Sent my wife’s 2015 Equinox to Matthew’s Collision and just absolutely blown away. These folks were amazing every step of the way. Professional and down to earth at the same time, kept us updated with the progress every step of the way and the car came out beautiful. Such a great crew of people so when we needed them for my 2024 Ram Warlock they were there and happy to help. The only collision center we will use!!!

The folks who work here are unprofessional and incompetent. I paid in cash for work. (I had a small dent and busted a rear reflector). They kept my car for days, waiting for insurance, after I had already explained that I would be paying out of pocket. In all that time, they still failed to order the parts I needed. I had to bring it back in another time due to this and it still took entirely too long to do the job. My vehicle was completely operable. Getting the work done was optional and cosmetic. Because of them, I was without my vehicle *twice* for prolonged periods. They did not apologize or offer any type of concession. I wouldn't say I would give them zero stars. They deserve their one star based solely on the mechanics that did a decent job with the repairs.

Don't even bother with this place. They have had my truck for almost 2 months and it was supposed to be done a week ago. I call the day it is supposed to be done I get told that they are waiting for more parts and it will done another day. This has happened 4 times now. They are completely disorganized and I keep getting the run around. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Stay far away.

The people are wonderful to work with! Always willing to go the "extra mile" to satisfy my needs. They deal directly with the insurance company, if needed. My Camaro looks great!

2 months so far to get hail damage done. Still don't have my car. Was told it would be ready by closing today. Made a trip back for it. Now told it still needs a part and won't be ready until Monday.

A few months ago, my 2019 Subaru Outback was in a minor fender bender, and as long-time, loyal customers at the Matthews dealerships, we figured that Matthews Collision would be a dependable place to fix my car. It only took them about three days to "fix" the damage on my car, which was nice; however, when returning home, I noticed that my front bumper and fender were misaligned. Once I saw this, it took them another 2 weeks to look at it- a heated phone call with the manager and another week for them to get it in to "fix" the bumper again (the part they needed allegedly arrived days prior but "forgot" to call us in) so finally, I take my car back and guess what- the bumper is still misalligned and sticking out, and I have to push it back into place when I walk out to my car, awesome! The staff brought me back to the workshop and told me that “this is the best it is getting…” A similar situation happened with a friend of mine's 2020 Nissan Rogue, where she also brought her vehicle here, where it was improperly repaired. Her bumper also pops out and has paint overspray on the side of her vehicle. What did Matthews Collison do? Oh, they couldn't find any time for them to fix their mistakes and ended up ghosting her (it's been months). And also, read into other reviews here and notice their issues with quality control. Save yourself the time and do NOT go to Matthews Collision unless you want to waste time, money, and your sanity. I have attached photos of my Subaru on the day of the last “fix,” August 20th and then the last time my bumper popped out, August 31. Update as of September 5th: After my review, they were able to get me in and repair my bumper correctly. It looks great now, though I still would not recommend taking your vehicle here, as it was such a hassle dealing with them. The bumper should have been fixed the first time, and when it wasn't, it should've been fixed correctly the second time, and I shouldnt have been told that it was the best it was going to get, as it is perfect now. But, in the end, we are happy with the outcome of my Subaru.

My car has been in the shop going on 40 days and I have had to pay very expensive rental fees. When I asked about the long delays, I was shut down by Cameron, given no answers, and dumped on a manager. My concerns were not even listened to nor did I get an apology. I would not recommend this place of business. It has extremely poor customer service.

Extremely dissatisfied with the office staff and points of contact with Matthews Collision. Brought my car here after a deer hit thinking an Erie Insurance Direct Repair Partner would handle things professionally. I was sadly mistaken. Dropping my car off I was assured my car would be returned well before my 45 days of rental coverage expired. That turned out to be a lie. The initial estimate was $8000-ish, upon disassembly that number jumped to over $16,000. No problem right insurance is covering it. Their poor judgement on the initial estimate was definitely a precursor to the way they handle business. Allegedly, they ordered the wrong bumper for my 330I, because the one they ordered didn't have parking sensors. Fun fact all BMW 330I's come standard with parking sensors. The bumper situation turned into almost a 4 week ordeal, 2 weeks to receive, and 2 weeks to paint and install it. That's basically what their updates would lead me to believe. With my 45 days of rental coverage quickly coming to an end, my fiance started calling them more about the timeline of when the car would be done. With them always having a different reason as to why the car isn't done. On day 44 of Matthews having the car, they said it was done minus the hood emblem. I was notified of that 30 min before they closed for the day, I live 40 min away. On day 45, I called and told them I needed the car, the hood emblem can wait. I was then notified the car wouldn't take coolant, and they'd file an extension for my rental. If the car doesn't have coolant, it needs more than an emblem doesn't it? I returned the rental on day 45 after calling Erie and them informing me there is no extension available 45 days is the max my coverage allowed. Day 46 Erie insurance calls me and tells me that my car is done. I told them that's news to me because I've heard nothing from Matthews. I express my frustrations to Erie with the way that this has been handled by Matthews. 20 minutes later Matthews calls me to inform me the car is done. Awesome it's Friday and I'm at work so I can't get the car till Monday because their office is closed on the weekends Upon picking the car up I signed paperwork saying I owed Matthews $0.00. Received my keys and left with my car. Hours after picking up my car Matthews automated services texted wanting a review. I didn't plan on writing one, until they called and informed me they made a mistake and I "owe" them money. I too made a mistake, and my mistake was bringing my car to Matthews. Their lack of preparedness, clarity, and organization is appalling. After my experience with their Collision Center I won't consider using any auto center with Matthews name attached to it.

Went in on February 7th to get an estimate (s) on my car. Everyone was very nice. It just seems like Matthews hires all the polite knowledgeable and respectful employees. Thank you to all the employees at all Matthews locations for being who you are.

Very good job. I inspected the car before I took it with one of their managers. I went over every inch that I could look for, which turned out very nice. I would recommend Matthews Collision Center to anyone .

The body work was great. We had a problem with the paint on the bumper. When they repainted it, the inner fenders were not attached properly. They ordered all new parts and was VERY courteous and apologetic. Great shop and very good staff. Mistakes can happen to anyone and I would definitely use this shop again if needed.

This is the most unprofessional worst body shop I have ever came encounter with. In 2019 they worked on multiple parts of my 2013 Chevy Camaro. It was a big project and I knew it would take a long time. However, they lied about the timeline multiple times. They were incredibly rude and disrespectful to me when I would ask questions about my car. My car came back with orange peal paint completely unacceptable, yet they wouldn’t fix it. After a year of my car being supposedly fixed the paint cracked exactly where they welded the quater panel together. I had to go somewhere else where they fixed my drainage system from my sunroof that they never did allowing it to leak in my trunk. My passenger door that they replaced was not put on correctly and I had to get that fixed. My rear windshield had to be reset because it was put in improperly, clearly not even on both sides. Also, the cover to my gas tank was perfectly flush to my car before the accident, after the repair it stuck out and was no longer flushed. When I pointed this out to them they argued with me and told me it was like that before and that there was nothing they could do to fix it. Turns out it is fixable, I went to someone else and got it fixed, he said it should have never been an issue. This was just lazy work. To this day in 2024, 5 years later after receiving my “fixed” car, it still needs to be fixed. The paint was never sealed correctly therefore water is getting under the paint and is starting to rust exactly where they repaired. In the many years I had my car before this repair I had 0 issues with the paint or rust. If you want a body shop that cares not only about the vehicle they are working on but the customer as well go to Yager’s Body Shop located on Conklin Road

We were so pleased with Matthews Collision Center. My car a Subaru looks like a brand new vehicle, the work done was incredible. The entire staff was extremely caring, very friendly and the work was done quickly and professionally. They took a stressful time and made the whole process as easy as could be. From the initial quote to drop off, to work being done to the finished car, we were kept informed continuously. Thank you so much. We would highly recommend having a vehicle repaired at Matthews Collision Center.

Absolutely will never bring a vehicle to be fixed here ever again. I had light damage in the front and needed a driver side door. They also did not do the full scope of work that they told me they would do. They also kept giving me the run around why the were not done and kept saying it would be a couple more days which really meant couple more weeks. The driver interior section was a complete mess when I picked it up. Very unprofessional.

I brought my 2015 Chevy trailblazer down to this body shop after I hit a deer and it basically took out my whole front end and the service was unbelievable I mean absolutely fantastic everyone was so nice welcoming and understanding cuz of course I was a mess it’s my only vehicle. They went a little over the time frame they said it would be done but I didn’t even care I got my car back and honestly it looked way better in the front then when I bought the car on market place. 10/10 service, communication, and the work is phenomenal!! Definitely recommend if you want your car to look just as good as new!!

My wife's Rogue was rear ended in September and she hit a dead deer in February. Both times we took the car to Matthews Collision. They started work right away and constantly communicated about status and schedule. The work was finished quickly, using mostly Nissan parts, and paint was matched perfectly. Their attention to detail and customer service was refreshing after being brushed aside and ignored by the local Car Star shop.

Very disappointed. Took my daughter's car there 5 weeks ago after she hit a deer. Car still not finished when we call to check on status reason for delay is always different. As well as when insurance company calls to check on status. I expected better from Matthews. My husband was a former employee of one the Matthews dearships in the area. Which is why we chose them over other body shops will not make that mistake again! 😔 Called yet again and got the run around car still not done !!! I would like to thank Jim Morse for his help in getting my daughter's car completed. One phone call to him and the next day it was ready for pick up. Need more managers like him!!!

I got into my first ever accident when I hit a deer late one night. I was referred to Matthew’s Collision Center by my mechanic to fix the damage to the front of my car. My hood was a little smooshed, my bumper out of place, and my passenger headlight was smashed. I made an appointment for an estimate in which Chris Boulter assessed the damage and came up with a cost effective solution. He was understanding of my wants and extraordinarily helpful. The other employees I interacted with; Trish, Sandy, and Nikki, were all kind and equally as helpful. They answered my every question and we’re a pleasure to interact with. The repairs to my car were completed quickly and done well. Overall my experience with Matthew’s Collision Center was extremely positive and if I ever am in need of repairs again, I know where I’ll be going.

The Collision group from Chris to Nicki and the whole front office team was very helpful, friendly & explained what was going on with my car throughout the repair process. The end result is a great repair that no one would know too place based on the paint color matching. Great work & I would recommend them any time!

I chose Matthew’s because I bought my GTI through them a few years ago and have stuck with them for all service. I had a 1:00 appointment to get an estimate on front end damage after I hit a deer. When I arrived, I was told that the two estimators were on the phone with insurance companies and that it might be a little while. I was waiting for 30 mins before I left. They even let a claims adjuster come in and talk with them while I was waiting. I took off work for the appointment and went out in pretty nasty weather just to sit on their couch. Pretty bad customer service Matthews. I then went to CarStar HillCrest was in and out in 15 minutes.

Very professional work! I was well taken care of and updated on the status of my car all along the repair process. I want to give a shoutout to the office staff who helped me along like a long lost relative, as well as the service manager and his assistant, who all described in detail what was going to be done and how long that was expected to take. They have a great relationship with the car rental company and took care of the little details of returning a rental car that can get worrisome. They also washed and detailed my car before it was returned to me. They did it so well, my friends think i got a new car. In dealing with the stressful problems of repair after a car accident, these people could teach the other collision places how it's done.

After someone backed into my car and took off Matthew's body shop did a great job of making my one-year-old car look new again. They even detailed the inside and made it smell like a new car again! Would recommend…
