Hey yall, Just wanted to say thank you! I highly recommend this shop. They did repairs on my car and explained every step of the process to me. Listened to my concerns and felt relatable and honest. The tow truck driver arrived right away to my apartments and was professional.

very friendly service and customer support, very fast on repairs. Very reasonable prices ,, Excellent shop ,. HIGHLY RECOMMEND .

Don't waste your time with these people. The man I spoke to insisted on constantly interrupting me as I tried to explain to him the issues I was experiencing with my car. I was then charged over $1200 for multiple "necessary fixes" that fixed absolutely nothing, seeing as I am still experiencing the same exact issues as I was before I made the mistake of coming here. Golbow's, I'm not sure if you know this, but generally businesses only charge money for services they can actually provide. Have you guys considered actually being competent at your jobs? It sure would make it a lot easier for you to get away with overcharging your customers!

Update they never showed up. Called Katy Towing and they had a truck Pick me up in 10 minutes. >I’ve had a series of disappointing experiences with this shop, particularly with their customer service. The last time I called, I encountered a rude dispatcher who not only provided slow service but also hung up on me. This lack of professionalism is frustrating, to say the least. I had previously given up on them for car repairs due to similar issues. My last visit was particularly unsettling; when I walked into the office, the staff was preoccupied with smoking and chatting amongst themselves. It felt as though I was invisible, as no one acknowledged my presence for quite some time. When I was finally noticed, the staff seemed annoyed that I interrupted their personal conversations, which left me feeling unwelcome. Overall, the service quality here has been consistently lacking. I believe that with some attention to customer service training and a more professional atmosphere, this shop could greatly improve the experience for its customers. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Did not perform the tow in the time that was reserved one day in advance. Called 1 day in advance and booked 9am towing time from the vehicle to be picked.Timing was crucial as I wanted to get my vehicle repaired and get it back.Was picked up at 12.15pm and not repaired in time.I expected the towing to be done on time that is why booked the slot one day in advance.It was reserved and promised.A company should not pick a job if they are not sure they can perform. When called after job was finally done and paid for I called their office to let them know what had happened and the lady on the phone was rude from the start and did not acknowledge that it was a mistake instead wanted to just get into an argument with me and hung up.

Gerardo responded to my incident immediately, worked efficiently, and most importantly u felt safe because he took great care in handling my truck during the process. If you are in need of transporting and towing your vehicle I would go to them

I took my vehicle to Golbow's for a second opinion on an expensive repair recommended by another garage. They did a through examination and confirmed the repairs were not necessary. They were very professional and I will definitely use them in the future.

Our driver did not acknowledge us once when he came to pick up our broken down vehicle, he had his ear buds in the whole time and said zero words to us until my husband forced him to at least tell him what information he had so we could verify it was correct. He then dropped it off to the dealership where they told us that he threw them the keys and left without a word. So the dealership had zero information about the car they just received and it turned into a HUGE headache on our part where our whole day was wasted. We’re here on a road trip and that wasted day means our pets may not have proper care and our jobs have to rearrange to accommodate our absence - if you’re not going to do the job right. DON’T DO IT! The worst service we’ve ever received and thank God we don’t live here so we’ll never be forced to use this company again

Allison provided fast and professional service. I called 5 other towing companies and none of them were even close to meeting her level of customer service or pricing. Highly recommend this company over others. Good job.

I have been a Golbow’s Garage customer for years and would gladly recommend their service. The Service Department is very knowledgeable and professional. They provide a fair estimate of the work upfront and will always keep the customer informed of any unforeseen repairs before proceeding with any additional work. They provide an honest estimation of when the work will be completed, and many times they have completed the work ahead of their commitment. The people are great to work with and I will continue to use their services for many years to come.

Gerardo was amazing! He had my jeep up on the lift in no time. Delivered it to the dealership at the allotted time for my appointment. He made the situation far less stressful!

Do not deal with these people. They will break your car and not own up to it. Customer service is terrible unless Spending money with them. A car I just purchased from the Hyundai dealership Less than two months ass a third vehicle for my Company They towed my car the wrong way And damage my front alignment. Now my tires are balling from the inside, showing wires. And almost Causing my car to flip over while driving in the rain. And yet these people give you attitude After they screw your stuff up and think your not supposed to be upset when they don’t want to own up. I looked at these type of businesses as crooks and this is why They don’t thrive. As well as the check engine light came on Pertaining to The Front end alignment after it was towed. I noticed this the first time I drove my vehicle after it was towed. I tried to pay to get it out of the tow yard the first day because they are super Excessive with prices. But had to wait a second day which totaled over $300. Then I told the rep on the phone that they made me wait two days to get my vehicle Out of Tow and she said that’s not true. “ Yes sir massa “ “ It’s disgusting. We had to make an appointment to get the car back. Isn’t that the same thing If I waited two days?I But this is the type of people Ignorance i am dealing With and folks that think they know But probably living from paycheck to pay check. They broke my car and do not wanna own up to it so I consider businesses as this crooks. If they do something like this, I know they would do other things. Karma Will come back on these people And when it does, I hope they think of me My next step is reporting them to the BBB That’s if they’re even in compliance with them, which I doubt.

My wife and I have been taking our vehicles to Golbow’s Garage for over 30 years. In that timeframe we have always had positive experiences. We have always trusted their diagnosis of our vehicles’ problems and we have always been provided repair/service options that are clearly explained. Their pricing is also fair. In the last few years I have had several occasions to interact with Scott, who writes service for Golbow’s. Scott has excellent customer service skills and takes the time to answer questions I have had regarding needed service. It is never fun to spend money on car repairs, but the way Scott has treated us during the times our vehicles have been in the shop has made the cost of repairs as pleasant as they can possibly be. If you are in need of a trustworthy and competent automotive repair facility I highly recommend Golbow’s Garage .

Best car repair shop I have ever dealt with. They deserve more than 5 stars. I dealt with Scott Goldbow and he went out of his way to explain everything, kept me updated, and couldn’t have been nicer. His level of customer service was excellent, something that is rare in Houston. I truly felt like he appreciated my business. Goldbows is my go to for any of my car repairs in the future.

A wrecker, driven by Josh, arrived at our home today in response to a GEICO request to help with a dead battery in my 2010 Mazda. Upon arriving he greeted my wife and immediately began diagnosing the problem. He said it was an electrical problem and not a battery issue. He suspected that rodents were attacking the wires under the engine compartment and probably the cause of the electrical outage throughout the vehicle. I was not at home at the time but Josh explained to my wife what he found. I told him to take the car to my regular auto repair facility in Katy. Before leaving he was unable to open the hatch back to remove my wife’s wheel chair. He climbed into the back seat and was able to remove the chair through the front drivers side door for which I was unable to do earlier in the day. Both my wife and myself are grateful for not just his professional display but in particular the personal effort he made to go beyond what was expected. Josh is an exceptional example of what customer service should be. I would recommend Josh to anyone needing towing service and if needed again , I would not hesitate to ask for him by name. Josh helped tow my vehicle at home the day after an accident. I was stuck on a work zoom meeting and he still took care of me and my vehicle via phone. No issues or anything. Super helpful and accommodating. Loved my experience. I’ve saved this company’s number for future use and I’ll always ask for Josh from here on out. Lifesaver!

My tow guy thankfully happened to be driving by when my tire unexpectedly blew out in the middle of i10. I’m forever grateful for his help, he handled the situation professionally and with a good sense of humor. I can’t think of a better person to be in the right place at the right time, a million and one thanks to him for saving the day :-)

What a stressful day, muggy and hot waiting on the side of the road for the tow truck. My first surprise was how quickly the truck arrived. I don't know what I was expecting but the gentleman who arrived was a young man named Austin. So professional and kind, he changed my experience from a bad one to a pleasant one, his good attitude made a world of difference .... Thank you Austin and Thank you Golbow's !

My driver, Geraldo, was very nice and professional. He did a real good job on getting the vehicle up on the tow truck and sent away. I have no issue with him as a driver or a person. The issue I have is how much it actually cost for the tow: $125 for the base tow $12 for a "load hook/mileage" fee $21 for a FREAKING fuel charge!! $35 fee to get it moved over because the battery was dead and he needed to use some boards to get slid over. I understand that there was some additional work that needed to be done but $192 to tow something less than 3 mi away is outrageous!!

I called to get my truck towed to an auto shop. Within an hour of calling, my truck was at the auto shop. The driver Gerardo was respectful, professional, and knew what he was doing. They communicated with me throughout the process, so I knew exactly what to expect. Overall, the process was simple, quick, and competitively priced. I hope I never need such services again, but if I do I know who to call.

This was my first towing experience and the bar has been set....high! The wait time between the initial call and when the drive showed up was about 20 minutes. Better than reasonable. Initially, I thought my car was going to have to be on the street, which I personally can't stand, but it was able to be parked in the driveway. Exceeded expectations. With this being my first time needing a tow, I had no clue how much this would set me back but my driver have me a tip to check with my insurance and see if my coverage will reimburse. Helpful hint. We even had a bit of delightful conversation after everything was settled. Icing on the cake. Thank you so much for your help and being an exception to the bad rap that tow truck drivers get. I have used their services 4 times in a length of 2 months. All 4 times they’ve arrived very quickly, to me their prices are fair, sure any towing is gonna be pricey, it’s to be expected due to the economy. I will continue to use their services because of the good experience I’ve had with them. And yes I will recommend them as well. As to their mechanical expertise, I will update on pricing and general thoughts after I get my car back once they work on fixing the issues.

I wish I could recall the name of the guy that helped me with my tow but he was absolutely phenomenal. I never thought I’d leave a review for a towing company but my experience was that great. They were able to help me out immediately (while I was waiting over an hour for AAA by the way). I told them I was in a tough spot and needed help in a hurry. They were fast, courteous, and professional!
