This crooked shop charged me 2 hours of labor to replace this little air fitting only. Guys name was Mike. Either they love ripping people off or they don't know how to replace an air fitting but want to charge $175/hour like they are pros.

I am furious that my life was put in danger by Albany Avenue Truck and Trailer's lack of care. They installed extenders on the rear 4 tires of my camper, but they installed them incorrectly, didn't tighten them properly, and shoved the extenders into the tires carelessly, causing both my left rear tires to blow out at once on Interstate 90 (where there was no shoulder), just a day after picking up the camper from Albany Avenue. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it was a terrifying, cost me a fortune plus 4 hours on the side of the highway, and it was 100% the fault of their carelessness. When I tried to contact them to tell them what happened, and at least get a refund, they didn't even bother to get back in touch.
Saturday afternoon the check engine light came on in our RV. They were not open but come Monday morning Larry hooked the RV up and read the codes, ordered the parts. When the parts came in Larry jumped on it and got us on the road again. Larry and Mike went out of their way to get us back on the road. Couldn't ask for better service and at a fair price.
Stay away from this garage!
I was surprised how they have a five-star rating, until I tried posting a negative review and noticed how they get pulled down the next day. They are pro in removing negative reviews, and assume many have been forcibly removed by this shop.
Mike is a very nice & knowledgeable guy but terrible with communication & follow through. Anticipating them being busy & booked, I first called him about putting a plow on my truck mid September. He said they could do it, though he would have to fit a universal mount on the truck. The next 2½ months went by with me calling to check in with him every few weeks because I didn't want to pester him and he NEVER returned a call or message. Not once. Finally he told me to have it there for Monday November 27th. He said he would need it for "a few days". He was well aware that that truck was my daily driver and I was using alternate transportation while he had it. After 3 days I called, left a message for him to call me back, which once again, he didn't. So the afternoon of the 4th day, I called and got Mike. He said someone had called in sick and he was behind. He had not worked on it yet. I asked if he had a time frame for getting it done and he wouldn't say. Just told me that if the truck wasn't there he couldn't work on it. So, I left it. Trying to be patient & understanding, I did not call and pester him for well over a week. December 11th, two weeks after I dropped my truck off for "a couple days", I swung by in person just to find my truck sitting out behind the garage with a dead battery and no work even started on it. Mike was not there, but the guy at the counter just gave me a blank look and said he didn't know anything about it when I asked. I had him give me my key and I pulled my truck out of there. I tried very hard to be patient and reasonable, especially since Mike had been highly recommended to me, but obviously they aren't interested in my business and didn't care at all how long they kept a vehicle that I use every day. I'm sure they don't even care that I pulled my truck out of there or that I'm writing this review. Maybe Mike didn't want to do the job on my truck to begin with. I wish he had just said so instead of wasting my time. I've since gone and purchased a plow truck and have no intention of ever trying to do business with Albany Ave Truck & Trailer again.
Mike and his team have been very professional and helpful to us with our Winnebago. Mike is very knowledgeable and answers questions even when they might seem silly. I am grateful for the service they provide.
Mike at Albany ave garage is awesome. He always hooks up whatever it is that I need. Whether it is a 5th wheel install, repairing plow wiring, or using his press for various projects that the shop I work at cannot take care of.
On December 17th I had an unfortunate mishap with my Boss plow. On December 18th I contacted Albany Ave. Truck and Trailer first thing in the morning. I explained to them what happened and they told me to bring it down and they would look it over. After entering the service department I knew we had gone to the right place. They were extremely helpful and brought it right in and went to work on it. 4 hours later we were on our way back home with a plow as good as new, because of there commitment to great customer service and talented technicians.
Needless to say it takes a lot to impress me and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Timmy and Larry the technicians, and Mike the owner. I feel they went above and beyond to fix a major issue with my plow and it’s great to see this level of customer service in today’s world!

We just bought our mulch for the season as first time customers. The owner and his daughter were extremely courteous, professional and helpful. When our mulch arrived, the driver introduced himself by name, shook my hand, and was extremely efficient and friendly. A truly pleasant experience from start to finish. Thank you.
