What clients say about Georgetown Flea Market in Washington (DC)

Pretty good flea market, variety of prices. Dan Klein 81 is a smarmy jerk but has good prices on silver jewelry. Scored big time at Kevin Vivar Guzman’s booth. He’s a real nice guy and has probably the best curation of men’s vintage clothing and shoes in DC, highly recommend.

Love the gt flea but some vendors are rude and annoying for no reason just like that one old crazy guy who got mad bc we didnt put his lame old record player discs wrong in the right place into the box like wth but anyways .. LOVE THE GT FLEAAA

Very nice local flea market, not spatial though. Mostly antique collections.

All overpriced goods marketed towards kids with rich parent money. You can’t even walk and look at things as there’s giant hurdles of people stepping on the back of your shoe the whole time. Very stressful environment and not worth it.

A must visit for rare finds. It's the premier Flea Market in the DMV! Most vendors are there from 5 A.M. until 5 P.M. DON'T MISS IT!!!

Incredibly interesting flea if you have nothing to do on a Sunday. It is a fairly large flea with a multitude of vendors. Mind you, the prices may be a little higher than other fleas, but keep in mind that it is in DC.

Fun experience lots of different items; prices are fair. Lots of clothing, jewelry and antiques. Ended up buying an old carriage lamp from the 1920’s and some coins. Vendors all seem to know each other. Friendly and lots of stuff to look at! Lots of different and vintage, license plates to china to brochettes. Cool place to browse and take time with.

If you seek preloved signature clothing there is plenty for you to choose from, if you are late teen to late 20s, the antiques & collectibles sellers are not willing to deal for the most part because their prices are already cut bone deep or so they will tell you anyway, I walked in w/ 200usd in cash & walked back out with the same amount still in my pocket.

Best flea market or town. It’s always a vibe and there are so many vendors. Best to thrift at with many good finds but some vendors can be quite expensive. They always got good trinkets and many options.

Love this flea market... great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I really like this smaller flea market. Tips ...walk around and see everyone before buying anything. Some of vendors vary a lot in prices. Normally the ones up front want $40 for something that someone else might sell you for $12. Very sweet Chinese lady is awesome always buy from her. Beware of vendors that switch prices I was told a ring was $35 I went back a few minutes later to offer $30 the crazy lady had it at $50...I definitely walked away. Later in afternoon vendors are more desperate to sell and will sometimes lower prices. Morning is normal higher prices. Best time is 2pm to 4pm.

One of the best classic Flea markets in the DMV! Always packed so come early!

This is one of the few flea markets left in DC that sells antiques, vintage and one of a kind items. I love artisan wares and they can be found more at Eastern Market but this market feels more like going to garage sales. Make sure you go down the alley and around the back of the school for more vendors

Watch vendor Kim Vincent Dao will SCAM YOU. He originally told me a watch cost over $400 because it was 14k gold. I showed him that it was 10k gold filled. He immediately dropped the price to $180. I said the watch battery needs to be changed. He said, it's a Hamilton, it never dies. I payed him $165 and sure enough, the watch time is slow. Posting this so others can hopefully avoid being scammed.

This flea market has something for everyone. I’ve bought a couple of books and a beautiful ring and my little girl bought some marbles. There was one seller selling, homemade cake Yum! The fashion and the art were everywhere and there were even individuals there selling coffee beverages.

Great Sunday stop in Georgetown. There are plenty of things to see and purchase if you're into thrifting and vintage items. One of my favorite vendors, Sekou, has an amazing selection of vintage clothing. If you're in the area, go check it out.

Be careful for what you buy. Some look like antique goods but they are actually not. For that I'm talking about jewelry/ brooch etc and some Asian arts/ goods (mostly China and Japan, maybe from 40-50 years ago but NOT worth the price). We found one stand we really like where two guys are selling real antique things from paintings, vases, posters to all kinds of small decorations. They are at the other corner of the market.

Very great stuff !!! Very crowded, a little crammed tho but you’ll get some great finds. It’s good for visitors but more of a locally-geared place. Genuine flea market

Great place for curated vintage clothing, art, glassware, and jewelry. It is kind of far out there in Georgetown and a bit of a pain to get to, but I’d definitely say it’s worth it to check out. Be aware on hot days, it’s mostly in direct sunlight and can get really hot in the parking lot

Second hand clothes, mostly for young men and women. Apparently they are here every Sunday . We came here in the morning and it’s very busy and crowded

The Georgetown Flea Market is a great Sunday activity for friends and family. There are some vendors who are there regularly and some who show up every so often. There's a lot of fun clothing, accessories, decor, and miscellaneous things. I highly recommend going at least once a month to see what vendors have to offer!

An organized flea market where you can find unique and ancient jewelries, coins, and clothes. Most of the venders there are friendly and patient. You can also find a lot of amazing and talented artists with their artworks/paints there for sale. It is worth to visit if you are happen to be in DC on Sunday.

Great place to get fantastic values. Furnish or decorate your home with unique pieces that don't come from a chainstore

The flea market is a really nice place to find some crazy and unique items. One stand I really enjoyed had authentic advertisements and maps from the early 20th century. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because when I went, at the end of February, there were not many stands out. I would be curious to see how the flea market changes come summertime, when it is much warmer out. Overall, I think it's a really interesting place to go to and kill a weekend afternoon.

Great experience for tourist though there are not many sellers there. I got some used books with reasonable price. I give them four stars.

FRONT TO BACK A GREAT MARKET! Great dealers, great prices and great Area! Best stands are in front right by the bus stop and arnd the back alley!!

Various sellers from all backgrounds. Great variety from maps, photographs, books, comics, toys, coins, and paintings. There are always new items. Each vendor has a different perspective on how much things should cost. There are very low prices, less than $1, to of course, very high prices. Overall, great deals for people looking for hard to find collectible items. Don't forget to go down the street and behind the backside of the school for more items and where bigger furniture pieces are located.
