Had exactly what I needed. Great service.

Had all new speakers installed in my brand new car .. and they did a good job I thought! Wrong!!!!.. I didn't know at the time of install . It seemed fine . Then about 6 months later one of the speaker started to crack . I thought it might of been a wire touching metal . When I went to see what was wrong I found that they broke all the connecting mounts and trim clips from the trim pieces they had to remove to swap the speakers . One spot they didnt remove it at all just ripped it out of place to put the speaker in with only 1 screw btw! Found the problem to the cracking noise . there are holes in the cones to the speaker like it was stabbed . There goes that money !! "1 star I would not recommend "

When I moved to Summerville some 14 years ago I seen the radio shack sign and the kid in me came right out .remembering all the old kits and things they used to offer,so first excuse I could make to visit I was there.anf it did not disappoint ,except now a middle aged grown man that still loved to tinker with all things electric and cool or all things sound ..It was like radio shack grew up with me because now it covered from tech to kids ,to middle aged men who love to fill the air with Bass and agrivate neighbors and blue tops.Some consider them to be pricy but they don't carry crap products their staff are no dummies and if they don't know the answer to your question you can bet they want the answer as much as you do and will stop at nothing to get an answer for you .I know staff on a first name bases and I'm not the only one there's a a ton of is that we know them and they know us city store with a small neighborhood feel .Keep up the great work guys your community loves you

Pour customer service!!! Spend 3500 on my system and they promised life time warranty... guess what once they take ur money warranty is out the door... owner is a joke rude and unprofessional... never again.... and they installers are LAZY AND RUDE... ... I regret spending my money there...

I had been wanting to go in since I learned there was a Radio Shack still around! Even if this one also has to use another name. It was like stepping back in time!

They have small electronic parts and a good supply of everything. Capacitors, resistors, diodes, transistors, LEDs of all colors plus a bunch of other parts and pieces. Well stocked and the guy was helpful

All you're saying is this guy saved my life when the car company that I trusted and bought my car from decided that I only wanted from me was money well. This company decided they wanted to treat me better than that

Hello went to visit the store looking for some cable PCs. Was really happy to also see it had a lot of Radio Shack stuff plus a wide range of audio equipment. Go check them out and also check out all the speakers.

I took my truck there a few weeks ago and told them I wanted dash speakers and front door speakers even pointed to them ??‍♂️ they got the door speakers but didn’t do the dash speakers instead they put the pillar speakers in the back of my truck which were 6x10s on top of that my pillar speaker cover is broke my window deflector is broke and they charged me more for the pillar speakers do not come here if you want your stuff broken or put in wrong.

Roy or Royce from Hurricane Electronics made the radio buying and installation process super easy. He disclosed the install fee upfront, helped me understand the different models of second-hand radios I was getting to fill the hole in my jeep, and had it done within an hour. I was impressed and it works great. Highly recommend to anyone for a new radio.

They were absolutely fantastic in helping me pick out speakers for my car and really spent the time to explain the details of what each speaker offered so that I could make a more informed choice! Will go back again

I went in to ask a few questions about my car audio system and even though I wasn't making a purchase they had no problem answering my questions. I will be back to purchase some upgrades because they have some really great options.

Great customer service they make you feel like family I’m not sure of her name but I’m pretty sure she’s the manager a lady that works in the office. She is the sweetest lady she always goes above and beyond to help me every time I come in the store!!

This place has been open since right after Hurricane Hugo. Great people who work there. Small store that offers great service. I would recommend you try Hurricane Electronics first before any large, big box electronics store. Always a pleasure to do business here. Thank you again for taking care of your customer.

Hurricane Electronics/Radio Shack is a diamond in the rough! Suddenly- like days long gone- I'm able to locally source low volume project materials the day that I need them again. Having to bulk order components online and wait 3-7 days is both wasteful and a huge time suck, and Hurricane solves this problem! They also have an incredible CB/scanner/two-way radio department (much bigger than any truck stop I've been in), as well as dedicated home/car/live audio sections. If you need an adapter or cable for A/V equipment, chances are they have it! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and patient- I have a tendency to think out projects while my options are in front of me, and I didn't feel crowded in the least. Give them a try the next time you're in need of something for your electronics/tech project- you won't regret it!

I had to make some custom cables for my studio. I stepped in to get some supplies to complete the task. This location carries a lot of miscellaneous items that you'll inevitably see at random and grab, just incase you need. The associates are ready to help at a moment's notice. Prices may reflect the currect economy and availability of harder to find items from anywhere else. Just come here and save time.

I came here to have four door speakers installed into my truck and it took over 3hours to do I would never ever have anything done here again. Regular speakers, no Amp or anything extra.The service is extremely slow. You have been warned.

Sean and family have done a fantastic job of keeping it together so we can still enjoy a RadioShack our town. All of the employees, in the front for sales, and, the installers in the back know their craft and have always run a very reputable business. I am truly grateful for them being in the community for us and will always continue to walk through their doors.

Great place to buy quality JL Audio equipment. Subs, amps, boxes, etc. They carry other brands as well, but this one is the reason I went here. Staff is knowledgeable and made a super recommendation for me. I can't be happier.

They are fantastic. Well versed in all their products. If you have a project these guys can really help you out!!!!! I was looking to get rid of my factory Bose amp and upgrade along with door speakers and tweeters. They saved me a lot of time and money along with a big headache.

Worsted experience ever...first day the hooked my system up the next day my car wouldn't start... I had parts they left off my car on the back floor... I took it back because the speakers stopped playing and to put my parts back on my car...they never put the parts back on the car... they claim the lost them and for me to purchase them my self and bring them the bill...but as far as them fixing my radio the never did my speakers burned up before I could clear the store. They had finger prints all in my car on the headliner and the headliner was coming down which they did fix but my radio still doesn't work properly...I took my car back three times and everytime I got it back there was a different problem...they truly need better help...

This place is bizarre. I wasn't sure what to rate it so I gave it the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars. Here's the breakdown: Pros: It has a lot of little pieces and parts that I would typically have to order online. This is nice because I have the convenience of a neighborhood electronics store. Cons: The staff aren't always helpful and the store is super unorganized. This place is like a blast from the past that I'm not sure I wanted. The shelves are stocked with old telephones and mp3 players and the discount table is lined with unidentifiable broken things. Almost every boxed electronic is an old version of something that has been updated many times. I never understood how Radio Shack could possibly end up bankrupt in an age where every 15 year old is flying a drone in his back yard. Get some technicians that know their stuff and bring this place to life!
