Oh man, I haaaaate dealing with car stuff. Saw the good reviews for these guys so I gave them a call. Super nice guy asked me some questions, said someone would call me to arrange pickup within the hour. Javier called in less than house, came over quickly, was super nice and got the car loaded and delivered to the mechanic within 30 minutes. Price was very reasonable at 125-ish. Highly recommend!

J&S is an absolute legend! They came out in the middle of the freeze and managed to pull my gwagon out of the trees avoiding the propane tank. The level of precision and professionalism was unparalleled if you are ever in need of a tow or recovery! You're in good hands and thank your lucky stars

Used their service through the State Farm roadside assistance and it was a breeze. I was contacted within a few minutes and they were on site within 20 minutes. The service person was friendly and efficient. I appreciated his dedication to the work as he was tightening the wheel strap he made sure it did not mat the wheel and was only in contact with the tire. He definitely helped me out of a difficult situation. I hope I don't have a situation where I need their assistance but if I do I would gladly use them again.

This company is absolutely terrible! They are not reliable at all whatsoever. Not to mention their customer service is the worse I’ve ever experienced. This company is so unprofessional. If your car is ever towed at their lot, all I can say is good luck. They will try to screw u over for their own gain. They have screwed me over recently. My car was taken there because I was involved in a car accident. When trying to get my car back, they were in no rush to get my car out of there. The longer your car is there the more you have to pay for storage. My car has been there for a week and they’ve done nothing about it except hang the phone up on me while I’m still speaking. They are so rude to their customers! I need to find a way to give this place a rating so I can leave a bad review. THIS PLACE SUCKS!

Quick response when I called! The lady that dispatched was super nice and friendly and a super big help as I had been stranded waiting for another company to show up for over an hour! Tobby the driver was there within 15 minutes and got my car loaded up and was so great! He was super friendly and nice and personable! will be calling this company should I ever get stranded and need a tow again! If I could give 10 stars on a review I would! Fast, affordable and easy to speak with driver. Toby was AWESOME!!! Friendly, knowledgeable and on point! My father was a big rig driver and would have been throughly impressed with Toby’s fast response and pick up/drop time, He somehow beat me to drop point lol. 10/10 for service and price!

Toby was great, he found my location and brought my vehicle to my location and even helped me diagnose the issue by using his jumper box to start it and help me figure out the issue. My car was towed and delivered all within an hour and a half, and I was stranded on the left shoulder of I-35. Thanks again and now I know who to choose in the future if the need arises.

Quoted a price of $150-175 then billed me almost $275. Charged me for more miles than they actually drove. Not paying them until they correct billing.

My service was great, Delvin was the driver very nice and explain everything, careful loading my vehicle. No problems with this company. Now my insurance company most definitely a different story. The lady spoke to. Was very helpful and answered alot my questions. Thank you for time and patience with all my calls!

I had an excellent experience with Devin at J&S towing. My girlfriend’s car broke down in the middle of an intersection and Devin was there within 5 minutes. Before he got there we were able to get the car moving again but we’re still worried that it would break down on us again before we could get to the service center. Devin offered to follow us to the service center free of charge in case we did break down so he would be there to help. Once we got there I offered him a tip as a token of my appreciation and he very kindly declined and was happy to help us in our time of need. We need more people like Devin in the world! If I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you so much again Devin! If I need any towing services again, I know who im going to call and ask for.

I had a really frustrating experience with J&S Towing, and the whole situation felt misleading and unprofessional from start to finish. The pricing looks simple at first, but once you actually show up, the add-on fees stack up fast and the final total ends up way higher than you’d expect what’s advertised as $125 somehow turned into almost $200. I was even charged a mileage fee of about $15 even though the place is only around 2.6 miles away, which makes no sense. When I pulled up exactly at the same time he did it seemed, the driver stayed sitting in his truck and told me “give me a second, I’ll be out there,” but I ended up waiting way longer than I should have just for him to come assist me. On top of that, my card kept declining at first, and my girlfriend offered to pay so we could just leave, but they refused to let anyone besides the actual driver pay in my case, which dragged the whole process out even more. Their payment system also feels outdated and uncomfortable because the driver who charged me had no tap to pay? Also instead of letting me type my own card information, the tow guy had to manually punch in all the numbers himself. Overall the whole checkout process took way longer than it should have, and the combination of unclear fees, slow service, unprofessionalism and old payment methods made the experience really disappointing. Getting your car towed sucks already as it is but i can’t be a good sport under these ridiculous conditions. in response to their response: Thanks for replying, but your response still doesn’t address the actual issues I mentioned in my review. My complaint wasn’t about how quickly the tow happened it was about what happened once I was already there. I waited after being told “give me a second” while you stayed in the truck, and that delay was part of the problem. I also never said anything about wanting to use your phone; my concern was that I wasn’t allowed to enter my own card information myself, which is a basic security expectation in 2025. When my card wasn’t going through, my girlfriend offered to pay, but your policy only allowing the driver to pay made everything take even longer. The extra fees, especially the mileage charge for such a short distance, felt unclear and misleading, and that’s a big reason the total cost ended up much higher than expected. And to be completely honest, calling my phone at 10:30 at night afterward especially after seeing my review felt unprofessional and unnecessary. I’m simply describing the experience exactly as it happened.

This was literally a full 5 star experience. I had gotten a 5,000 lb wood chipper stuck at the bottom of a very steep, slippery hill and not even my F250 in 4wd could pull it up. After calling 5 other towing companies and getting a big old “no can do” from all of them, J&S answered the call with a “we sure can” and Toby came to the rescue even though the sun was about to set. He came out with major perseverance and a great sense of humor and winched that wood chipper all the way up the hill. He even towed it to a place that would be easy for me to hook up to it in the future. Even after all the hard work, the pricing was incredibly fair and the smile never left Toby’s face. I HIGHLY recommend J&S Towing and Recovery to anyone looking for any kind of towing help. Thank you J&S!!

I was stuck! This company was quick to arrive, fast, courteous and friendly. I was so impressed with the quality of service from my driver. Toby was fantastic!!!

J&S came to the rescue when my car would not unlock after a break-in attempt. The driver was able to open the vehicle, test the battery, and jump start it, saving me the cost of a tow. I will pay that forward by keeping them on speed dial for the next time I need assistance.

Jeff helped us get our Fifth wheel trailer from Gorman Tx to New Braunfels Tx. And even helped us park it where we needed it a few days later, highly recommend!!

The owner of the company was super friendly and really helpful with my situation. He showed up quickly and made the long ride back to my shop much more enjoyable with his great stories and conversation. I’d definitely give him a call again next time I need a tow!

Horrible service. Rude and not helpful. No courtesy call if they are runningvery late. They prioritize accidents and expect customers to know how tow company works. Do not use this company. In response to their response: Wow. It got worse. So defensive and now liars or deaf ..cuss...we would never. What does that prove not a good company. Thank you for proving US right and we are glad we chose another company who by the way has enough workers to help wrecks and help those with flat tires at the same time. They arrived to help us in 10min after we canceled with you. Says it all. Any notification we did receive by the way came from our car insurance not yall. Should've canceled sooner!!¡ A. We dont cuss.....Ever but ok "recorded" sure. B. Never received notifications no texts C. If truck needed to tow was different how we're we supposed to know the insurance and yall got our vehicle information completely wrong. Thank God my significant other called to see why after an hour yall hadn't shown up. D. How were we supposed to know wrecks are prioritized without any type of communication. Good for you but let customers know. So which was the delay a wreck or tow truck change ??????

Had a really good experience with J&S Towing. The driver was great about keeping me updated on when he’d get there and showed up right when he said he would. Communication was on point the whole time, which really helped take the stress out of the situation. When he arrived, he was friendly, professional, and handled everything quick and smooth. You can tell he takes pride in doing the job right. Overall, solid service — good people, good communication, and I’d definitely call them again if I ever need a tow.

I needed to get my RV transported to Canyon Lake & set up on a short notice. Highly recommend prompt, fast, friendly and worth the money!! I will use their services again. The whole company is great. The receptionist answered all my questions and had so much patience (which is much needed when you’re stressed). The driver Devin was AMAZING!! Super nice and made great conversation! Loved this company and definitely will be calling again if I need to.

Driver was awesome. Transported my classic convertible with top down on an otherwise sunny day. Of course he hit a very isolated patch of rain, but he took immediate action , pulled off the highway, and under a gas station overhang. I was able to raise the top and we continued onto our destination. His quick thinking kept water from soaking the inside of my car. Great friendly service

Best towing experience I’ve had. These guys were prompt and contacted me right away to let me know they were on their way. I was in a dangerous situation and they put my mind at ease and didn’t leave me until I was safe and on my way. I highly recommend them and am adding them to my contact list.
