Office staff are rude for some reason when collecting payment and payments aren't worth materials you bring them. I'd seek services elsewhere.

Gets better and better every visit. The right People with the right clearly motivated intentions to help you understand how it is measured and processed easily. Thanks.

Hands down the best prices for your scrap and the best staff and management. I've been a customer for 5 years now and really love the girl at the the weigh in booth. She is always kind and professional. A true asset to the business. And the guys inside at weigh in for additional metal are great! I wish they all would have name tags do I could recognize those who truly make a difference and make S&A the best of the best.

This recycling place is horrible!!!! Don’t come here the customer service is rude, my first time here and I was trying to figure out where to go and no one helped me out. I was trying to look for the rest room and accidentally when inside the building and some racist guy told me your not allowed back here and physically put his hands on me. Shoving me out the door. Unprofessionalism.

TRUCK DRIVERS!! If you have a 53 ft trailer do not go thru loudermilk dr, there are railroad tracks and you might get stock. When I went to shipper I went thru them and no issues cause I was empty. When they loaded me I went back thru them and my trailer leg got stuck and ripped off completely. Luckily I didn’t get stuck in the tracks but now am looking at nearly $3500 for this fix because it damage my cross members also. Make a LEFT as soon as you leave the shipper. SHIPPER well NOT tell you this!! I gave it 3 stars because the people at shipper are nice and probably don’t even know about this issue

They underprice your copper. They feel like you have no knowledge of the copper so they underpay i you ou. You can take your scrape to another scrape yard. Then take the scrape to S and A. You will get to totally different prices Accept my challenge

This was my first time here and I had no idea where to go with a truck full of old appliances. The staff were friendly and helpful; even the guys running the big equipment out back gave me directions so I ended up in the right spot, safely. Highly recommend!

They offered me $3 for my catalytic converter because it was "aftermarket", yet they quoted me $80 over the phone. I had the receipt for the replacement converter, proof of vehicle ownership, etc, and the converter still had all of it's substrate. They obviously have the right as a business to make an offer that low, but c'mon $3? You're telling me a converter isn't even worth a gallon of gasoline? One of the employees even told me I should go somewhere else after hearing the offer of $3. With all due respect, the employees were friendly, but I'll never be going back there.

Went specifically to sell my used Catalytic Converter and trailer full of scrap metals- - Local, fast in and out, fair price for scrap compared to 2 others, !!however,!! much difficulty recieved in trying to sell my catylitic converter- i had my tax i.d. , my biz license, photo i.d. and reciept of purchase for new unit. Two of the staff seemed more interested in shutting me down/refusal to help rather than helping.... I asked to speak to mgr to help correct my mistake? Waited 30mins,no one (im sure they r very busy tho) so left with my converter.

My experience here was great! The men employees helped me to get heavy items off my truck and carried them to weigh station. They are very friendly as well as courteous and professional. That's a winning hand at any business! Women won't find it hard to do business alone here! My second time going here and will patronize them again and again!

The girls taking your recycled product(s) and paying or cutting your check are very nice. It's confusing where the entrance is so we had to call when we arrived. Overall it was worth the effort to drop off my items.

Once we figured out how everything works it was great. We have rental property and have to remove stuff that folks decide to donate. MRC is very fair on pricing, we've received far less for more steel and Aluminum from competitors and I recommend them.

Called in the morning for prices on material I was handling at that time. Was told a certain price for the item I had and when I got there they paid me less per lb then what they told me. They said and I quote oh well we paid you more then anyone else when they paid me less that what I was quoted. All this place does is try to rip you off.. I will never go back there again.

S A does all our recycling needs. The service is great and we couldn’t ask for a better representative other than Chris Petty! Chris is always helpful, ready to answer any questions, and very knowledgeable about the business! He Always has your best interest in mind.

Beware!! They quote one price over the phone - then the price is substantially less AFTER the scrap is unloaded. And make time afterwards to get your tires patched..... nails, screws, scrap metal everywhere that you drive. Very poorly run company. They got me once - they won't get me again. You've been warned!!

I have been scrapping from many years I have never been to scrap yard where they pay two different prices for the same thing. Actually three different prices aluminum condensers 100% aluminum $0.19 a pound aluminum clean aluminum $0.23 a pound aluminum wheels $0.34 a pound it's all aluminum 100% aluminum and it pay different prices for so you tell me are they on the up-and-up I've been going there for years there under new ownership I will not go backl.

It wouldn't be very nice if you would go ahead and put on your website that you close at 4 now and Fridays instead of 4:45. I've been coming here for many many years and it's kind of a letdown some of the changes you guys have been doing. I'm not one that scared of change either

I come here several times a year and never had the first problem. I had some wiring in my recycle and one of the guys told me if I separate it I would get more money. The honesty was appreciated. I find everyone here very helpful.

I just need to post about this amazing experience!! I have gone to other yards previously and this one by far was the absolute cleanest. I tried out marietta recycling but so glad I choose SA recycling. I had the greatest pleasure meeting the general manager Darrica who was super knowledgeable about the material and very friendly took her time with us and everything. Not to mention prices were AMAZING!!!! No question no doubt about it I will be coming back !!!! Thank you SA recycling for the great experience for my husband and I !!!!

Been using this place for years, used to be great place to do business with, however unfortunately they have become a typical scrap yard trying to be dishonest to make a buck. Educate yourself about scraping online before going, (google how not to get scammed at the scrap yard) especially if you have trailer loads and the amount is well over a few hundred bucks. Had issues for about the last 8-10 months with this place and have observed things that bothered me and won’t be returning. Don’t be stupid! They have been saying their scales don’t work and given numerous BS unicorn stories, the most recent was lightning struck it and it hasn’t been fixed. Well it hasn’t worked the last 5 times and I’ve been given two different excuses. If they scammed each person out of few hundred pounds in scrap the numbers add up. And watch the boys inside that weigh your stuff. They act like the money is comming out of their own pocket. Please if you have encountered something questionable at this place post it here so we can all read about it and form our own opinions. Just found out this evening that the department of agriculture is supposed to inspect scales at scrap yards. Will be following up with them next week on my vacation just out of curiosity and to raise awareness and tell what I have experienced and I encourage anyone else to call and report issues to them as well.

If its your first time here go to the office to receive your customer number and card. You must have a valid id. After that recycling is a breeze! If you have metal only drive on to the scale to be weighed in, then simply drive around to unload, someone will guide you to desired drop spot, then drive out to scale to weigh empty load. Then get your check at the office. If you're recycling copper, aluminum, stainless, brass or other non ferrous metals drive through the gate and unload in bins.

I visited Newell Recycling several times last week and was very impressed. Jamir and the rest of the guys in the drop off portion of the facility were very friendly, efficient and attentive. The young ladies on the inside were also very friendly and efficient as well. This is a well-run company, and if you have any recycling needs, I highly recommend them.

Not sure what’s up with their scales. I went twice same car same trailer, different loads. And I tbeycpaid me the same both times. Exactly the same both time with different weights. I know for a fact the second time I had double the amount of steel.

I wasn't at all impressed with my first and last visit to Newell Recycling in Marietta. The front entrance was locked so I had to find someone who worked there to ask where I needed to go to have my aluminum weighed in. I pulled around to the rear, got out of my truck and waited for one of the three personnel working to let me know who could help me. Two staff were working with one customer and the other was on his cellphone. The only reason I knew I was being processed was because one of the staff took my box and dumped it into a larger bin. I wasn't given an opportunity to verify the weight before my aluminum was dumped into the larger bin (with other metals) so I had no choose but to trust it was accurate because I no longer have the option of taking it somewhere else. Then to add insult to injury, one worker mumbled something under his breathe, they laugh then ask me to sign my receipt. I signed it, then he said you didn't read the receipt, "now I own your car." I wasn't consenting to brain surgery and I really didn't appreciate being treated like past time entertainment rather than a consumer. I guess professionalism and customer service is not required in the recycling business.

This recycling facility has far exceeded my expectations for the greater Atlanta area. You come, weigh in, hand over your driver's license, and unload. They provide a check after you weigh out. The women who work in the window are very sweet and genuine. And there was one specific employee, named Chris Austin, who was so helpful and kind. Before I told him I was new to the place he was constantly offering help to unload my scrap metal. I had a large go cart frame which must have weighed over 200 pounds and he did not hesitate to come from the top platform to bring it down for me. Anytime I've had a different type of metal (other than steel) he had has helped me to learn to identify it and he sorted it out so I could receive more pay for higher dollar metals. He was always smiling and very accommodating for someone like me who doesn't have very much upper body strength. Thank you to Chris and Newell Recycling, I will be back many times for many more pleasant experiences making some part time income. Love this place!!
