I have mixed reviews about this place. They do a great job once you get in there. They’re terrible about answering any phone calls or replying to any voicemails or replying to emails for that matter but like I said once you get in there, the customer service is wonderful and extremely fast service.

State certified private inspection is a quick way to get an auto inspection done. They don't have an appointment system. So you have to take your chance and get there early since they close at 3pm. I got there around 10am on a Tuesday and it was solid booked for the day. I was disappointed but the kind lady at the front offered me to leave the vehicle overnight in their parking lot with a sticker display for next day inspection. Wednesday morning it was completed and got my vehicle after office hours with the key in a lock box. Overall it was a good experience with this inspection shop.

Professional and Quick,I'd also recommend the location to do your inspection.theyre helpful and respectful and don't try to give a hard time like some of the other places I've been .

I was registering a car in GA that already had a REBUILD title from out of state. AMP website did a great job of detailing the information needed for a smooth check-in and setting the expectations for what they look for and what's needed for a solid pass. Had a great experience at AMP. First time getting a salvage inspection and they were extremely patient and understanding. I was extremely anxious due to my specialized vehicle but the professionalism put me at ease. 5/5 easy. Would highly recommend.

My first time trying to register a salvage title motorcycle I had many questions. I always had a response to my email within an hour. The actual inspection took only 15 minutes.

I took my 2023 maverick. The bomper has been replaced by body mechanic shop, the lady insisting that I fixed my self even though she has the receipt of fixing it, she denied thing who fix it. Her complaints was about cleaning the bonds on the fixing. She failed my truck anyway. My question how is bondos can be safety hazardous on the road. No explanation, where to fix it very quick, how to fix it. They have mechanic shop. I think I went to the wrong place. I hope the state their license a way for inspection. This my bad experience with this shop. Thank you

Very professional and responsive. Online appointment system is very efficient. Although i had to reschedule, they not only responded instantly, yet were still able to inspect my car as a walk-in far sooner than their next available date. Initially contacted another inspection station near me (not AMP) and it took them a week to call back. These guys are serious. Great experience!

I have not been to this establishment but was doing research on a few things, this type of business would be in my realm of needed services. Just reading the reviews was enough for me. The most ironic reviews were the negative ones, which confirmed the professionalism and integrity of the business. A failed inspection is most likely an extra life. If the vehicle is unsafe I don’t want it on the road with me. Keep up the good work. If I need this service in the future I know where I am going. ( hope I don’t fail 😂)

The inspection process overall is complicated and hard to navigate, but the folks at AMP did all they could to simplify it for me. I really appreciate all what they did. Removing a star only because of their early close time, but after thinking about it and the constraints that the State of Georgia puts into this industry, I can hardly blame them.

So I have had 2 GREAT EXPERIENCES with Stephanie the manager at this location….AND I HAVEN’T EVEN HAD MY CAR INSPECTED YET! My first experience was just through a phone call to find out how this process works with getting a rebuilt title. She walked me through the process and told me all of the forms I was going to need. She also directed me to her website where they have all of that information as well. She verbally walked me through this process and told me what was going to take place. My latest experience, which was today. I walked in to see if I can get an appointment for today, I just so happen to be over in the Marietta area. Stephanie notices that I have my paperwork with me, and she asked to see it. She proceeded to go through all my paperwork and put it in order and paper clip it together for when I come in for my appointment next Monday. To the owner of this company, Your employee, Stephanie is invaluable to you. I’m sure you already know this, but it’s always nice to read it and hear it. I hope you will take the time to appreciate her. As much as she appreciates your business, she treats it as if it’s her own. For my inspection next Monday at 8 AM I will be driving past a couple different options I could’ve used, but I chose your business because of Stephanie.

Incredibly efficient service to help with a very convoluted process. They make sure you know exactly what documents you need to bring, when/where to drop it off, and the online appointment tool makes it very simple. Both the people at the desk that I spoke to were very friendly. Had my car finished in less than half the time expected. Would recommend this place to anyone. Those putting bad reviews must not have had their proper paperwork!

These folks were super efficient, professional and very helpful. I had a complicated situation with a vehicle I bought that was wrecked, partially restored and resold to me on a salvage title which I knew very little about. All I knew was I had to get a state certified inspection and these guys were definitely the right choice. The inspection is generally the first step. Next was a trip downtown to the title office. AMP actually got my paperwork in a very specific order to ensure that I actually walk in, walk out without any hangups at the title office. They seemed very focused on no wasted trips downtown and that's something you can't put a pricetag on. Thank you AMP

I had a bad experience with them twice. They’re the only ones who take walk ins but when you come in at 6:55am as a walk in they have an attitude about not having an appointment. The inspector isn’t a mechanic obviously so he looked at the suspension on my new vehicle and said it was new and I need receipts for the suspension. The car was just newer and didn’t need any suspension replacement and he said he wasn’t going to argue and didn’t care about what I had to say. He obviously isn’t mechanically inclined which is why he said he just looks and writes down what he sees. I went to another inspection shop and explained and was passed the same day. Very bad by amp auto. They don’t even own the lot so you can’t drop off before hand even if you did have an appointment. They obviously have a towing issue on the lot and tell you you’re subject to tow if the vehicle isn’t picked up same day. Very bad experience with this location.

I was not a fan of having to go and have to spend money to have my motorcycle inspected but these guys were great. I made an appointment, dropped my bike off and they sent me a text message when it was time for me to come pick it up. My paperwork was in order and I was in an out. I appreciate the efficiency and professionalism. Thank you for answering my questions.

Awesome experience! Lovely people to interact with and extremely knowledgeable. This has been the easiest part of this whole registration process! Start-to- finish they made things clear to understand and patiently answered the couple questions I had.

I cannot believe how smooth the whole process was. They are here to do everything they can to help you get through the inspection process, especially Stephanie who was extremely understanding and helpful as I had to reschedule my appointment due to covid. I'm so grateful that I chose their services for my motorcycle inspection. Extremely professional and their website spells everything out that you require for the day. I recommend to anyone and everyone who need their vehicle inspected.

If there were more starts I would truly give it to them. These are the nicest people to work with, They went above and beyond to help me during my inspection. I asked a LOT of questions when my car failed its inspection and they were patient enough with me to explain what failed as well as why it failed. Part of the reasons I failed was dure to missing documents/photo and the sweet lady in the office was able to go online and download them for me (as I said this was just a minor part in how they helped me). I must confess I have never gotten such good customer service nor help from any other business since moving to GA. I can not say THANK YOU enough.

Can I give 6 Stars !! 7 Stars !! The team at AMP is super friendly and professional, from the Website impression to the phone to the welcoming attitude when you enter the building. They spell everything out for you step by step. Stephanie was especially helpful as I was starting the process, but again the whole team was Excellent !!

I don't know why I was expecting the process and the people to be very cold, curt, and chaotic but MIKE was SO NICE! He actually takes the time to go over paperwork with you to make sure everything is filled out correctly! He even put his mask on when he saw that I had my mask on! I'm so happy with the service and I passed my inspection!! I wish I knew more people to send their way!!

Owner worked as fluidly as he could but was overloaded as I think several customers showed without appointments. Owner still worked very hard to service everyone, which caused delays for those of us with appointments. Still, owner remained professional and worked as quickly as he could, including running between his office and service area. There was an unexpected $25 charge for having to complete a single form so be sure to have all of your forms completed in advance to avoid the extra and unnecessary $25 fee.

This inspection place is absolutely amazing. The best service ever! Wish I could give this place 12 stars. It's extremely difficult to find the services this couple offered. I had bought a car from copart , went to AMP 4 times and was treated with the utmost respect. The car finally passed the inspections, I dropped off the documents at Department of Revenue for rebuild title. Revenue mailed back the documents because of incompetence. I took my frustration to AMP inspections, Mike and his wife went through the documents thoroughly, build my confidence, told me to go to Revenue in person, which I did and everything worked out well. I strongly recommend this place to anyone doing vehicle inspections, visit this place and you'll see what am talking about. Thanks Mr & Mrs Mike, very professional, job well done.

Highly recommend AMP Auto! Being new to Georgia I had so many questions about my car, the process and what to expect. The website is extremely informative but what made the process run even smoother was Stephanie. With all the questions I had, she always provided me with a solution and was very pleasant.
