My husband had some mechanical issues while on a trip and had to stop here. He received great customer service. This is not a business about making money and over charging for something you don’t need. This business truly cares and have great, knowledgeable mechanics who won’t let you leave until they find the problem.

First let me say for the repair, I took my car there because I trusted their previous work. I am a ASE certified tech with 35 years exp, but don't have the equipment to program a Mercedes -----------------READ ENTIRE POST---------------- THEN DECIDE IF YOU WOULD TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I'm very unsatisfied with how they handled the repair and the lies that I KNOW were told about the issues. When I brought the car in I was told it would be about 125.00 to program my SAM unit..no problem. Then they called and said the fuse box caught fire., I don't understand how that happened.....but ok, some things are odd about cars, being a technician myself I understand sometimes things are not explainable.Was told the ignition switch caused the fire in the fuse box. So I bought a ignition switch, and repaired the fuse box myself. After i was told the switch was programmed I came back to put it in, trying to save as much money as I could. Yet again, i was told another issues came about, I was told they had to pull the switch out to REDO it. Ok so I figured maybe instead of 125.00 I would have to pay some extra....maybe 400 to 500. However when I got the bill it was over 1200.00, which i NEVER APPROVED now that's a large cry from 125.00. But I was assured the vehicle was driven and everything ,with a few exception air bag and abs, it drove good and was ready. I had my son loan me the money to get the car, but when he went and paid he wanted to drive the car off it would not start. Was told the battery was dead and had to be charged. I called the next day and told them I was coming to get it, Greg said something about water damage due to Cowl not installed. Greg told me to my face the car was parked inside for 3 weeks they only put it outside last week. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IS A LIE. I drove by Epic a few time over the last few weeks and it's been outside, even after they closed it was outside. Greg claimed the water damage happened due to the cowl. I saw water only on the driverside of car floor. Nothing on passenger side of floor, and when I drove it home the seat of my pants got soaked with water.... Explain to me if the cowl leaks water into the floorboard, how does the top of the seat get soaked and under the seat covers..IT DOESN'T. EXPLAINATION: someone at Epic left the window down and the car outside, and it rained inside the car. Greg, should have taken responsibility and admitted their mistake, instead after 1200.00 the car was not able to be driven no transmission shift at all...no windows...no door locks....no AC....dash fading in and out. I bought some connectors replaced them, dried it out now myself just to get the vehicle out of their parking lot, most everything works with exception of turn signals and wipers. I am checking those in the morning. Epic had a relay in parts , which was approx 30.00 , also charged for 3 keys but only gave me 1, the rest was labor...everything else I provided and installed myself. I feel they should refund a percentage of the fee to cover THEIR MISTAKE which I HAD TO CORRECT to actually get the car in a condition to be able to drive. Honestly answer yourself, would you pay 1200.00 for a repair of a vehicle that you drove to a shop with only a transmission not shifting out of low gear..... to get it back with the following not working. Power door locks Power windows Wipers Headlights Dash fading in and out A/C not working Transmission not even attempting to engage Interior light not working Turn signals not working. Hazards not working. Consistent drain on battery I though he was honest and trustworthy, yet I see now he's one of the most dishonest people in the industry, and his knowledge is on par of a mechanic not a technician. He could not even diagnose a blown/missing fuse just stated it's a common problem. A technician would take responsibility for their mistake and fix it, not give you back your car in worse shape and blame you for the problem After getting the car home,it wont start vehicle doesn't recognize the key, which EPIC programmed. 2 times

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! The owner Greg and his front desk rep are literally the most unprofessional people. I've been taking my car here for several years and had a great experience when the previous "knowledgeable" front desk rep "Chris" was employed at this location. However, Chris is no longer working at this automotive shop and you can tell cause the level of professionalism has gone down the drain. The front desk rep is unknowledgable about foreign cars and her tone when she speaks is unprofessional (as if she is speaking to a child). Greg, doesn't return phone calls nor do they send the documentation you request in a timely manner. When you call to further inquire they lie and act as if they responded only not to be able to provide proof that they actually did via email or otherwise. The dealership rate on an oil change is far less than their rate, so do your research and take your car to the dealership maker. These folks have to research as they go and it takes them weeks to complete simple research on the cost of OEM parts....because 1. The front desk is not knowledgeable and 2. the owner is working on cars and often doesn't bother to respond for weeks. He will then blame you for not being patient with his unconventional business practices. Go elsewhere if you value professionalism, timely service, and competitive pricing. Update: In response to Greg's ( the owner) response, as you can see unprofessional behavior is profound at this auto repair facility. His wife has only sent me a quote once since she took over the front desk (about a 1.5 yrs now) and it was clearly only for an oil change. Yes, he is correct he asked me to send him pictures of my car so he could sent me a valid quote (3 weeks ago), however he never sent the quote and does not have proof that he did although he argues differently. Point is, I, (like any other consumer) am an informed consumer. I want to know what I am paying for, what the warranty is, and how long the repair will take prior to taking my car in. I don't expect anything for free and have no problem paying....he can't argue that he has or ever has had any open tickets from me. His wife is rude, unknowledgable, and can't answer simple questions...he called me to argue rather than address the fact that I had not received the estimate 2 days ago and it's useless to sit on the phone and ask his wife anything because she operates strictly an answering service. When he called me back, he still (after 3 weeks had no estimate)...and acted as if I was rude to his wife. When is asking for what you initially requested rude? So he proceeds to tell me his policies....as if I work for him. I let him know that MY policy is professionalism, responsiveness, and courteous communication. I have no problem spending money for excellent service and FIRED HIM as my mechanic BEFORE WE GOT OFF THE PHONE. Funny how he wants to act like he told me otherwise. I have no more time to waste with his or his wife's nonsense and inability to service a good paying customer. He even admitted that he can't compete with dealership pricing....so why take your car there? His willingness to argue with a client versus trying to fix any miscommunication is overtly proof that considering this business for your next service or repair of your vehicle is ludacris.

Greg was an absolute angel. Greg and his wife took great care of me and my vehicle while I needed it fixed. they were honest about pricing and they did not overcharge for labor. he was genuinely concerned about the operation of my vehicle because I have a young child so he made sure to take the vehicle a lot sooner than he originally planned to. He got it fixed within the weekend which was excellent and communication was fantastic as well all around, I would recommend him for your next mechanic need.

I have been going to epic automotive for years. Greg is a fantastic mechanic, very knowledgeable with all your German car needs. They also have a fantastic detail shop. They have color corrected all of my cars throughout the years with fantastic results! Can’t recommend them enough! They took care of my very scratched up model S and most recently made my Taycan shine like it has never shined before!

Out of town with my Mini Cooper. Needed service and wanted to find a trustworthy place. Chris explained the diagnostic was required and assured me my car would be taken care of. I was more than pleased with the outcome and the professional service. They even finished sooner than expected. Highly recommended this business.

AMAZING,,,AMAZING,,,,,,AMAZING,,,,,,,, Greg is totally amazing, his repair shop deserves ten stars. He fixed my Mercedes C300 starter and engine mounts that another repair shop ruined. I also needed my steering column fixed and reprogrammed because it had locked up, and unable to start. Epic Auto Repair was also very fair in my repair cost for both issues my car had. Greg and his shop guys are very kind, friendly, professional men who kept me informed of all repairs every step of the way. I would recommend Epic Auto Repair to anyone who wants EXCELLENT car repairs without being ripped off, Greg is your go to guy. I’m a happy satisfied customer. THANKS EPIC AUTO REPAIR!

I want to share my EPIC moment I experienced at this one of a kind Trustworthy mechanic shop.. These Guys are not about ripping you off nor money hungry their main agenda is for not wasting your quality time on the turnarounds and unwanted services that you don't need and fixing what needs attention that best fits your needs. I call this my cars doctor office. Prior to visiting my New cars doctor office I went to a well known European certified shop and the ran their handy code reader and stated my cars performance was poor and my turbos needed to be replaced. I wanted a second opinion before I just spit out my hard earned money and also at this point I wanted the best deal on installation for twin turbos.. So I went to Epic Automotive and requested my car needs attention as my check engine light was on and I need turbos. The owner Greg was like wait before you spend money on turbos let's diagnose the problem( sickness) and find the solution (cure). The words in (-) are my metaphors. So we are clear. I scheduled my car for the diagnostic which was convenIENT for me and got the outcome within a few hours.. Greg the owner called me back and said he found the issue I needed a pipe replace that was leaking around the connection to the turbos the pipe due to normal where in tear and inner coolant pipe where he orderd from BMW. That's why the performance was poor and check engine light was on.. I told him I need my car back because of 4th of July weekend .. I then scheduled a time with Chris who is also a certified well knowledgeable guy on Greg's staff and set a time up for installation when the part came in which was there on Tuesday July 5th. After installation Greg the owner offered to drive with me to make sure i was satisfied and check on the performance.. He actually drove with me .. Where the heLL does this happen.no where but it did at Epic Automotive. That took my experience to the next level.. Top of the class. Team epic I trust you like my family doctor and THANK you for curing my cars sickness and making it fun to drive my 2010 535i BMW.. I AM A CUSTOMER (PATIENT) FOR LIFE AND I WILL BE PURCHASING ANOTHER BMW With A PEACE OF MIND AS IM CONFIDENT ON MY FUTURE INVESTMENT AS I KNOW. Epic Auto recently completed a full engine out replacement due to bottom end engine failure on my 2011 VW CC 2.0T. Shop owner (Greg) and staff (Chris) were transparent on 1. Cost, 2. Leadtimes, and 3. Covered services with the engine replacement. The shop was timely in notification of each step in the process and was helpful in the acquiring of parts and replacement parts. They completed the following work: - Engine replacement - An engine timing service on the donor engine (separate from engine replacement cost) - Basic diagnostic tests on the donor engine to confirm condition - Verified condition of the bolt ons being transferred to to donor engine - AC recharge - Oil change No work was performed by the shop without prepayment for parts or approval of work, via their online portal. Once work was completed, pickup notification was prompt and vehicle was in expected condition (interior and exterior). No CEL lights or other additional lights were present post engine replacement. At the time of the review I have put 1.5k miles on the donor engine, with no mechanical or workmanship related issues. I have and will continue to recommend Epic Auto for vehicle services, for both simple and complex repairs.

Greg and staff are the best. They clearly explain what your car needs and why. They don’t pressure you to do any work but will tell you what is critical. Chris keeps me posted on what is happening with my vehicle while it’s there and they will bend over backwards to get my vehicle back as quickly as possible. I have no need to take my vehicle anywhere else because I know they have my best interests in mind when they work on my vehicle. If you want to work with honest people who take care of you and your vehicle then Epic is the place you want to go.

I have been going to Epic for a few years. Greg is a great mechanic and he is always willing to talk to you and explain things. These guys take excellent care of all my vehicles. I recommend them to anyone that needs a good mechanic.

The best car repair experience I’ve ever had!!! Friendly service! Clean building! I brought my car in because I was having misfires. They diagnosed and found the problem quickly. Most importantly the entire staff was positive and thorough in the assessment in what it would take to get my Audi A6 fixed. My car runs incredible!!! I highly recommend Greg and Greg and the rest of Team Epic Automotive!!!

What a fantastic shop to do business with!! Greg and his staff are very knowledgeable, fair and consistent. While I did not like to hear that I needed a new transmission, Greg made it as painless and it could have been. They will always give you options but offer their expert opinion and advice without being pushy. You will also not find ANY of the attitude that I have found when dealing with the BMW dealership! Greg truly enjoys what he does and it shows!! If my car needs service..... Epic is the only place!

Greg and Epic Automotive are fantastic. Took my BMW to someone else to get it fixed, and it ended up coming back worse than before! I was directed to Greg by a coworker, took my car there, and Greg had it properly diagnosed and fixed in a few days. Price was very reasonable and Greg took the time to explain what was going on and what he had to do to fix it. It's working perfectly now. Thanks again for the excellent service! I am not one to write many reviews but I felt it was imperative to let others know of the care and knowledge of the staff and the high quality of service at Epic Automotive. There is never a good time to have car trouble, but Greg was accommodating, compassionate and kept me informed while parts were being ordered and repairs were behind made. Based on the make, model, and mechanical problem, the parts took a few weeks to come in, and the shop kept my vehicle while waiting on the required part components. My car has been completely repaired and I am a highly satisfied customer. I can guarantee I will return to them for future services.

I don't have an imported car, but Greg and his wife still take care of me! I go here for my routine oil change, and Greg is great about providing details on preventative care. When I went to Toyota in the past, they take forever and don't give any details. I will continue to go to Epic! The wait, and $, is well worth the quality of service.

I can't say enough about Greg and Epic Automotive. He's the mechanic everyone hopes to find. He goes above the call of duty and made me (a new customer) feel as if we had a 20 year history together. If you own a BMW and live in Georgia, then go to Epic Automotive for your car service. Greg knows more about BMWs than any mechanic in the area, and he charges fair prices for parts and labor. I interviewed countless mechanics before I met Greg, and I was disappointed every time. I live in Johns Creek--nearly an hour away from Epic's location--but I will always turn to Epic Automotive because the quality and care of their steadfast labor significantly outweighs the longer commute. If know anything about cars, particularly German manufactured vehicles, then I strongly encourage you to take a chance on Epic Automotive. You will be highly satisfied and you will establish a mechanic for life in Greg Benton.

I wholeheartedly recommend Greg. I started using him with my diesel because the dealer could not fix its glow plugs' habitual failure (unfortunately after years of taking it back every six months). To this end, the dealer would just replace the glow plugs, while Greg analyzed and fixed the problem so they no longer fail. I now use him with repair and maintenance on my other car. You will find Greg is an old school mechanic in the truest sense - fair prices, detailed explanations and old fashioned service.

Over the years, I've brought my Audi to several mechanics and "Audi Specialists." but never been satisfied. Epic was recommended to me by a friend who owned a BMW, so the next time I needed service I tried Epic. When you go to Epic, you speak with an owner who also happens to be a Master Mechanic. Greg takes the time to listen and takes his time diagnosing issues. He methodically explains what needs to be done and if available, offers used and refurbished options for parts, which can save a ton of cash. I would never take my Audi to anyone else!

I trust very few people with my cars, but, Greg's knowledge, customer service, and intuitive approach he handles each situation, makes my decision easy when I require any work needing to be performed.
