Over the holidays my son and I leased a car from Prestige Hyundai. Fortunately we were placed in the hands of David Winnie as our sales rep. He took tremendous care to explain the balance of leasing vs ownership and all the options we should consider. He worked with us to get a vehicle with all the options we wanted. He even came in on his day off to arrange for us to test drive the car on a clear day. I cannot say enough good words about the care and attention he gave us. I had a great experience with my purchase at Prestige. Jennifer, my sales rep, was knowledgable and quick to respond to questions. Upon my decision to purchase the vehicle I was told that it had a stop sale on it due to a rearview camera recall from the manufacturer. Since I couldn't complete the purchase, I was assured that they would look into what was needed for the fix, and promised they would follow up regularly until we had an answer. I received a few calls with updates, and then within 2 weeks, Prestige was able to provide the manufacturer recommended recall repair. The delivery process was quick and easy. Even sitting with the finance person, Amy, was honest, quick, and painless. I would definitely recommend Jennifer, Amy and Prestige moving forward!

Tried Hyundai customer service, Hyundai Bluelink, Electrify America, Hyundai sales manager and Hyundai service manager. No one can fix my problem (connection to my utility company for off-peak charging). No one even tries. Don't bother getting a Hyundai or using Prestige Hyundai. Responding to the owner...I did get the app on my phone. My wife did lease from Prestige Hyundai 4/25. I don't know the sales reps name. Hyundai still hasn't been any help. They can call either one of us (just check your records).

Absolutely terrible service. I was misled on cost and timing, denied basic accommodations, and then met with silence and repeated delays. The lack of communication and accountability was staggering. Completely unreliable. Avoid this service department.

Truly horrific experience with Prestige Hyundai Service. I will be driving to Albany for service from now on. They bait-and-switched me on a repair estimate. Even after I reluctantly agreed to the higher cost, they refused to provide a loaner and then completely collapsed on communication and scheduling. On Tuesday morning, I was told the parts would arrive within two days and that the repair itself would take about two hours. Because I live about an hour away and was told it would only be a two-day turnaround, I left my car with them. Despite this, I was unable to reach anyone on Thursday after multiple calls and emails. On Friday, I again called and emailed—still no response—until I finally stated in an email that I would file a police report if I didn’t receive an update. Only then did someone call me back, telling me the parts were in, but they “couldn’t get to the repair” on Friday. Now it’s Saturday, and I’ve just been left a voicemail that they can’t do the repair today either. This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is astonishing. Avoid this service department like the plague.

Don't take your car here if you care about your wheels or suspension, or if your car rides low. All the work I've had here went well until last time I got my car back with a cracked wheel. It took me a couple days to get it checked out, called up the dealership and told him I wasn't coming after them for money or anything, I just wanted to talk about it, I never heard back. I'm quite certain it was them because their parking lot is absolutely filled with craters, and my wheel wasnt cracked before I brought it in. I bought a new wheel no problem, I wasn't going to ask them to pay for it, I just wanted to mention maybe fixing the parking lot would be a good idea

I purchased a car from Prestige Auto and have been very happy so far with the entire process. Jennifer Gallagher was my sales lady. She was knowledgeable, kind and funny. It made finding and purchasing a car fun and exciting. I have stopped in a couple times to ask her a few questions about some of the features. She always makes the time to come outside and go over them with me. I highly recommend this dealership and Jennifer.

Brandon Hendrick worked with me to provide a smooth, non-pressured transaction to trade in my older SUV for a new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SUV. He made sure at every step that I understood clearly all about the new car, he listened well to my questions and provided clear answers. When picking up my new car he spent all the time I needed to make sure I understood all the features and functions and when I had an issue some weeks late with getting a new cell phone to connect to the car via bluetooth, he diagnosed what I was doing incorrectly on my cell phone, helped me correct it and made sure I understood what my problem and solution was. The team that handled processing my trade-in, providing a car loan and getting my new car prepped and registered was equally professional and ensured that I was clear on everything along the way.

Bought a 2025 limited Tuscon in Cashmere Bronze. Both the salesperson Brandon Hendrick and the sales manager Mark certainly earned their stars working with me as I have been called difficult at times. All went well the sales experience was better than expected. I now have 15k trouble free miles. The service was also done well with good communications Believe it ir not , I gave up a 2020 BMW x3 and have no regrets

I don't normally post reviews but since I did a review search before I decided to try Prestige Hyundai myself, I thought it would be closing the circle nicely. It was a very spontaneous decision based on the EV rebates ending so I didn't have time to physically visit a lot of dealers. I am glad I trusted the reviews here as this was definitely the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership! Brandon and Amy were awesome in every way. I would highly recommend! (And so far the car is amazing!)

I recently leased an automobile from Prestige Auto and Jennifer Gallagher was the salesperson who took care of me. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the functions of the car and was sharing that knowledge with me. She was very patient and professional in her approach and took care of all the incidentals that go into leasing a car. Throughout the entire process, which took several days she helped make it a bearable procedure. She made it very clear that if I had any issues or questions concerning any functions of the car, she was just a phone call away or I could just drop by the showroom while she was there, and she would provide whatever assistance was needed. Prestige and Jennifer have been very accommodating. I wanted to make a quick purchase and they facilitated that. Where the instruction book is vague, or unclear, they're available to answer questions and to advise about the car. I found Jennifer to be straight-forward and reliable. As a bonus, the dealership wait area is clean and comfortable.

I love my car! In fact it is the best car I have ever owned. This is the sixth car I have owned. Buying experience was okay as I had to wait for and return the next day to get the car because of a slight error but the salesperson was professional and very helpful.

After some less than stellar experiences shopping for a new EV or hybrid car at VW and Subaru, I booked an appointment with Prestige Hyundai and bought a car within a couple of hours. David Winnie was my salesperson and was wonderful! He was so patient and knowledgeable and ensured my car was all set up to my satisfaction before I drove it out of the dealership. And so far, I am so impressed with my ioniq 5 EV. Thanks Dave!

Update: although the response from the general manager below was inaccurate regarding my particular situation, The finance department did start to take me seriously and found that Hyundai did send my refund to Prestige, but Prestige did not receive it. They requested that a new check be sent, and it was, and I received it today. I was in the position of needing to buy a car quickly and I purchased an Elantra and an extended warranty from this dealership. Within a few months I realized the car was a bit too small for me and I opted to trade and buy a Kia that I had my eye on at a different dealership. I went to Prestige with my odometer reading telling them that I had traded the Elantra, and that I was owed a balance for the extended warranty that I purchased and I was assured that would be a quick thing. I got an email from the wrap company that same day saying that my refund request was being processed. That was at the end of June. By the middle of August and several unanswered emails from Prestige, I called the wrap company who said that Prestige was mailed the check on July 3rd! When I threatened to talk to the general manager I did get a return email saying that it would be looked into, and another saying the check was mailed out last week ....and here I am , still with no check. Maybe this public review will help get my case solved?

I really wish there was more transparency for this place. First off I waited in my car for someone to check me in for my service like the sign says, and then they proceeded to check in 2 people behind me while I waited. Then I was told that because my check engine light was on they couldn’t go the inspection (which would have been great to know when I booked the appointment). I was told that the receptionists don’t work on the cars but I feel like this information could have been relayed before I made the appointment.

I would recommend Prestige of Kingston to everybody I know what a top notch establishment from the sales manager down to the person who detailed my vehicle I couldn't have found a better place to go. The sales manager Mark Brown the salesman's Aaron and Brandon and I can't forget the finance officer Angie we're all amazing. It was probably the best experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. The worst thing about it all is it'll be another 6 years before I get another one so I won't get to see them for a while because I will definitely come back here. My wife and I have been purchasing Dodge products for a couple of decades. We are currently in the market for a new vehicle but are looking elsewhere. We found the 2024 Dodge Durango to be overpriced for the outdated technology. We narrowed are choices down to the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade. I researched dealership ratings and reviews and found that Prestige Hyundai in Kingston had many satisfied customer experiences. After further reading I noticed that one name kept coming up in a very positive manner. It was Chris Hall, Salesman at Prestige Hyundai. I made an appointment with Chris to test drive a 2024 Palisade Night Edition. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and professional during our hour appointment. No pressure whatsoever. After test driving the Palisade my wife and I knew that this was the vehicle we were going to purchase. Sales Manager Mark Brown gave us a fantastic deal on our trade and was still able to discount the new vehicle. We closed the deal with Delivery Coordinator Angie Tricamo who made the process very easy and did not pressure us into purchasing unnecessary aftermarket warranties. My wife and I are very satisfied with the way we were treated at Prestige Hyundai and highly recommend them if you're in the market for a new or used vehicle. As for the Kia Telluride, it may share the same platform and powertrain but that's where it ends. The Palisade blows it away in looks, luxury and creature comforts.

I’m not one for writing reviews but this is definitely warranted!! I bought a car from the salesman Wilbur and let me tell you it was the best experience I have had yet!! I bought my first Elantra back in late august early September of 2021 and to be quite frank it saved my life. To make a long story short I rolled it about a month after I got it ( see pictures 1 & 2 ) and it saved my life! I wasn’t really looking for a car with a lot of safety features because who knows what the future holds. After rolling it I couldn’t thank Wilbur enough for selling me that model. This year back in February I bought another Elantra ( see picture 3 ) and I went to my guy Wilbur and I couldn’t be more satisfied!! The car has been absolutely amazing and I can’t thank Wilbur enough!
