Westrock recycling center is organized,convenient and clean.

Get here before 6 but not too much before 6. Theres one dock active and 2 docks with full trailers. The staff is very nice and friendly but one dock with a line of 10 trucks to be live unloaded is insane ive been here for 2 hours and ive moved forward one truck length with 4 trucks ahead of me and one in the dock update ive been here for 5 hours now I got here at 0620 and its 1130 now. I am still waiting for a dock

WestRock Recycling Center in Marietta is truly top-notch! Every visit is smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help with unloading or answering questions about materials. The facility itself is clean, well-organized, and runs like clockwork — a real testament to the pride they take in their work.

Nice people easy in and out process just really slow to load

It's clean, there's rarely a line, they take most recyclables, and it's hassle free!

If you don’t like wasting time, don’t accept a load from here—too slow.

Slow and poor quality loaders. My tandem weight was at 41k with them slid all the way back. Sure you can have them adjust the weight if you want to sit in line for another 3 hours.

Really great place to drive and drop off recycling, there should to be more of these all around the city!

FIRST TIME @ the Marietta location. Poor instructions. The yard jock said to go around the building. I went around the building and got stuck in mud. Most WestRock locations are easy in and easy out. Simple and understandable instructions. No issues.

The woman working in the scalehouse obviously doesn't like working here very much. she's got a horrible attitude

Love this place, always very organized and clean and no wait time usually. We bring mostly glass

Rude office personel ,the woman inside has a attitude out of this world and is short talking loud when talking to drivers,she seems stress out,And has personel issues.,other than that not a bad place to load from.

Drivers beware, this place gets in no hurry, I was first here and I've been waiting and watching 3 forklift operators unload 2 trucks and they act like we don't have a time schedule. Extremely slow and almost seem incoherent to the job. Get ready to sit awhile.

This facility is set up nicely. The glass bins do have glass all around them on the ground, so be very careful when you pull up to drop your glass off. In fact, I would park across the lot and just walk my bin over there!

I really want to give them 4stars but the wait time is the worst about this place. They’re nice ppl and have a simple check in process. I load here often and if you’re live loading be prepared to wait 2-4hr. Eat before you get there your 14 will definitely catch up with you

I've been visiting this place for the last couple of years to drop off most of my recycling needs. Mainly cardboard, plastic, glass. It's free to bring your things here. The best time to go is in the morning. I normally get there by 8am on my off days before it gets busy with everybody coming by to drop their things off and the bins get full. This is a place to consider if you don't want to pay for pick up at your house. This is an update 4/8/23 They 're doing some construction at the site and have minimal bins on site and a smaller area for parking. Updated pictures on 11/19/23

I am a semi truck driver and I pulled in to pick up a load of scrap paper. I arrived 5 minutes late due to all the heavy traffic in Atlanta (even as early as I left my previous destination and planned accordingly for the traffic). I asked the staff if I can park for my 10 hour break (I did not have enough time on my DOT clock to sit in Atlanta traffic) on their property (plenty of room) so I can pick up my delivery in the morning when they were open. The temperament of the staff immediately became rude and said absolutely “NO”. They couldn’t provide any reason why, they couldn’t provide any information of where I can park my tractor trailer for my 10 hour break for my required DOT rest break, and they kicked me off the property. Granted, I am a professional individual and did not argue or was rude in any way shape or form. I left the property and was stuck in ATL traffic and found no where to park for 2 1/2 hours later in which I went into a DOT violation. Unfortunately this is what truck drivers have to deal with. The shameful part is that ALL other Westrock locations provide parking for truck drivers who are making deliveries or shipping out their products. It’s an absolute shame that this Westrock can care less about truck drivers. Truck drivers are what makes this country, moved their product so everyone at that facility works and is able to provide for their families! Let’s get with the program Westrock!!! Take care of the truck drivers that take care of you!!!!

This drop off recycling program is a great service which they provide for Marietta, and seems to be getting better. Not quite 5 stars yet. They did recently tear down the dilapidated shack that was there, but the lot is still full of potholes and a muddy mess when it rains, and parking is haphazard .Hopefully, they are planning to repave the lot, then it would be 5 stars. UPDATE: I did increase the rating to 5 stars, as they have recently done a great job of paving the whole area, including where they tore down the old shack. No more potholes or muddy mess.

This place is an asset. I had a large amount of paper and was looking for some place to recycle it. I called around and one place to drop off charges $1 per pound. I was happy to come across WestRock Recycling. The only problem I had was that Google Maps sent me to the wrong area for drop off. I called and the lady (sorry I forgot her name) that assisted me was very nice and guided me to the correct location for drop off. The best thing about this place is that it's free. Thank you WestRock Recycling.

I LOVE that they recycle glass. That’s the main reason that I go there. I do wish that everyone would pay attention to what is and isn’t recyclable and to also put things in the proper containers AND to separate colored and clear glass!

They are slow but nice people ,come in go in office one at a time give your tr# company name pull on scale come around back sit and wait on forklift driver ,pull on around front get on scale pull of go get your paperwork done.

Easy to drop off recycling here. Would be cooler if it were open later. Cardboard and dust also fly around a lot with the wind and can make the place look really trashy. The run-down trailer also helps with that look. But they do take glass, so that's a plus.

The city no longer takes glass recycling. So odd as glass used to be the ultimate recyclable. This is the one place to take glass...and the bins are divided between clear and colored. They also take all other types of recyclable materials such as cardboard and aluminum cans. It is a small facility. Just drive up and do your bit for the planet

The public recycling entrance is at the stop light! Besides that slight confusion, everything here is easy to navigate and is clean. Also surprisingly doesnt smell like trash so that's a plus. They also sort the recycling for you (except glass) so it's super convenient

Great to have a place to drop off recycling in my area. I wish they could offer pick up service but this is the next best thing. I haven’t had any issues. I drop off my consolidated recycling in one bin and they go through and separate it. It’s very convenient. Since I can’t drop off plastic grocery bags, I just take them to Publix or a food pantry where I know they’ll be of some use.
