got some PC parts here and they were a great price. No issues so far. They have a large stock and the employees are very knowledgeable.

the customer service I received from a technician named Gavin at Micro Center (Yonkers at the cross county location )During my interaction, Gavin was disrespectful, unprofessional, and demonstrated a lack of basic customer service skills. His tone and demeanor were unfriendly, and he became easily irritated rather than attempting to resolve my concerns in a professional manner. This experience was the worst customer service encounter I have had with Micro Center and fell significantly below the standards I would expect from a company of its reputation. As a result of this interaction, I no longer feel valued as a customer, and it has directly impacted my decision to continue doing business with Micro Center.

My iBUYPOWER PC has delivered smooth and consistent performance since day one. Games run at high settings without stuttering, and the system stays quiet and cool even during longer play sessions. I go here for all my tech needs. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Pricing is competitive. Recently had a run-in with Michael and he really treated me respectfully attempting to get a GPU. I realize how hard it is to get your hands on one, so I appreciate his help. Ain't going anywhere else but here to build my PCs. Highly recommend them.

I recently went to this microcenter to purchase a bundle after being quoted for a specific price and left this store very happy after being price matched for the price I was quoted for! Edwin was very helpful and was the main reason I left happy!

If you want parts it's great. Would absolutely NOT recommend their PC build service however. Tech went over build with me when dropping parts off, and then proceeded to completely ignore that, didn't install several parts and never contacted me until I was told to pick it up. When I got to look at the PC I found that several parts were installed incorrectly to the point where I have to basically rebuild half the PC myself.

Anyone looking for help forget the Genius Bar at Apple and the Geek Squad at Best Buy. All you need is the super staff at the Knowledge Bar where the staff excels at the knowledge of products and you receive one on one support. As a senior that is not so techie with computers I was helped by Mohammed and Mike(store manager). My problem was simple upload my scanner to the laptop. However, the scanner unfortunately was not compatible and Mohammed enlisted the help of Mike. Mike actually offered me to take a different scanner that would be better. After several times trying to load the program and getting the same error code through sheer patience the problem was solved that my laptop had snapdragon. Therefore, they google to how to load the program and that actually worked. Mike even provided a shortcut on my laptop so that I don't loose app. So the next time you need help think twice and go where you will be a priority and not just a problem. If you are old enough to remember what it was like to go to a really cool computer store like CompUSA where are all of the cool tech computer stuff you jumped about buying was all in one place? Triple that feeling and you are in a micro center. For those of you who have never been to a place like that, this is your chance… They have literally every cool toy and gadget. From the whole line of DJI products to 3-D printers, every gaming controller known to humankind, all there to behold. This place is the chief example of why in person stores rather than Amazon deserve a place in our lives.

Extremely helpful workers and they have so many pc parts that you could imagine like the 50 series Nvidia cards and the modern AMD cards I recommend this store to people in search of pc parts and who want a good deal on stuff.

I had a great experience at this Micro Center store. They have everything and pretty much anything related to home and business computers. You can buy pre-build gaming computers or the parts to build your own. They have gaming consoles, speakers, television and much more. The staff welcomed me as soon as I entered the store and offered to help me find what I was looking for to buy. They are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I went here to get my iPhone screen repaired since Apple has Micro Center listed as authorized retailers/technicians. The rep who was working at the help desk around 4 pm on 1/4 told me that they would have to mail the phone out and it’s better that I just go to Apple. It almost felt as if he did not want to service me. I told him that since I’m already here, I’m okay with the phone being mailed out. He then said he will check if he is able to take the phone, and later came back to say that they’re not able to do it (after initially telling me that they can fix it, but they will have to mail the phone to be repaired). I questioned why this location was listed as an option on Apple’s repair site if they are not able to fix the problem to which he said “we are authorized retailers, but we’re not able to help you with this” and brushed me off. I felt that he just did not want to help me, particularly. It was not a nice feeling.

Obviously this place is like Disneyland for a tech nerd, but I have to say their policies are really making me have a hard time considering them over sites like Newegg and Amazon. We bought my son a PowerSpec desktop PC here two years ago, and now we were looking to upgrade his GPU. PowerSpec is an in-house brand that's made by Micro Center. They say to book an appointment online for a GPU trade-in consultation, so I made one at the exact location we bought his PC. The tech takes the GPU in back and starts running diagnostics on it. I came back in 15 minutes, as he told me to do, and he told me that they couldn't take the GPU as a trade in because it wasn't a standalone product purchased at their store. The fine print, of which there is a lot, on their trade in landing page says nothing about the GPU having had to have been purchased standalone. My son's GPU is on record as having been purchased at Microcenter, so this is insanity that they wouldn't accept it. It's in perfect working condition. Also, in the store, I couldn't even find any new GPUs listing the advertised prices from online. Everything in store was $50 more than online, if not more. I traded in our GPU to Newegg and got a better deal on a 50-series than you can get in Micro Center's actual store anyway. Waiting for the package to come in the mail was much better than the time wasted driving an hour each way to their store, getting turned away for an arbitrary interpretation of a policy that's not written on their site, and not even finding the advertised prices of GPUs I saw on their website the very same day. I'll definitely think twice before bothering to go all the way to their store again. I'm only giving them 3 stars because their stock is fantastic, and it's a fun place to visit for the tech-obsessed crowd. Shopping experience is 1 star.

I come here EVERY SINGLE TIME I need new electronics or specifically - more computer parts for upgrades / builds. And they have NEVER led me astray. Hell, I was able to return a 1440p monitor that was out of warranty range and a good while after purchased and was able to trade it in for it's exact value when I purchased it and used that value towards a new 4K monitor, no fuss, no nothing - left that same day satisfied as I ALWAYS do when I come to Micro Center, there's not many of these in the U.S and to have one in YONKERS of all places makes me feel genuinely blessed. #1 Service, and prices that compete with NEWEGG? You literally can't ask for more - it's perfect.

Love this place. Its a serious upgrade from Radio Shack back in the day. For those that remember Radio Shack. The store is clean & well organized. Their website even has a map of the store layout so you can find your item even faster. This location is on the top floor of the mall & parking is free. They have a large assortment of merchandise. You can pretty much find anything you need. You really can't compare this store to Best Buy or a PC Richard because of the amount of accessories they offer for evey situation. With that in mind, they do have a variety of brands available & their prices are comparable to Amazon. So check out the website or drop by the store to experience what it is that I'm trying to explain to you.

On 11/29/25 at 10 am Sadiq who was working behind the knowledge bar was completely rude and has terrible customer service. He acted as if he was doing me a favor and as if I was an undervalued customer and even had the audacity to suggest I take my PC elsewhere. Lol plenty of people need jobs in this economy, if he doesn't want one, hire someone else. He isn't doing micro center any favors. Great store, terrible employee customer interaction. Would definitely go elsewhere next time, even if it's to another microcenter.

over all terrible service, the manager that served me today had a very nasty attitude towards customers, despite working in costumer service, 3rd time changing out computer because the other 2 pcs were total duds. do not recommend. throughout my experience only 2 employees were actually helpful. over all, just go to best buy at this point

My favorite store to waste time while my wife is shopping. There is always a sale i can take advantage of and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Commission based retail is a good business model. I always find a way to spend money there as well.

As an integrator, this store is a real lifesaver. Whenever I need to quickly pick up a router, switch, or security cameras, Micro Center always has what I need. Great selection and reliable inventory — a go-to spot in a pinch.

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Micro Center of Yonkers. My sales rep. was Carter Bar. and he provided such a personalized and attentive experience from start to finish. Carter was not only extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly but he also listened to my multitude of questions and concerns and patiently addressed all of them. Carter's customer service skills were impeccable. I highly recommend this location as I have always received great customer service every time I've shopped there throughout the years with yesterday's shopping experience being the most pleasant!

I was totally pleased with my visit. I had to upgrade my laptop because it was not compatible to Windows 11. From the gentleman who greeted us at the door, to the gentleman who helped me with my purchase to the techs behind the scenes who transferred all my information it was a great visit. Yes I recommend this place to everyone from those like me not knowing tech to those who live and breathe it.

The store is great but the sales people in the back did not have much experience at all with my simple phone question as to how to transer my files unto the SD card. When I went to check out with my items, I asked Hector R. the Front Lead if he could help me wirh my phone. He did !!!! He helped transfer all my files and showed me great tips. I left the store happy and satisfied !! ? His great expertise and awesome personality is truly a gift ! I will ONLY request him and call before I come next time to make sure he is there. Thank you Hector !!!!

Great shop, employees are always friendly and willing to help. They're also knowledgeable about the products and if they don't know something they're willing to help look up the details. They've got you covered for most of your tech needs. I've purchased PCs, monitors, 3D printers, supplies, etc. Their extended warranty program is worth it on big ticket items. I had a monitor stop working on me after 1.5 years they gave me the full value of the monitor back in credit which I was able to put towards a new one.

I have not been to a brick and mortar electronic store geared towards the hobbyist in a real long time. I went there to see if I could get a Nvidia card, The staff was real friendly, I was amazed at the quantity of nich computer products in the store. You can order online and pick up at their store. My next computer components will be picked from there when im ready to upgrade.

Micro Center … Yonkers, NY…I love this store. You can always find what you need. I found the items I needed with the help of Carter B. Sales Assoc. who made sure of that, as I was from out of town. The items worked great when I got back to my hotel. Micro Center has everything for your computer and gaming needs. Just a great experience always.

It's a supermarket of computer parts. And of course TVs and printers. They will build your computer if you want them to or you can just go around and buy all the parts and take it home and put it together yourself. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Which is good for the business because no business would be successful without a good working staff. Management chose right when they picked. the staff. Plenty of parking handicap accessible.

I bought a gaming laptop and a mouse here, everyone was nice the manager even thanked me for my purchase. They don't try to upsell you like best buy. The staff was also very helpful.
