Read a lot of the previous comments. I was a first time customer today. The guys on the yard were very helpful and went out of their way for us. One of the guys noticed we had brass ammo casings in our mix. He climbed in the bin to get them so they could be counted at the correct rate. I don’t scrap much, but will certainly use these guys again.
AWESOME PLACE! I work for a solar company so I have wire all the time and aluminum left over from the installs so I come here about every 2 months for about a year. they always rush to get me in and out even in a rush. They are so honest that the owner Mr. Walls contacted me on Facebook and told me they accidentally didn't pay me for 100 lbs. and to come to pick up my money. that's awesome. if you're unfamiliar with how they pay just ask before you unload so you know what to expect but I promise you these guys don't skim anything off your payout.
i will continue to support this company with all my scrap and hopefully, you will too, and see things how I see them. your time will come and say that the guy who posted those true facts was not kidding. I went there they had a real nasty attithey were charging different prices for the same stuff. Eigtry to charge me number 2 copper. When it was all number one, cause the color change They said because it was green, it was number 20 pounds Of copper and they tried to say cause it was green instead of being all number one, it's gonna be on number 2 and didn't give me opportunity to separate it.
And then he picked my merchandise up into within somebody else's been and I didn't get paid for it. Delighted, I said thanks, I said you're welcome, you still didn't fix it. I told a supervisor neighbor to fix

If I could give any less starts I would, I just left this place and they bluntly took advantage of me cause I’m a woman. I had insulated data cable and they took it as Christmas lights. These people straight up stole from me. Female or not, you knew why you were doing.
Very professional and respectful staff. Simply unload your metals from your vehicle and they handle the rest. They will also help you separate metal types. Unloading area can become crowded at times so seek staff guidance if necessary. Also remember to pull forward into loading area and do not back into loading area. Speedy payment after weighing. Remember to bring ID for payment.
The 3 or 4 times I’ve been there, the personal have been POLITE, VERY INFORMATIVE, and will ASSIST YOU, IF YOU NEED HELP!

I drove from Amelia county and pulled up at 1:23 and they shut the gate so then I get out to talk to a guy that works there and he tells me they close at 1:25 and just ignores the fact it was 1:23 and I drove 50 miles and called and talked to them on my way for them to tell me long as I show up b4 1:25 I'm good. Now I'm sitting at b.p right near them out of gas and no money to get home. They are the most disrespectful lying people I've met
Easy in an out. But they paid me crap for copper wire. If ur north and this is the only place to go then maybe. But go to any place in Richmond n they will pay more, or these guys just don't recognize u so they cheat u
