This is a lovely little store. It was well stocked and arranged. There are a few higher-end items, and they are priced appropriately. The staff is sweet and helpful. I could tell from the conversations around me that there were regulars to the store, with friendly conversations. I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, but I will definitely be back.
Absolutely love this thrift store, clean friendly all items are in good condition and clean. I've made several donations to them and will continue to donate. Keep up the good work.
Love this store. The staff is super friendly. I visit a couple times a month. Love looking around and always pleasantly surprised at the selection of clothing and housewares. My daughter also loves going with me and looking around. You wont be disappointed.
Went thrifting while on vacation in the area and this is one of the nicest second hand shops I’ve been to. Well organized and everything is clean. The prices can’t be beat. You can walk out with a whole outfit for less than twenty! The staff were all very kind and helpful.
First time at this thrift store and I love it! I like the way the sizes are organized and the ladies working are very nice. I got some super cute things for low prices. Will definitely be back!
The BEST thrift store! I visit them at least twice a week. Love all the volunteers! And I LOVE that all the proceeds go to helping those in need in our community.
The older lady with short white hair that works here is SO unbelievably rude to her coworkers/employees. She lectures them in front of the customers. Yes, she is nice to your face, but I felt so bad for the kind lady she lectured. I’ve worked many jobs and never in my life have I ever witnessed or been subject to such unprofessionalism. I wouldn’t support this business.

This is such a great place. The volunteers are always so friendly and the items in the store are actually clean. They have a large amount of hardback books at the moment ($2/each) and a few paperbacks ($1/each) if you want to add to your library. Many other really reasonably priced items too.
This is my favorite thrift store in Charleston. Prices are reasonable and they take the time to make sure the items they sell are in good condition. Plus the volunteer staff is just lovely and friendly and genuinely happy to be there. Plus the shop’s proceeds go into our local community! I can’t say enough good things about Second Chance. I’d give 100 stars if I could.
They had a pretty good selection of decent items and pretty fairly priced. It wasn’t pleasant though to overhear the staff speaking negatively and passing judgements about other people. Other than that everyone is really patient and kind. Overall experience matters though. I don’t like shopping in that kind of environment.
This is My Favorite thrift store! I have been shopping here for years. I always find so many Great items. The prices are reasonable and I Love that all of the money is given to our local charities. The staff/volunteers are top notch. They are friendly, helpful and hardworking. Second Chance is set up like a boutique that keeps welcoming you in as soon as you walk through the door. You will keep coming back again and again. I did so much of my holiday shopping here this year. Unique gifts that are affordable and priced right.
This is by far the nicest thrift shop I have ever been to. The items they sell are clean and in good condition. They have a large selection of clothes, books, and trinkets. The volunteers who work here are all so nice.
I have been to a couple of different thrift stores this week and was not very successful. I go in here and find so many items. When I first walked in, I wasn’t sure I’m in my 30s and I found a lot of items that were trendy and cute! Amazing prices. The ladies who work in there are absolutely so sweet and loving. I pray for so much success for their business places like this, I love spending my money with.
Clean, inexpensive, and has a fitting room. Couldn't ask for more from a thrift shop. They have odds and ends of other things as well; it's fun to come in and browse. They take donations right next door.
I loved this little store. It was clean and organized well. The items were in great condition and very well priced, much less expensive than Goodwill. They also have a list of the local charities on the wall that their sales contribute to. All of the employees were so kind and lovely. I don’t live on this side of town but I will go out of my way to come back here.
My daughter and I found this thrift store nestled over in the little shopping strip by little Caesar’s pizza near the Food Lion off of Bacons Bridge road in Summerville and we are so glad we did!! It’s awesome! The prices, quality, and selection of clothing, household goods, and other awesome finds are amazing! The best in town! The service that we received from all of the lovely ladies that work there (all volunteer) makes the whole experience wonderful! This is how a non profit thrift store should be! Goodwill could sure learn something from how they are running this store! What a gem!
Staff was extremely nice prices were really cheap and there was a lot of good quality items I came here on 2/3/23 and got a small waffle maker and griddle as well as some converse for a total of 18$ ((all in almost brand new condition)) not bad at all compared to what they would have been brand-new or online. I would 100% recommend this store for thrifting
Love love and I can always find things that I need and things that I really want it's the best place to go and look around after seeing all the great looking things you'll forget all your problems so my recommendation go to the second hand store you'll like it you'll find something there that you'll really like guarantee
Great experience here! Racks sorted by size and category (pants, sweaters, etc). Most things are $4! The most expensive item I got was $8 for an LL Bean trench coat! Will definitely come back
I was so glad I found this place recently! Very cute thrift store. Organized very well! They have an amazing assortment of items, you will not leave empty handed. Their prices are also very reasonable so I was excited to get everything I fell in love with! The staff is very nice! Can’t wait to come back :)
Thanks to community support, this little shop receive fabulous donations. Ever day you can find new selections of housewares, clothing, jewelry, books, and accessories. The store looks more like a boutique than a thrift shop. Staff are all volunteers and are helpful and very friendly. All net profits go right back into the Summerville community. Wonderful, fun place to shop!
First time there today. Found a great selection of children's and baby's clothes, all $1 each! Tons of clothes, books, jewelry and home items, and a small maternity clothing section. Will definitely be back! Everyone there was so nice and helpful!
