The price advertised on the website for an item at a particular store is not the price that's charged once you get there. Order and pay online for best price. Still, it's deceptive and disappointing.

The people here are amazing! I was pulled over for a broken headlight, and the cop recommended stopping into autozone for a quick fix; I had no idea that was even something they could help with. Simon and Sheryl helped me find the best headlight for me (and explained the different options), then replaced it luckily split. Everyone was polite and friendly--overall a winning experience.

I own several cars and when I need certain parts I go to this Autozone in Kingston, NY.. Recently I needed help with getting the right attachment to connect the main pipe to my muffler. Benjamin was extremely helpful so I want to thank him via this review..I must say I always feel that I am taken good care of when I am looking for help at this Autozone.

terrible web site- i type in year make and model for exhaust parts and i get no pictures, just a description of the parts. doesn't tell me if in stock

Ms Tiffany stayed late to help me switch my headlights, even went in after hours to switch the headlights because i purchased the wrong one. She’s the best worker to ever help me here!

Needed to get transmission fluid for a Kia Soul and a transmission filter kit, store manager was one of the rudest people i have ever met. She loudly announced that she was leaving a customer on hold to pretend like she was looking for a part she knew they had, then when we asked what transmission fluid would be best she gave us a very condescending answer after we told her we didn't really know what we were looking at/for. We were not impressed with our visit here.

I had to replace my wiper blades on my 2023 Tacoma. I asked the girl behind the counter what she recommended. I told her price wasn’t an issue, but I didn’t want cheap ones, nor did I want to pay for over priced ones. She recommended the ones she uses, but they didn’t have what I needed in stock. So instead of trying to sell me to the most expensive ones as a replacement she recommended an alternative that was close to the price of the original ones she recommended. She also installed them for me, and pointed out the ones she had on her vehicle, which were the ones she recommended first. So I was impressed by the service and honesty I was shown. Based on my experience, in the future as long as this location has what I need, I will buy there even if they are more expensive. For me customer service out ways price, within reason. Great job making me feel like an important customer.

I needed new windshield wiper blades and after purchase requested to have a salesperson install them if they werent too busy. My car has an unusual wiper arm that makes changing the blades a bit tricky . The manager came out to check on the progress as a newer employee was trying to put them on ; she did a great job of a demo for him (without making him feel embarrassed ) and also of putting the blades on expertly . I would definitely recommend this Auto Zone for any auto needs:)

I went to AutoZone in Kingston around 6:30 PM Fri. to solve a torn off front license plate issue. I want to let you know that the 2 young men were incredibly helpful and kind to me and solved my problem pretty quickly. I want to thank them and your company for being a wonderful addition to our local business community. Very grateful for good people here in our community.

Update: Finally called and pretended they might do something, and I haven't heard from them since.TL:DR Brand new Duralast Gold alternator was DOA right out of the box and they don't seem to care. Alternator problems 230 miles from home sent me to a very helpful mechanic 1/2 mile down the road from the local AutoZone. Unfortunately the bad alternator my regular mechanic had installed here in Kingston (all of 2100 miles earlier) had come from AutoZone so that's where I was looking for the warranty replacement. The local mechanic had me back on the road by 10 the next morning, but literally 10 miles down the road I started hearing bearing noises. 50 miles down the road the brand new alternator was putting out 10 or 11 volts instead of 14. Still waiting to hear if AutoZone will do the right thing and pay for the labor to install another warranty replacement immediately after I paid to install the DOA alternator. Left a message with the district manager's assistant a week ago, but not a peep.

Today my step daughter and I brought her mom’s car here, looking for help with changing the taillights. We knew how to do it but couldn’t get the pieces off. Joseph Bonelli went above and beyond until he safely got the pieces off for us, told us what bulbs we needed, and installed them. Great service, truly appreciated.

Been here many times and all as it should be until today: I went in to buy a battery and turn in some oil for recycling. Brought the oil to the counter and the guy opened up the bottles to smell them. The guy said he could not accept them because they were contaminated. Like he got a degree in smelling oil from wine school? One bottle was an antifreeze container which was used for years for water before I used it to fill it with used oil, so it was clean. He said that microscopic particles still cling to the side. The other container he first accepted then changed his mind in some kind of power move. The oil was just used dyi motor oil, changed by me, from oil I bought at that very store. It is the law to accept it and I should not be given a hard time for being responsible and bringing it in. There were no contaminants other than what passed from the engine. There is no law that states I have to return it in an oil container. I am of the mind to take my parts shopping elsewhere and bring used oil here from now on.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL WILL NEVER GO BACK. I tried to find a/c coolant. Staffing was TOTALLY RUDE, lazy & unhelpful. They wouldn’t help me find the correct item for my car, just pointed at a shelf full of cans & when I again asked for help they ignored me, refused to show me how to use the item. It was 95° out, my a/c had quit & I was desperate, I had my dog with me.I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN PATRONIZE THOSE LAZY INCOMPETENTS.

Ms Tiffany went above and beyond to figure out my return on a side of their system she did not know I was from out of town so I couldn’t return to fix my issue and was leaving that night I appreciate everything she did and she is a great part of your AutoZone team that’s why I always return.

I always had good service at this store but this last transaction they really went above and beyond what any other local store has done in the past for me. I can't say enough other than THANK YOU to the entire staff!

This review is in reference to a gentleman by the name of, James, that works in the Kingston NY location. After receiving eight wrong parts for my vehicle, (which was my fault), I was stranded several towns away, while the mechanic had my vehicle on the lift, and attempting to make all repairs necessary. I placed a call to the store, and James absolutely went above and beyond to get me the correct parts for my vehicle. Not only did James get the correct parts for my vehicle but, he arranged to have them delivered to the mechanic at no cost, and also pick up the wrong parts and exchange them. Because of this employees attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond his duties and, give special attention to my problem, I was able to have my car repaired on time and back to me by the end of the day while I was out working myself. James and, this particular location will always have my business, and I will forever speak highly of this employee and his courteous and prompt attention to help me with my problem.

Went to two different stores for a jeep washer nozzle. At the second they said they can order one for me, but not to my door. I ordered on Amazon before leaving the store.

Absolute horrible service. The place is run by trashy people that the minute they know theyve done wrong they become irrate and start making personal comments about the person who caught them in their error. I was told to leave the store after I demanded these people to correct an issue. The chick literally said, i just chose a part and wished it the best. Like are we serious? The task was simple... pull a warranty from a part i bought not even 3 months ago and refund me the money i spent on it... well no, this chick just decided to click a part bought in November of last year! So now my money is completely lost because i no longer use the card they sent it to. She even made a comment "not everyone that comes in here uses so many cards.. i wish i had lost control.. i really do. These people are the worst and i would NEVER recommend them to anyone..

This store has been consistently good for a typical auto parts retail chain. It offers everything you would expect from that kind of store including knowledgeable staff who are willing to be helpful. You can access the store's parking by turning at the traffic light onto Home Depot's access road. Then use the first right to turn into the small shopping center's parking lot, which is where this Auto Zone is located.

Great & there when we needed them! My car's battery died very late in the evening. We got there 8 minutes to closing and staff were friendly, helpful, and got us back on the road.

Terrible customer service. Bought defective Bosch wiper blade. Was told it had to be old because rubber fell off. Brought in next day. Then was told nothing they could do because receipt had hole in bar code. Really. Awful. Never again

Not great but not horrible. Staff was all behind the counter so had to get someone's attention to get assistance. Got what I needed. This is tye first auto zone experience I had where nobody offered to help me put the item on my car.

I wanna give a big shout out to Joe from autozone thank you so much for replacing my wiper blades out for me when another one of your associates would not come out and change them for me. We were in the middle of an ice storm and my wiper blades were not up to part because of all the ice. And one associate told me no they would not help me help me and that they were not doing wiper blades. Joe came out and changed my wiper blades without him I would not have made it home safely. Without him my kids would be After mother and their father because I could not see to drive home. Thank you Joe so much. He deserves more than 5 stars and that is why I am giving a 5 star rating is because of Joe Bonelli.

There is a big sign that says "masks must be worn to enter" I think okay they are going to enforce the masks cool. The second I walk in every single employee has their mask down WHILE HELPING CUSTOMERS I immediately walked out

Recently went there for parts. The person who helped me was a woman. I was so impressed. She was very helpful. Explained everything I had a question about. She was very good at her job!
