I attended the Rix Magazine Jeep event for the first time, and I want to start by saying the venue and overall event organized by Rix Magazine were excellent. Unfortunately, my experience with the judging process, which was handled by DeDona Enterprises, was extremely disappointing.
I drove over three hours from upstate to attend this event and entered my Jeep Gladiator in the competition. I’ve invested over $60,000 in upgrades, and the build was completed by Prestige Performance Center. I proudly displayed their decal because I’m proud of the quality of their work.
What disappointed me most was how the judging appeared to be handled. My Jeep seemed to be completely overlooked. I was never given a judge to fill out my judging paperwork that had on my windshield or ratings that participants were supposed to receive, and my vehicle was never properly acknowledged. Meanwhile, it appeared that many of the trophies were awarded to members of DeDona Enterprises’ own Jeep club or to Jeeps they had built, including some that, in my opinion, were less extensively modified than mine.
I respect that DeDona Enterprises has been in business for 45 years, but professionalism and fairness are essential when judging a competition. From my perspective, the process did not feel impartial. After making the trip and investing so much time, money, and effort into my build, it was frustrating to feel as though my Jeep wasn’t given equal consideration.
I’m not upset simply because I didn’t receive a trophy. My concern is that every participant deserves a fair evaluation, regardless of who built their Jeep or what club they belong to. I hope future events have a more transparent and unbiased judging process so that everyone who participates feels their vehicle is judged on its merits.
Truly the best shop I have worked with. The owner and all employees are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. I absolutely recommend Dedona in the highest regards.

9 days ago I when to pick up in Yonkers a Facebook marketplace jeep wrangler rear wheel heavy duty holder -when I arrived there, to my surprise the seller worked at a Dedona Enterprise ,a custom jeep shop. I had an appointment to have my Jl Rubi lifted and tires - in Nj So I quickly change my mind and asked the fellow at the store if they could do the lift and everything else for me and they say yes, but you would have to come back next week so I did week later I show up and the owner took me for a pre text ride -Guided me in a different direction and I took his advice I am glad I did my Jeep rides phenomenal. This is my fifth Jeep that I have and the best one out of all of them they were honest ,did not try to over sell me stuff that didn’t need ,like the places in New Jersey try to. I went to a few different ones. i’m from Englewood New Jersey took me 25 minutes to get to Yonkers not a bad ride whatsoever and everybody in that shop was professional , So if you anywhere in nj check this shop. Jeep pickup trucks etc. I rarely leave reviews, especially this long But I had to tell my story.
I needed a specific part of my BestTop fixed, and the employees at DeDona were just awesome. They were so kind, and did a great job with the BestTop. I am definitely coming back for any other car issues.
The cap on my 2014 Ram 2500 had shifted, putting undue pressure on the back hatch window, causing the rivets to rip through the fiberglass of the cap. Window hatch would not close or lock properly.
Da Dona lifted the cap, replaced the felt liner between the cap and the truck. Re-centered the cap and used pop rivets to reattached the hatch window frame to the cap. All told I was in and out of their shop (which is very cool) in a little over two hours.
I had never needed their services before but I would NOT hesitate to go back there for any future work. Great job guys.
I've frequented Dedona for over ten years for a reason. Jimmy and his staff know Jeeps and modified 4x4s inside and out, up and down. If you want something built, he's been there and done it a thousand times. That said, he’s also constantly innovating and pushing limits with design and fabrication. He has decades of experience over any other mechanic/builder around. Twice I had other (closer) garages do minor work on my Wrangler because it was immediately convenient and I regretted it. Dedona ultimately ended up correcting their mistakes. Jimmy's work is always show-quality clean, he won't sell you parts or service you don't need, and he is a 100% straight shooter. Every time I've ever gone in, he's taken the time to test drive the Jeep with me, discuss repairs and upgrades in depth and show me around the shop. Always a ton of cool projects of all sorts underway downstairs- new and vintage. He treats you like you’re family, and an army of repeat customers is a testament to his character, talent and skill. The *one* time I had a minor issue with an installed part (a shock), Jimmy jumped in his truck, drove 45 minutes to my home and fixed it in my driveway. He stands by his work and always does right by his customers. If you need a build, a part or a fix, this is the place. Full stop.
Listen!!!! I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE STAFF!! Jimmy and the team will take care of you WELL!!! They're honest, and they are loyal to their customers!! If Jimmy says it's not a good idea to do something, trust me, it's NOT A GOOD IDEA. He's got the experience, the know-how, and the integrity that is hard to find! Other than that, you wanna beef up your suv or your jeep, YOU GOTTA GO DEDONA'S!!! PERIOD!!! I recently got these beautiful rims for my jeep. Went for 17" to 20". Price point was perfect!
Wow! The customer service and quality at De Dona is beyond compare. We took our 2024 Jeep JLU 4xe Rubicon X for a slew of upgrades - lift, new wheels and tires, new steering damper, rear bumper, regearing, and many more. From the moment I contact them, Jimmy, Dan and Junior were the BEST to work with. They made great suggestions about what we wanted to do, and were never just trying to upsell. They helped us choose absolutely what we needed, then knocked it out of the park when it came time to do all the work. Above and beyond at every step. We will definitely be coming back for more with this Jeep and our other vehicles. I now understand why they have so many great reviews.
I was having steering issues due to new components installed by a different shop. I reached out to Dan, who works at DeDona, and he asked me to stop by. The next day, I drove to the shop and Jimmy immediately inspected my Jeep when I arrived. He resolved the issue within minutes. Afterwards, Jimmy explained what was happening with my new components. I was blown away by his level of expertise. It took a brief conversation for me to realize that Jimmy’s build knowledge is in a class of its own. The team at DeDona is meticulous and approaches every project with a level of quality that is hard to find - extremely detail oriented. It’s no wonder they are rated so high in customer reviews! And their shop showroom is massive, filled with many parts/brands for you to see in person. I look forward to bringing my Jeep to DeDona for future mods!!
I have been with DeDona Enterprises and only DeDona. My very 1st time with them was to fix my electric convertible MyTop that wasn't their job, they didn't install it but because they do this exact job they welcomed me and fix my top. Another amazing moment was when my tire light went on and I was so worried to drive that Jimmy took me right away with no appt. & he took 1 look at my tire and found the nail and took care of my car immediately. Safety & his customers are his priority and if your car is safe on the road then your safe on the road. I also get all my accessories from here and I get a lot of compliments thx to DeDona! I appreciate the whole staff there and they have become my family. It's rare that you will ever find a shop with all those amazing qualities and I'm so lucky to be a part of this incredible establishment. Thank you Jimmy and staff for all that you do!
The only shop I will let do work on my Jeep. A friend took his Ram pickup to Dedona (they were highly recommended to him) he had changed his tires and hated the way it rode. Dedona knew exactly what suspension & tires would be good for his use and he is now incredibly happy with it. I have a 2018 AEV Wrangler JKU Rubicon automatic with (had) 410 gears. I took it to DeDona to talk about re-gearing to 456 and upgrading the brakes. After the test drive Jimmy told me I do not need brakes and he recommended going with 488 gears (the sweet spot for my use). Instead of spending money on brakes he recommended swapping the existing Old Man Emu front stabilizer (a fraction of the cost of brakes) with one from Fox. I picked it up my Jeep two days ago and cannot believe the difference. They have the best guy around doing the gears and I am so happy I went with 488. The Fox stabilizer absorbs the bumps, (I used to cringe if I hit the smallest pothole or bump) and virtually eliminates bump steer. While it was there, he installed the Rock Slider steps too…something I always wanted & so nice! Like I said, this is now the only shop I will let do work on my Jeep & I also highly recommend them. Simply put if you want it done right take it to DeDona…Jimmy and the team are amazing, and I feel like they treat their customers the way they would want to be treated & take pride in their work which is huge.
Everyone at De Dona is incredible. They rightfully take immense pride in their work. The 3 inch life and 37 inch tires they put on my ford bronco look, and feel beyond amazing. They do not try to upsell you and are enthusiastic to help you build your dream truck. They have countless years of experience and if you are looking to modify your truck, you need to come to De Dona!

We brought our truck here to get worked on and we found the staff accommodating, helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and it's been a long time since we've found a repair shop that we trust. You get that sense as soon as you walk in. They went above and beyond to make sure we understood the process and were very fair with the price. Highly recommend!
Many people make the mistake of believing that DeDona is just an installer. However, Jimmy and his team take it to a totally different level. His product and build knowledge is second to none. He has an unparalleled passion for what he does, and they really are the best around. Visit his store and you will see the vast array of Jeep and truck products on display. 11 out of 10 here.
Update: it always amazes me what these guys do with these trucks…this one was built from nothing. No one does it better than DeDona.
Jimmy and crew are top notch! Brought my 2014 Jeep in with 108,000 miles, for a new lift kit and some much needed maintenance. It drives like day 1 now. Thanks Dedona Enterprises for giving my ride a new life. If you want the best for your beast, Dedona is the place.
If your looking to get work done to your jeep this is 100% the place to go. If your not from the area take the drive its defiantly worth it. I got recommended to Jimmy after I was having trouble finding a good shop in my area. Jimmy and his crew have tons of experience they gave me so many different ideas it was hard to pick which ones I wanted. De Dona is the place for you if your looking for high quality work with years of experience!!
If you have anything you want done to your truck or Jeep, this is the place to go for sure. These guys really know their stuff and are super reasonable with pricing as well. I traveled down to Yonkers from Newburgh and I am very glad I did. Everyone is super knowledgeable and super friendly, from the owner Jimmy , to Junior and Jeff and all the other staff. I can’t express how happy I am that I found this place, and also how happy I am to be spending my money here. Worth the travel if you’re looking for a top of the line shop!
Just ordered side steps for my Chevy Silverado. The Customer service was outstanding. Everyone was very knowledgeable. The owner Jimmy even took the time out of his day on a tour of the shop, I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for good parts for great prices.
Cant say enough about Jimmy, Junior and rest of the staff at DeDona. I've been going there since the late 80's and have never been disappointed. I've gotten great advice on what to consider for my Chevy Blazer and 2 Jeeps. They even lifted my 2012 Liberty and it came out awesome. From parts to service, DeDona will not disappoint. Highly recommended for all your 4wd needs.
I couldn’t speak more highly of and say thank you enough to every staff member at Dedona. Not only are they very knowledgeable, but they make your experience very personable. They also understand what you’re looking for, and know how to piece together every part of your dream build. If I ever have a question about anything, they make me feel comfortable to call or stop by to figure out any idea I have. Jimmy, Junior & Jeff go over the top for there customers. I felt like I was family the minute I walked through the door. I originally walked in to get an exhaust and got many other mods done. They do really great work, and don't mess around - they had my car for two days and it was done. Will Return for sure.
Listen I am not a person who takes time out of my busy life to write anyone a review but only to people who really deserve it. Walk into De Dona and I was impressed by there selection and I was asked if I needed help with anything immediately. I am ready for a build of my 18 Sierra and I needed to get all the items I need to achieve what I want. All I can say not even with work done to my truck, Jimmy was so gracious to take time out I mean searched, gave me his best professional opinions. He spent an 1 1/2 hours with me and he helped me bring my vision into reality. What a nice guy and I am glad I met him and I feel totally comfortable bringing my truck and having the work done. He has everything you need under one roof and I can’t thank Jimmy and the crew I met Saturday enough for making the visit a pleasant and productive one too. See you soon.
From the time I walked into the shop they made me feel like family, Jimmy spent time with me and I never felt rushed into anything. There experience is bar none. They did an outstanding job on my daughters Jeep I can not thank them enough for the quality and craftmanship they put into their work. Its all about the details and there is know one who knows better then DeDona Enterprises. They not only have a customer for life but also a friend.
I've been going to De Dona since 1995 with my first truck. Three trucks later I'm still going there get things done. Jimmy the owner is great and so is Jr his assistant. I got new LEDs on my Armada and the tech Jeff was nice and quick with the installation. They stand by their work and the service is always professional.
