Make sure to ask them ahead of time how much they pay per pound of material.
I was given half of what i get from other buyers and the transaction was done behind the wall. No way to see the scale or tare weight of the containers.
It's hard to miss the entrance because it's before the building. You're going to want to turn right immediately after the red building and drive in the back. They take aluminum cans, but NOT food cans (only drink cans). Friendly staff. Got about $8 for 1 trash bags worth of non- crushed soda cans. I saw that it was normally busy, but lucky for me no one was there unloading. They send you around to the front to collect payment, there was no one up front, I assumed they were in the bathroom, but the driver of the lift came back and got them out of the side room and got me the cash. Worth the wait if you have scrap. They don't take cars (sign on front).
I've been coming here since 2011 and they've always gave me good services,and now my husband goes here and they've always given us a better pay deal then the M & M Recycling Center located downtown city of Austell who are alway's rips people off and not give anybody the right amount of money that the scrap they bring in. I WOULD HAE TO GIVE RECYCLING•R•RESOURCES 100 KUDOS
I went back to this business against my better judgment. Last time they were super busy and took forever I ended up leaving. Here's the bad part they had only one customer. (You can't make this stuff up) this time I had copper, they took my copper in the back told me to go inside to wait where someone else was also waiting. Then they come out with cash. Didn't let me see them weigh it, didn't tell me how much they weighed, didn't tell me the price they are paying per pound. I guess Im supposed to trust them.. This was surprising because I had been to this location a little over a year before and it was the exact opposite I was able to watch them weigh it they told me what they paid per pound etc. I guess you could say I should have asked. They caught me on the right day. Because I do plumbing work, and have plenty of scrap copper all the time, I decided just to not do business with them anymore.
This business is very unpredictable. The days and hours they post mean pretty much nothing because they come and go as they please. The time it takes to go through is long and frankly, they're not very friendly, punctual or organized. A business should serve the community it is in and it's patrons should be able to count on it. This business doesn't provide a dependable service nor does it pay as well as other recycling services such as ABC on Cobb Parkway.
we have done business with these people for many years and have found them to be very professional especially in making sure we as an individual and company have the right to bring our particular type of salvage to them I feel reassured knowing they will not accept salvage unless you prove it is yours to salvage they have me and my company name etc. on file and have always dealt with us fairly
I have done business with this group for over 20 years. I feel that they are very honest in their dealings. I used to deal with just any recycler, but I always felt I was dealing with dishonest people. Rick and the rest of the guys have always been courteous, and usually I leave with more money than I thought I had brought in.
