9:50 am.

I had a great experience at this location. Dre was extremely helpful and knew what he was doing! He assisted me in changing my car battery and made it a very seamless process. 10/10 customer service, I will be returning to this location for all my vehicle needs!

Don’t waste your time with this store. Go 10 minutes down the road to AutoZone. The associate kept mumbling under his breath at me until I realized he wasn’t talking to me. He had his personal phone propped against his computer doing a personal FaceTime call. Then he tried added stuff to the order making it seemed like it came with the battery and it was a separate charge without my permission. I ended up leaving and buy the parts at auto zone. It was cleaner the employee there actually felt like they cared about their jobs.

They have good sales when you can catch em. Wide variety of products I can't find at other stores. Sometimes things can be overpriced but availability rules over that. A couple of the employees didnt know their own products when asked. I had to look myself and they still had no idea what i was talking about when i asked about their k&n cold air intakes. Average auto store

DO NOT go this location. Came in today looking for electronics cleaner. Walked in and saw 3 guys: one sitting down on a chair looking at his phone, one looked like he was restocking, and a third guy wearing a hoodie that I’m pretty sure was just waking up, he even had eye buggers. None of the 3 even looked at me. I asked the guy in the hoodie if he knew when I could find the electronics cleaner and he looked at me for a few seconds and finally mumbled: I don’t know man. The guy that was stocking laughed but did not offer help. The third guy continued on his phone. It irritated because I’ve worked at advanced auto (another location) and this is not the service we used to provide. Save your frustrations and avoid this location. I’d give zero stars but google forces me to give at least one.

I was sold a battery and promised free installation. They were unable to install the battery so I had to take the car to a shop to install it who informed me it was the wrong battery. I attempted to return it and the person on duty said I could not get my money back. She said she wasn't going to give me my money back so I took my receipt back from her and she said I snatched it and told me to get out. This was a horrible experience. Advanced auto stole 270 from me. Don't go here!

Walked in earlier today with 6 studs that where the wrong size and tried to refund them or switch them to the correct size. very small purchase of less then 10 dollars. The gentlemen below who I didn't show his face took my receipt and started talking to me condescendingly and was really giving me a hard time in which I replied either take it back/exchange it or give me my receipt and I will be on my way. By the way he was doing a video conference with another person, while I was there, so I grabbed the receipt and took my items I brought in and the guy grabs my arm then proceeds to stop me from leaving the building and says you are forbidden from coming here again. I ignored him, walked around him thinking I'm almost 60 years old and this is how a customer service agent wants to act and be a bully to an older customer. I recommend the store owner watch the video and it will show it all.

For starters, they are the most incompetent employees ever. One smelled like marijuana. The other one looked like he didn’t care whatsoever to actually help a customer. Came into the store to do a simple return within the 45 day window and the man didn’t even attempt to help me whatsoever, rolled his eyes and pretty much told me there’s nothing he can do like I was a burden on his day that he actually had to do his job.

I went to Advance Auto parts in the morning because I noticed one of the lights on my Toyota Highlander was out. I wasn’t sure which one, but from past experiences at Autozone and Advancd Auto parts, the staff has always been super helpful and friendly. With that in mind, I went to the store expecting help. Instead Abigail who was working was huffing and puffing because I didn’t know the exact model of my car and then I didn’t know what color light I wanted. I didn’t even know there were different options I just asked for a replacement and also asked if she could check if the other lights were ok. Instead she just huffed and puffed and gave me so much attitude because I wasn’t knowledgeable about the lights of my car. She was so unpleasant and definitely didn’t seem grateful for her job. If she hates interacting with customers then find another job away from people bc she definitely is awful with customers. Also, she didn’t even offer to help with installing the light. Every time I’ve been in the past, they always offer and help with installation. Definitely avoiding her if I have to go back, but I would rather drive out of my way to another location if I have to interact with her again.

I had an experience with Abby, & the day time manager in which said he is the store manager. Both of them was very rude and I had purchased spark plugs, & spark plug wires in which I had gotten a life time warranty on two years prior. The day time manager was insisting on me to take off the spark plug wires in order to get the warranty and I told him that I couldn't do it like that. They are so rude and not knowledgeable to cars at all. This store needs to seriously get new employees if they want to keep it open. Also the day time manager that claimed he is the store manager was named Vince or maybe Vance. The service was unbelievable.

I went to an O’Reilly’ because my check engine light was on. The guy very reluctantly put the machine on to check what it was, they said it was an emission thing. I was freaking out, I didn’t know if I needed to get my Lexus 570 towed or what, it’s an expensive car, so I didn’t want to risk it. I decided to keep driving, saw Advanced auto; I stopped there and the guy was really willing to help me, he checked it, told me exactly what was wrong, my daughter put gas in the car and didn’t tighten the cap. He went to it and the light went off. I am so grateful, that he did that! I drove home very happy

Went there to buy a new battery for my wife’s Honda Odyssey. They had what I needed and did the install for me, as well as tested the alternator to make sure there were no further issues. The person who did the install did a great job and was very friendly.

Consistently closes 30 minutes early. Just got turned away when I pulled in the parking lot by a guy who proceeded to just stand around out front vaping on October 20th at ~8:05PM even though they're open until 8:30. This is a common occurrence at this location.

My FOB.was on its last bit of battery output. I stopped on my way to work. I was Shanquitta's second customer. She quickly found the needed battery. She completed the change out with professional service. I was glad to continue my day with full assurance because of a job done well.

Just got out of here. I will give them.1 point because a) they did have the stuff I needed and b);I waited too late to get to NAPA just down the road. The "sales associate" was careful to make sure ringing up my transaction didn't interfere with his texting session he had going on with his phone. Anytime business got in the way of socializing, that scanner just had to take a back seat. Just say "No" to $15 or more an hour minimum wage...

I came to this store to get headlight bulbs and a front parking bulb. The latter was the incorrect bulb. When I returned to the store to get the correct bulb the manager insisted the bulb sold to me was the correct bulb. Absolutely refused to even come outside to see the difference or try to get me the correct bulb. Absolutely disgusting behavior and needs some customer service training. Refused to refund money with a receipt or even exchange for store credit. I will NEVER use your store again. Zo and Jessica at the Canton Rd location were more than happy to help and find the right bulb for my truck.

This place is crazy. It’s closest to my house and I can’t tell you how many bad experiences we’ve had here. From the staff smelling like weed to them working on their cars on the side of the building and not pausing to unlock the door and let us in, to locking the door during lunch and not having a note on the door or anything when they would return. I get having low coverage, but god bless. When my fiancée called an hour later to ask if they were open, the associate had a sarcastic attitude about the whole thing. Hire clowns, get a circus.

Abigail was extremely helpful. She was the only attendant in the store today when I went in. I saw her take the time with multiple guests to provide excellent care. She went above and beyond even offering to jump my truck from her personal vehicle since there was no jump box in the store.

Before moving, I used to come here all the time for my oil, batteries, and miscellaneous car parts. Was in the area so decided to stop by for some oil for my mechanic to change it while he worked on my plugs. I went to the register to ask which oil they recommended, and the guy (some kid who was wearing big black stud earrings) said I should google it. I was shocked. Every other time coming here, they helped me with a similar ask. Not this time.

Purchased bulb for car, store associate gave me the wrong one. Returned it two days later for an exchange, manager refused to exchange it without a receipt. Bulb was purchased with a credit card, purchase shows up on bank statement, however in 2022 Advanced Auto parts is unable to look a receipt using a credit card.

The opener kept doors locked and ignored me and other customers for at least 20 minutes, I open in retail as well, not professional at all. If I could leave no stars I would, surprised this location is still open. Absolutely terrible and wouldn’t recommend coming here to anyone.
