I never have felt the need to leave a bad review but this company is genuinely Terrible they towed my car and I just moved in a week ago in my apartment the first week I think they find joy off this

They towed me from a spot that was not marked as a towing area. Filing complaint and also filing with Justice of the Peace to sue for refund. Everybody wrongfully towed should do the same.

Extremely rude driver blocked multiple cars and preceded to talk shit to women drivers. Watch your damn mouth and have some professionalism. Also the couple about to be towed paid 50 cash probably went straight in his pocket.

This guy just blocked me in a parking lot and told me it wasn't his problem, that he had a job to do. He was rude and told me and another car we could wait while throwing his hands up and say "oh well." He could have let us through. Bad business!

At the end of there life’s at least they can say they contributed to society. They are actively fishing for people to take advantage of. No sign near by for towing completely empty shopping center. They sit near crunch gym just for warning. I saw three other gym goers while I had to wait to get my vehicle.

Parked at San Marcos Center to go to a quick meeting and within 30 minutes my vehicle had been towed. They must have someone on staff or deals with the local businesses at the shopping center to hover over this area and immediately make calls to tow.

horrible. towed my car because i was parked along the side of visitor parking. then we show up at 9 when they open an had to wait 15 minutes because the worker wasn’t there and we couldn’t get in. very rude and money hungry. i had work at 9 and had to wait way later because nobody was there. super unprofessional and NOT okay.

They’re just illegal and pure scammers , my son had to visit his friend and he registered his car according to the apartment policy and yet they still towed his car saying he needed a permit , even though the apartment clearly stated that registration for 48 hrs is fine . I will be reporting them to the board , they are unethical and money hungry . I urge others to do the same .

Terrible and rude. I feel like the lady is just so miserable she has such a nasty attitude and is obviously so out of touch with reality she lacks empathy for others. Horrible place that preys on the community of San Marcos.

Your standard predatory towing service with the gall to act angry that you dared to make them do their job to get your car back. Gone from the office hours at a time and charge $150 for “storage” like they aren’t the reason it was there for so long. Hope they go bankrupt

They towed me on a dirt/gravel lot that had no sign or indication that I couldn’t park there. Filed a complaint to the city because it’s got to be illegal.

Here to support someone’s claim, got towed from Chimys for less than 30 minutes and I talked to a worker and they confirm that RGC hires someone to look for people to tow, even if you were jsut picking up a to go order. The greed from this company is insane, the front desk is the worst and most unorganized experience I’ve ever had with someone in customer service. Hopefully the owner can see how much of a horrible staff they employ and how greedy they are to make some extra side money.

Money hungry towing service that illegally towed away my vehicle that had a permit pass to my apartment complex. Terrible lady on the phone with an attitude when they’re the one causing problems. Need to be investigated and shut down.

wrongfully tows cars even if you have a parking pass in your car. charges $255 and refuses to allow you to access your vehicle during this time (which after calling the police i found out is illegal). terrible company with horrible employees who are negligent

Thank you for towing my car .2 miles away and charging me $200. You didn’t bother to check my ID and title when picking up you only cared about your money. You attempted to steal my vehicle and I didn’t allow that. Maybe going forward you should try not to steal. No reply needed.

Very shady business, they have a tow spotter at Chimy’s in San Marcos in a Nissan Altima waiting for you to park your car and walk away so they can grab your car. Even though my girlfriend has an amputated leg and was walking on crutches the spotter clearly has no morales. They must be paying them per each car they report. The spot where my car was parked had no signs. They charge you for a days worth of storage even though they had the car for only an hour. Don’t do business with this shady company!

We got our car towed from a parking lot where you can’t leave the parking lot?? I bought a coffee to and walked across the street to go look around Texas state’s campus since I was visiting San Marcos. They have minimal signs up to tell you this will happen. Super shady and odd behavior. No warnings. Nothing.

I had a nasty tire blow out going down hwy 35 and Nick from RGC Towing walked up out of no where and helped me out! This guy is salt of the earth amazing person, if only more in this world were like him! I would highly recommend RGC Towing because anyone who hires someone like Nick must also be wise and a good solid business operator! Many blessings to Nick and RGC Towing ??

My boyfriend’s car was towed from my apartment complex, even though we have a valid parking permit—it just wasn’t displayed on the dash that night. When we went to retrieve the car, we ended up waiting for over an hour in an extremely frustrating situation. There was one woman working, and she was very strict and dismissive. I initially offered to pay with my card, but she wouldn’t allow it since it didn’t have my boyfriend’s name on it. My boyfriend left my card on the counter to go back and get his card by accident, and afterward, my card was missing. We both asked if it had been left there, since it wasn’t in the car or anywhere else, but she brushed us off and showed no concern at all. I’ve been through the towing process before and know what to expect—but this felt shady, disorganized, and unprofessional.

My car got towed from a restaurant I eat at all the time. When I went to pick it up, there was a dog standing on the front desk—not exactly the most professional setup. They also had a huge “Never Surrender” Trump poster hanging up. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that a business that takes people’s cars and makes them pay to get them back looks up to a convicted felon.

Anthony at RGC Towing was awesome! I called him for a jump start, and even though he initially said he couldn’t get to me for an hour, he went out of his way to recommend another tow service nearby. Since RGC was the third place I called and the first to actually answer, I decided to go ahead and book with them anyway. Anthony showed up before the scheduled time and got the job done fast. I mean, it was just a jump start, but he was in and out in no time, and the price was totally worth it. Super professional and reliable—I'm literally saving their number in my phone now

The place is unprofessional. They run a 24hour business 7days a week and no one’s here when you need to get your vehicle. I called at 7:06 pm asking abt my vehicle had a 5-8 min conversation the lady tells me “someone will be there in abt a hour” from the time I called her I come around 8:10-8:15pm call n she tells me they left and won’t be back until midnight. I ask again abt them having 24hr service and she says you need to give an “hour notice” for someone to be there. Then tells me to come back at 9:30. No where in the red printed writing says “give an hour notice” UNPROFESSIONAL”. LAZY if you’re running a 24 hour business some type of employee should be there. Not y’all closing and coming whenever you please.

NICK IS THE BEST!! This whole company is awesome. We were stranded for 2 hours waiting for Southwest Towing after they told us 45 minutes to an hour. Finally cancelled with them and called RGC, they quoted us 20-30 minutes and Nick showed up in 15!! Got us hooked up and back home in no time, with a smile on his face. The lady on the phone was very friendly as well. HIGHLY recommend this company if you’re ever in a pinch! They truly care and will do whatever they can to help you, day or night.

RGC helped us when our car completely stopped working! Not only do they arrive in a timely manner but they have fair pricing. Definitely will be a returning customer if any unforeseen circumstances happen with our vehicle.

I had a car parked right behind me the entire night, I was unable to leave. I called this towing company 3 times, they told me someone was on their way, I waited an hour. No one showed up. I went to sleep expecting it to be gone in the morning. It wasn't. They never showed up and I was late for work. Terrible service.

they will tow your car even though you have a parking permit !!! Also they scratched my vehicle when they backed my car into a tree in their lot. I thought it was smeared dirt but when I wiped away the access dirt. I realized it was scratched.

Was stuck in Austin and RGC towing came through. Thank God for Tony and his crew. 100 % professional. There is no other tow service that goes the extra mile to help when in need. God Bless you guys.
