My wife was recently working out of town in the Altoona area when the muffler fell off her car. I was over 2 hours away, so couldn't be much help. She called Peterman Towing.
Not only did they get to her within 20 minutes, they took her the car to local garage Maine's Service Station and got her back on the road within 35 mins. She said the tow truck driver was nice, profrssional, and made her feel better about the whole situation.
Great service, and it was under $100 for the tow!
Highly recommend!!! I was in an accident, my car wouldve been totaled for sure. Air bags all deployed and front end completely smashed in. It took 5 days for my insurance company to get back to me about my claim and ended up not covering it because they found out i was working during the accident. Peterman was in contact with me during those 5 days and was very helpful. When we found out the insurance wasn’t going to cover it and we had to pay to get it out, he charged us less then half of what it wldve been AND even towed it back to our home for no extra charge. Very good man.
My air valve snapped on my tire, and I was left stranded. My insurance company's roadside assistance couldn't find my account, and they offered to send out a tow truck for $100. I declined, then looked for towtrucks on my own. Petermans popped up in my Google search as being the closest to my location. I called him, flustered, and he was so helpful and gracious, as I left my wallet at home! He charged me half of what my own insurance company was going to charge me, and accepted that I didn't have my wallet.

Not a fan at all! Who charges over $800 to take a vehicle 4 miles?! Then proceeds to tell them "well your insurance covers it"!?! Like no buddy, some people have to pay out of pocket! ?
Great guy! Knew what he was doing. Hauled my 58 Bel Air and was extra careful. Amazing price so I threw him a tip. Ill be calling him first next time instead of wasting my time with these other guys. Out of 13 companies on a Saturday, he's the only one who took his job seriously and got it done the right way.
Had locked keys in car, with it running. It was early in the morning as I was headed to work. The gentleman showed up within 10 min, and had me in the driver's seat in no time. Highly recommend his service! Thanks and God bless

This is another case of me never being at a place that Google Maps says I was at so let's give Dave Peterman the benefit of the doubt and say that he runs the best business on the face of the Earth who's with me?
Worst towing company. He was accusing me of driving (I was a passanger until I get a permit cause I WILL NOT drive until I am legal to do so), accusing my father-in-law of speeding (he was within the speed limit) and says he hit the person who hit us (the person T-Boned US) and he went on and in about false accusations. Never again! When an accident happens, YOU DON'T GO SLANDERING PEOPLE WHEN YOU WEREN'T A WITNESS!
I have been a customer for years..Dave has always been honest and fair.. Being a senior and a widow it's wonderful to have someone I can trust.. Thanks Dave..
Called at night and he took good care of my car in the cold and mud and even gave me a deal. Got here fast as well. Definitely best service in the Altoona area. Call here first!
