Best auto customer service I've had in the entire Richmond area. These guys were patient while explaining details I needed and friendly people. Everything from my initial brake check until they finished fixing my truck was fast. I will be going here for anything I need from now on. Thanks guys!

Went in for a tire plug and Jayson took care of me. Not a regular and even with a full bay and cars waiting, no problem. Even saw another customer come in and called him by name…seems to be a regular. Saw they were getting his done too. Good job guys!

I stopped by NTB for a tire quote and found the pricing to be competitive and in line with market expectations. However, the in store experience felt very lean from a staffing standpoint. The advisor appeared to be managing multiple responsibilities at once, and while I understand the need for efficiency, the overall environment felt rushed, clunky and stretched. Because of that, I didn’t feel fully confident that my vehicle would receive the level of attention to detail one should expect. I want to be certain everything is installed correctly and that nothing is overlooked or left loose. Even if that wouldn’t be the case, the visible workload pressures made it harder to feel comfortable moving forward. I ultimately decided to pursue other options instead of choosing option #2

My daughter had a fully blown tire 50 minutes from the store closing, we called NTB and were so grateful they were able to help us! She has a three hour drive home and NTB was GOD SENT ✨. Thank you so much 🙏

Jason and terrell were very confident and diagnostics of my car. Very helpful. Felt like I learn more about my car today then I have had with my car as long as I have had it. These guys are great and amazing thank you

I rolled in on my spare tire just as they opened at 9AM on a cold, rainy Sunday. Ivey was welcoming and professional. She helped me navigate options for my repair. And, she kept me informed as the work was performed. Landon’s expertise got me back on the road. Thanks for turning an unfortunate event into a surprisingly good experience.

I really needed front tires, mine were pretty bald. I had to go out of town the next day. They had my tires in stock and put them on pretty quickly. Jayson was extremely friendly and helpful!

If I could give ten stars I would. shout out to Jayson, he`s the man with a plan! Not only was his service very quick and honest, they got all the work done and had my car ready the very next day. When I walked into the shop I was in a rush and before I even said anything he was standing in the lobby with my keys in hand and a smile on his face that tells you he`s proud to do his job. I will be returning.

Showed up as they were closing with a tire going down. The guys stayed to examine and found a nail. Plugged the tire and got me out. Very happy they stayed to take care of me!

Came down because I had a plug in my tire and they were able to accept my appointment same day and finish the job in less than an hour before the winter snowstorm. Terrell was very instrumental throughout the whole process providing educational feedback and helpful tips along the way . The entire crew was nice and got me taken care of. Definitely will be coming back for my tire needs in the future

Ivey and the mechanic team were great!! They were able to squeeze me in before closing to check my battery & replace it without an appointment. They also explained everything to me so that I would easily understand! With the upcoming snow and with being a current grad student, I was very thankful to have gotten this service so that I am able to have a reliable vehicle!

Admittedly, I’m horrible on tires/wheels. Went through a terrible pothole the other day and brought the car in for a new tire. They were honest and said there was nothing wrong with the tire- but the rim would need to be replaced. So, we went home- found a rim online from Walmart for $90, it arrived this morning and the NTB team put it on for us as walk-in customers in record time. Ivey was quick, friendly, and professional… and our service only cost $33! Sweet!

Jayson was exceptional. My tire pressure light has been on, and he had the tech check all 4, and made sure I was good to go. This gives me such peace of mind while on the road. Thank You!

Jason, Teddy, and Landon did such an amazing job fixing my flat tire. I came in for my repair at 5 pm and they had me patched and ready to go at 5:30 pm. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Had a great experience here thanks to Jason. I was dealing with an issue on a rental vehicle and he helped me out a lot, took care of everything super quickly, and made the whole situation way easier than I expected. He was very considerate and accommodating throughout the process. If you’re looking for a place that actually takes care of you, I’d highly recommend this location for all your tire needs.

Jayson helped us prep our truck for our cross country move. The truck needed a lot of work done and Jayson was very transparent with the price. I would return here everytime. And not just because this location is closest to my apt.

Ivey was extraordinarily insightful and mechanically-knowledgeable about critical automobile systems! Further, she genuinely listens closely to customer-articulated issues. In sum. the management of NTB/Mavis should count themselves very, very fortunate to be represented by such a savvy mechanical and business systems manager. Critical company representatives like Ivey are 'few & far between.'

Stopped by today with a flat tire. Jason came out, quickly diagnosed the issue and had me out in no time. Exceptional customer service, very friendly, and super fast. He was awesome.

Very misleading and frustrating experience at NTB Short Pump. I came in on a spare and shared my need for a new tire for my 2017 Honda Accord. I was shown multiple tire options but was explicitly told only one was in stock. After I questioned this more than once, the employee changed his answer and admitted that all of the tires were actually available. The conversation around availability was unclear and felt misleading. When the price was given, the employee said I didn’t look pleased. I explained it wasn’t what I wanted to spend, and he then asked what price would make me feel better and offered a discount, which made pricing feel negotiable rather than transparent. Throughout the visit, the employee repeatedly spoke to my boyfriend instead of me, even though it was my car and I was clearly making the decisions. It felt very unprofessional and honestly I did not enjoy the feeling of being dismissed. I waited over two hours, with only one customer ahead of me. After that wait, I was told a lug nut was stripped during service and had to be brought in from another store, causing further delay. I was told I would not be charged for the lug nut, but my receipt shows that I was charged anyway. About 15 minutes after leaving, my TPMS light came on, suggesting the service was not completed properly. I also looked online later and see a cheaper compatible tire shows in stock that was not offered to me. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, misleading, slow, and overpriced with undelivered service. I would not recommend this location. I wish I had gone elsewhere but unfortunately I didn’t have the ability to do so.

Good morning, I just wanted to take a quick few minutes and express my gratitude to this wonderful crew at this shop. Especially, one of the guys named Jason. He made sure of giving me the outstanding service that was needed with my tire. Since, the tire was ordered it was supposed to be here at an expected earlier time, but tire got delayed onto the next week and I had to leave out of town. He seen and heard how distraught and dissatisfied I was. He and his crew took initiative to work on my old tire and found the faults and even stayed a bit after to make sure they gave me the service I deserved and needed. They cared about the person and purpose solely and in my opinion they stick to the name of NTB tires. Thank you Jason for everything sir! I’m forever grateful. - Jadon Frieson

Went in to get a new headlight. Diagnosed right away and was able to figure out the issue. Jason and the mechanics were awesome in there customer service and professionalism. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much!

I had a very bad experience with this worst service provider NTB location. They did not properly diagnose my vehicle. My car stalled, and when I took it in for service, they claimed the only problem was the battery. However, the battery symbol had shown up on my dashboard earlier, so I had already checked my battery condition at Walmart. The technician there confirmed my battery was in good condition with no issues. Despite this, NTB insisted that I needed a new battery. I agreed to the replacement and ended up paying $338.79 for the battery plus $149.99 for labor. The actual market value of the same battery is around $250, so they clearly overcharged me. Moreover they did not properly connect the battery wires in my car, and they became loose after some time. After getting my car back the same evening, multiple warning lights (airbag, ABS, engine, etc.) appeared on the dashboard. When I asked about it, NTB gave no proper explanation and simply said, “We only replaced the battery; we are not responsible for other issues.” They told me to come back again if I wanted further checks. I drove about 23 miles, and the battery light came back on. I then went to AutoZone, where they checked and confirmed the problem was with the alternator (report attached). When I contacted NTB again, they insisted there was nothing wrong with the alternator. Later, they offered to replace it—but at a cost of $1000, which is far higher than the market price. I strongly suspect my original battery was fine and that NTB unnecessarily replaced it. They never provided any report about the actual condition of my old battery. Multiple mechanics, including AutoZone (twice), confirmed the issue was with the alternator, not the battery. The NTB staff did not explain things properly, failed to diagnose the real issue, and overcharged for unnecessary repairs. I feel like they tried to take advantage of me, assuming customers don’t know much about cars. Customers should be more careful with this NTB location Unfortunately, Google doesn’t allow zero-star ratings, so I had to give them one star. This is by far the worst service provider I have ever dealt with.
