Asked for new rear brakes and rotors while getting new tires, instead of putting new rotors on they resurfaced the old ones which i wouldnt have cared except they didnt even do it right and i was vibrating the whole way to autozone. The tires i got (Winterforce 2) are very nice though, Ive had 0 issues with the TIRES and like them. If i were you, id go here for TIRES thats IT i wouldnt get any mechanical work done to your car from these people.

We had an appointment for 4pm. for a tire rotation. We were waited on an the person at the service desk said it would be about a half hour. We walked across the parking lot to Target and shopped for 50 minutes. We walked back to find our vehicle had not be even started. The clerk said they got backed up and could I wait? I told him I drove an hour from Huntingdon for a 4:00 appt. and now it is 5:00. How much longer will it be? He said "We will get it in right now and it will be about 20 minutes." We waited and it was done in about 20 minutes.

Front desk was friendly and quick to get me scheduled. Maintenance was fantastic. Replaced ball joints, tires, and checked the rest of the vehicle. Drove like a brand new truck! Very helpful to have financing options too. Thanks!

Firestone Quality is pretty consistent brand wide. I’ve been doing business w Firestone in South Pittsburgh for years, moved nearer to this shop, same exception quality. Good communication, answered all of my questions with detail good work.

Vehicle taken in garage within 5 min of my appointment time changed oil and filter also air filter and rotated my tires was out the door in less than 40 minutes

Sent a car in for brakes and rear rotors and without consent added additional inspections and replacment parts. Also overpriced parts. ($30-$50 more than other services in the area) turned a $600-$800 bill to over $1200.

I brought my 2011 Honda Civic hybrid to Firestone, for the symptom of noise under the car in the rear. They quickly diagnosed it and suggested fixes.The person at the front desk,- Mike-was extremely helpful and clearly explained the alternatives with no pressure at all. The mechanic was efficient and thorough. I highly recommend Firestone to anyone for their car maintenance and repair!

Ok place to do if you need an alignment or tires just watch what they sell you. They will tri and sell you wiper blade you done need and charge you an arm and a leg lol to put them on lol other then that the front desk guy was very nice and understanding.

I had scheduled a "parts inspection" to see if anything were about to wear out in order to get it replaced before it did. They did that, and then they went over every aspect of their findings with me to make sure I understood each situation. I was able to decide what to have done/replaced and what could wait. I was not pressured to have anything done, but I was encouraged to do what was essential. I was exceptionally happy with the thoroughness, professionalism, and friendliness of the Firestone team.

Leaving 1 star because I can't leave 0. I'll save time and do this in one go instead of a review for each instance y'all tried to screw my mother over. under no circumstances should anybody take there vehicle here 1. In October went in for an inspection, while waiting all the workers where more interested in social hour instead of doing there job. When we got home I realized that all but one lug nut on each tire was loose (and I'm talking I could spin them with my hand) 2. In March we took the vehicle in for an alignment. They sold her on a lifetime alignment. The next day the steering wheel is jerking so bad it's almost pulling the vehicle into the opposite lane. We take it back in and apparently in the less than 24 hours since said alignment there was severe tire wear. So they sold her on 2 new front tires (not needed the tires were fine, also did not return said tires). That still did not fix the problem so after another visit there is apparently slack play in the steering wheel. After taking the vehicle to a certified dealership mechanic come to find out that the rack and pinion Firestone replaced not even a year earlier was bad. 3. After Firestone again replaced the rack due to it being under warranty. We get the vehicle home and surprise the lug nuts are loose again (I could again loosen them by hand). 4. They tried to sell her on front breaks stating her breaks are bad. I convinced her not to trust them (luckily I did) because after getting a second opinion from a mechanic come to find out her breaks are fine. All of this has been reported to you corporate office and will also be reported to the BBB. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE IN BUISNESS YOU ARE PUTTING PEOPLES LIVES AT RISK!!!!

I only leave a review if a place does excelIent or horrible. I quit going here years ago over the "mechanic" destroying 2 of my original rims for my 87 Grand National. Decided to give them a try on my daily driver. I went with bigger tires on the back of my grand marquis so i had a little more clearance when towing. These geniuses put one bigger tire on the front and one on the back. Glad I didnt have to replace a pinion seal or a rear end. Figured an oil change wouldnt be too hard for them. Took 2+ hours for a 10 min oil change that was scheduled 2 days in advance. During my time in the waiting area all I heard from behind the counter was politics. If they focused less on politics and more on turning wrenches and making sure the 20 yr olds working in the garage werent destroying cars then they would have my business. RJ the manager was caught doing some really embarassing stuff in high school. Do better, Firestone.

Firestone had the tires I needed in stock and got me taken care of as a walk in on a Sunday afternoon when I was in a bind. I needed replacements that same day because of a flat tire issue. The service guys were all extremely kind and accommodating. I’m very happy.

Many thanks to the guys who went above and beyond to help an elderly(87) woman with a flat tire. She was basically stranded in the Outback parking lot until Gavin from Firestone filled her tire with enough air to safely get to the Firestone garage! There are still good people in this world! Thank you, Gavin, Ryan, and Shaun!

I have been bringing my car here for a few years and I can't reccomend them enough! With Firestone you have the peace of mind that the work done to your car is done right the first time around. The employees here are always so personable and willing to do whatever they can to get you in and best of all they price match so it's an all around win. I also like that it's conveniently located in a shopping plaza so there's something to do if you end up having to wait around while they work on it.

They diagnosed my check engine light quickly, worked with my fleet maintenance plan as well as anybody can, got the part in quickly, installed quickly. Very knowledgeable and friendly people to work with

I do not recommend this store. I took my Cadillac in for a tire rotation and alignment. The inexperienced “technician” put it on the lift and crushed the rocker panels. The company claims rep said that my car was 10 years old and therefore they only had to cover 50% of the damage they caused. I will tell everyone I know about their BS and lack of accountability.

Got 4 tires brand new and a Tire Alignment on my 2007 Cadillac Cts. Got an appointment the same day I called in and got it done before they closed. I'll use this store again, no problems. Definitely worth the price.

I had a front end alignment done after having new tires put on at Walmart. Needless to say, my front tires are as bald as a baby’s behind on the inside.

I had a flat tire during my stay in Altoona. The rental car company advised me to go to Firestone for the repair as they have a contract to do repairs on rental cars. My tire was repaired within a hour and half after drop off. Staff was professional

Brought vehicle in with a loose rack. There is noise when moving wheel parked. Rack could be moved by hand when under the vehicle. Was told the rack was in good condition. However my control arms needed to be replaced. This is their trick, they've done it multiple times to someone I know. Fortunately, I knew the state of my vehicle and was able to reject the unnecessary repair. That was one incident. I should have known better but went back anyway for an oil change. The first thing you should do when replacing an oil filter is to remove the old seal. They did not. They said some excuse about a bad brand filter but let's be honest, it's pretty hard to screw up a filter install. They sent me home and the next day I had 3 quarts of oil in my street. Firestone refused to pay for a tow to fix their negligence until court was mentioned. They gave me a free oil change for the future, but why would I want this experience all over again.

ZER0 STARS..Altoona store and their area manager..they didn't catch these but it was something else..car was on rack 3 times in several months..this is a major safety concern...Firestone Altoona area manager refused to fix the problems they caused
