I have a 2008 Chevy Express van. It has a strong engine and transmission, runs great. A break line ruptured. In attempting to repair it, we noticed that a port on the proportioning valve was stripped. It had to be replaced. Chevy discontinued that part. I searched for weeks and couldn't find one. Without a new one I would have to scrap my van. I called Alameda salvage yard and a very kind human named John, went out of his way to find the part and ship it to the repair shop. He really saved me. I really can't put in to words how grateful I am to John and Alameda salvage. Oh and the price was very reasonable. 💯%⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience they got the parts that I needed no extra charge and they don't charge you for entrance fee. Owner John Mullady was friendly and prices are reasonable.

Called and talked to someone there. My call went in at about 4:40PM. The person I talked to told me he was going to check inventory and he left on the phone waiting for 15-20 minutes. I could hear him talking in the background. I called back and no one answered since it was already after hours at 5PM. Poor customer service. Just let customer know that you could did not want to do your job and saved my time.

Great staff and very helpful. They make you feel welcome. Good prices and they got variety. Most of the time I find fine what i need, are worth the shot. Last time i was help by a kind man Jaime at the front desk, he was very descriptive with car section locations and few questions. Would definitely consider them my first option. Go support them!!.

Super friendly and completely reasonable in price. Pull it yourself, or they will pull it for you for a small charge. You can't go wrong here, and they have a big selection of cars. John has been running the place for decades and you couldn't find a nicer or more knowledgeable guy... he knows what's out there. Can't speak highly enough about the place.

i called to ask for parts and customer service was really friendly. They literally sent someone to the lot to check if they had the parts. Unfortunately they didn't have them but compared to the other junkyards I've been calling they gave me a better experience. Will have them as future reference on our projects for sure.
