you dont stay in business for almost 50 years by ripping off your customers (like some reviewers have suggested).more than a few times ive seen richie pay some guy a few bucks for literal garbage knowing he wasn't going to make a cent because he's a decent guy. see what happens to you at the scrap yards in the bronx
I hired them to do a large amount of recycling for a tenant improvement job (3 dumpsters full of scrap / 1000's of pounds), they didn't give us receipts and then Richie stated that he would not be paying us at all for the scrap. These guys are a flat out scam and unprofessional! I highly recommend you avoid using them at all costs.
First there is no scale so they can’t determine how much weight you actually have to recycle . They eyeball what you brought out . And on top of that the guy only gives you enough for a “coffee.” Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Helpful workers on hand to give you what they can for unusable materials. Limited parking, but easy to unload since you can pull right up to the weight platform.
Make sure when you go to this place look measure before you take it there because they're lying about the weight I brought 10 ACs They put it on scale they said 70 pounds what is not true I Measured each AC before they all weight it more and they do not even give you receipt Thieves 🔥

Treatment was professional and prompt. I received top dollar for my scrap. They even emptied it from my truck and took my cardboard boxes. I won't even look anywhere else again. Just go there
Completely disagree with the other reviews !! Very good prices, honest people very professional. The owner is an artist and the set up of the yard is very interesting and intriguing to look at. Best scrap yard in Yonkers !
