Sold my friend a 2014 ford focus with a bad transmission doesn’t wanna take responsibility on the car at all lying to everyone. When the car started Messing a week after we got the car started not shifting and he said to bring it to my mechanic and I did and my mechanic said that the car needs a new transmission and he didn’t say anything
He sold me a car, then made me go to a mechanic who told me the car is nothing but scrap metal then they refused to pay me back by my deposit They’re keeping my work and the alignment that I put in that car then offered to try to put me into another junk box Car this dude should not be in business. I’m still waiting for my other thousand dollars I put down on the deposit the 1400 he gave me was just the money I put into the car that was already supposed to be done when I first got the car then on top of it There was no lights on in the place when I went to pick up my car and I find out that Central Hudson has shut the power to the business You wanted to have the car looked at and pay a professional mechanic to do a new car inspection, but he refused The car should’ve been reconditioned before sale never left the lot like that and he does not have a qualified mechanic on duty or on the books there I didn’t even see a toolbox I saw two screwdrivers a rag and a can of brake cleaner and the rear subframe was held up by one bold I also did do a complaint with the DMV how was it? My fault when the car was rusted to death and you did not pay me for you pay me back for the parts that I put in you did not pay me the down payment back
Worst place I ever brought a car from car sounded loud he said it was suppose to come to find out the whole bottom was rusted out sent me to one of his friends to get fixed charged me over a grand and never changed the pipe said he found another hole had someone else look at it the pipe was never changed completely rusted out paid 12 grand for garbage because he took advance of my need for a vehicle at that moment
Do not buy a car from this dealership, he sold my son a Chevy Silverado rusted out they refuse to fix because it's cosmetic but well the cross arm in the rear is rusted don't even know how the inspection passed if followed protocols. My son brought it back because wheel bearings were shot claim they fixed them but well his caliber stuck locked up as he was driving so whoever works on these vehicles is not smart. All within 2 weeks of having it it has been problem after problem. My son reached out to the guy he told my son to save working on the caliber for him to do like he can't move it so not educated with how vehicles work.
I have bought three vehicles from this location they are great people and help me get into a new vehicle when needed never had any issues at all they will work with you and do the best they can to get you into a vehicle...
Great sales rep he was a cool guy but the car I purchased not even 24 hours after I got the car it had to have the tail light bulb replaced and I didn’t have no help had to do it myself and the power steering pump Since I got the car has slowly been getting worse but it is not the sales persons fault like I said great sales rep

Sure you read your contract and negotiate sticker price I paid ten grand for a 2500 at best car with no warranty lesson learned
I have purchased 4 cars from here!! The owner is absolutely wonderful and will go above and beyond for customers! Because of how amazingly I was treated as a customer with no relationship to the place I became close friend with owner and family! I recommend this place anytime I see someone looking for a car and not just because he’s become my friend but because I was treated a million times better when we were not friends that I ever would have been by anywhere else!

Ulster auto is a great place steve is a great guy the first time we got a car it started to have problems but he was on it quick and tryed to fix it when we kept havings issues he got me in a different one and i love it i highly reccomend ulster auto exchange
I bought a truck here in September of last year and it's already a peice of scrap metal. It had issues from the day my boyfriend and I drove it off the lot. I was stuck in a parking just the next day because it simply wouldn't start when turned the key. Maybe 20% of the time it wouldn't start on the first try, just had to wait it out and eventually it would work but it made me late to work multiple times. A random beep would chime while driving sometimes and not stop unless you hit the left blinker, never heard anything like that before. The ball joints were worn down dangerously low, the leafspring on both sides in bad shape, worn brake pads, a significant coolant leak, bad exhaust, plus no working radio, heat or AC. What frustrates me more than anything is back in March of this year, I brought it in to the shop for just a quick oil change. They charged me $35, I paid them cash and they gave me no receipt. Well what do you know, a few weeks later my truck is running like garbage so my boyfriend and I bring it to another mechanic that offered free diagnostic.(because we were suspicious) this mechanic puts it on the lift, sees all these issues I mentioned earlier and when he checks the oil, thick black sludge comes pouring out. THEY NEVER EVEN CHANGED MY OIL!!!!!! Just let me run it into the ground expecting I'd come back to them for some shotty repair by them so they could get more money out of us. We had everything repaired that we could afford by a different mechanic but we also have a monthly payment on this truck of 206.95 until 2019, it's put a huge strain on us financially. At this point we are paying wayyyyy more than the value of the vehicle being a 2003 and bought with 104,000miles. To top it all off, 3 days ago while idling in traffic it started making horrific squealing sounds. When we started moving it immediately started smoking and the temp light came on the dash even though it wasn't reading as overheating on the gauge. My boyfriend and I are so fed up, we ditched it in a parking lot and are just going to let it get re-poed and buy something else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THIEVES!!!
Guy sold us a car with bad engine and told us that the car is in perfect condition, when it started to give us problems we could not reach him for two days, when we did got hold of him he told us tough luck we stuck with the car, he took money from us and now we stuck with scrap metal....never buy cars from this con artist
