They did an absolute wonderful job you couldn’t even tell it was wrecked Looked brand new great with Service always kept us up-to-date with what was going on. You didn’t have to call and ask they kept you informed. Gave you when they thought things would be completed and did it with in that time. I would highly recommend them for costumer services and quality of work!!!!!
This is the worst place ever. You can go to or deal with. We had a van that was totaled out in their parking lot. They were paid through Allstate for storage and a tow. And that the van will be picked up they took our van on the other side of the road and left it and Ward trucking parking lot. The best part is they drove the front tire on driver side off the rim. And then left it there we have had Altoona Police department and Logan township Police department. Come to our home over this they are absolutely the worst company in the world let alone don't know how to do the work right generic cheap work nobody should ever use them
I have experience in auto body and had some deer damage work done by them. I can see defects in body work and paint work a mile away. Of All the issues, they did not flat out refuse to fix but said I needed to deal with my insurances local rep to get him to see the defects. This had nothing to do with my insurance company. If parts do not fit, you stop and contact the proper people to get the matter resolved. You don’t just finish the entire job and then leave it up to the vehicle owner to do all the leg work to get it taken care of. First bumper cover they installed literally looked like they cut it with scissors to fit around the headlights. Huge door to fender gap from aftermarket parts they used. Aftermarket headlight they installed contacts fender and is scraping the paint off. Headlight bulbs were falling out. They did replace the bumper cover after showing them the defects but would not get anything done about headlight. Six months later the clear has died back so badly it looks like a matte finish. I’ll have to sand and polish to get it looking good. I’m not the kind of person to keep whining until I get my way. I just will NEVER go here again and will advise as many as I can if the work quality they are willing to give back the customer. THEY are the “professionals”. Why should I as an everyday guy be able to spot multiple defects in parts and work within minutes of pulling up to get the vehicle? Just think about that question.

Very impressed with the customer service and quality of work done at Cummings Motors!! The amount of damage done to my car after hitting a deer was extensive, but they kept me updated throughout the entire process. Kris was especially helpful in answering all of my questions! They truly went above and beyond making sure that every last piece of my car was repaired. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I will never regret calling Cummings after my wreck. To start, when I called for a tow, they got ahold of their driver right away who called me back within minutes. The first thing the driver asked me was if I was okay and he got to me very quickly and even offered to give me a ride to work after we dropped my car off. My case was then assigned to Brian who was excellent throughout the entire process! My vehicle was there for a little over a month, to no fault of Cummings, but Brian would call me to follow-up even when there wasn't much of an update to give. He also didn't make me feel like a burden when I would call in and he worked diligently with my insurance and made the process extremely easy on my end. My car looks and runs exactly the way it did before my incident! I would 100% recommend this business to anybody.
Cummings was amazing! Their staff greets you when you walk in the door and makes your bad experience more manageable. My car came out looking like it did before the deer hit me. They also took care to reset my trunk space and get rid of the excess parts ripped off my car and vacuumed my interior. Highly recommend for all damages
Had my first wreck ever and was not sure of the process for estimate and turning claim into my insurance. Adam was very helpful and answered all of my questions and believe me I had a lot!! Insurance claim submitted. Adam set the appointment for repairs. During the repair process Adam kept me updated. Repairs done in a few days as promised and done beautifully. Even washed my car!! Would highly recommend this repair shop for all your needs. Very professional and friendly.
I want to say I have had bad experiences with 2 other places in the past. But Cummings was top notch!!! From getting my car there for pictures and the estimate. Came here with a simple fix needed for my car and they told me it would be $6000 plus hidden fees. They like to screw money out of insurance, but I was paying this out of pocket. Even after explaining this they told me to go somewhere else. Went to Lava auto body in state college and they cost $661 and did a great job. You'd think they'd want to help poor college students, especially when one of the owner's son just graduated, but no. I've been to other auto body mechanics and the price here is absurd.
Jack H was our "agent" / contact person and I am very satisfied with the services completed. Not only did they work with the insurance company so I didn't have to but I they also completed the work in about a week. Jack was very helpful with the process and even did a separate estimate for my vehicle to have fixed at the same time if I wanted. Will definitely be going back if I have any other issues and would recommend.

Had to stop there to take photos for an insurance claim. The individual that assisted me was extremely friendly and helpful. Considering I wasn't a customer and I wasn't going to be a "sale" its impressive to see someone willing to go out of their way just for the sake of being helpful.

I can't say enough positive things about the experience I had with Cummings. I worked with four different folks throughout the repair process, and each employee was knowledgable, helpful, responsive, well-spoken, and polite. I was working with them from 200 miles away due to an accident that my daughter had, and from beginning to end they did exactly what they said they would, with one exception - they delivered a perfectly repaired car back to us a full week earlier than estimated. They even cleaned up the interior and put my daughters personal possessions into a neat bag for her. The car looked like new.

So my right front bumper is wrecked, they charge me 2700 $ to fix , that’s extremely overpriced. So the next day I stop by a motor service in state college and they only charged me 175$ to repair the wreck and make it look brand new. Very dishonest people to deal with, never go to this place if you have other options.

Amazing all around service. They were flexible on date and time of drop off. Allowing me with a phone call to postpone twice. On pick up the rental car company couldn't drive me there in a timely manner. They stayed open until I got there. Almost an hour later than normal. Finally, a 1 carat diamond earing had been lost previous to my service. I get my keys back, open up my car, and there is a beautifully detailed vehicle. The one lost earring is in the cup holder. Amazing all around service.
