If anyone is looking to buy a car, go see Jamie Blunt. Seriously one of the best car salesmen I’ve dealt with. He made the whole process easy, answered every question I had, and never made me feel pressured. He actually took the time to make sure I got the right car and the best deal possible. Buying a car can be stressful, but Jamie made it smooth from start to finish. Great customer service, honest, and really cares about helping people. I’m super happy with my experience. Most businesses want a customer; this dealership wants a restraining order. I moved to NY a few years ago, and these guys immediately bought my data including the make, model, and approximate milage of my vehicle and immediately started sending me targeted and personalized marketing -Not at all off-putting or creepy. For years, they’ve spammed my mailbox 4 to 6 times a month with fake 'handwritten' letters, practically weeping over the unprecedented, mind-blowing, once-in-a-lifetime deal they just have to give me for my car. They read less like marketing and more like reverse ransom notes. I feel like I have a highly motivated stalker with an unsettling fetish for mid-size sedans. I’ve never set foot nor tire on their lot, I’ve called repeatedly asking them to stop, but apparently 'no' means 'send me more mail.' If they are this aggressively clingy and boundary-stomping before we've even met,- I am pretty sure I don't want to have an actual relationship with them - like ever.

My service advisor was awesome! I will say the mechanics,some,not all are sloppy with their work. Example, had oil change. When I was a Nissan mechanic I wiped clean the area above and around before and after I changed the oil filter. The guy left dripping old black fluid dribbling along side new oil filter and the top of area was wet with old oil. Wheel alignment was done well. Except if I was service advisor I would have showed customer the strut was off and needed removed replace for perfect alignment. I was not shown anything until I took it back in minutes later cuz under panel needed to be buttoned up. I said my service advisor was awesome because her customer service,tolerance of my dog and her updates of "when" it could be ready. The cost is 159.99 shophour. However flatrate matters per job. They seem fair with parts in terms of price,but per hour in my opinion is too high for this area. Matthews AUTO group has billions of dollars going thru them..wish they would think of customers per hour price and lower it. They will not go bankrupt if they did. Baxter Big boy says hi "woof,woof"

Go see Paul Wakefield! I had a previous bad experience, but he restored my faith in car salesmen. As a woman, buying a car can feel intimidating, but Paul will treat you like family and ensure you are happy and get great service. Five stars! He even offered to help me with other Matthew’s locations if I wanted something there.

Unprofessional experience with service advisor Matt Taft. From my initial arrival, he was aggressive and spoke to me in a belittling and dismissive manner about a New York State inspection requirement, despite me confirming the situation with the DMV beforehand. This was done in front of a full lobby, including my employer, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. While an apology was offered at the end, it does not undo being publicly embarrassed in front of my boss and a room full of strangers. Additionally, I was told by the parts department that installation would be free, yet I was still charged labor. Due to the poor treatment and lack of clear communication, I will not be returning and would not recommend this dealership.

The technician Mason who serviced my vehicle was very kind. Excellent service from start to finish. Technician was courteous and took the time to explain my vehicle’s needs in a way that was easy to understand. The oil change was done promptly, pricing was fair, and I felt confident I was getting honest recommendations.

Phenomenal service shop! No other shop could balance my truck wheels but they could. They also did an alignment too Very professional and they take pride in their work. Some employees are a little snappy but others are extremely professional - the lady that does customer service is fantastic

The worst dealership ever, bought a new car , when they was getting it ready for pick they put a chip in the back bumper, they touched it up, poorly. I called and called, they never fixed it. Brand new car. Now I have a seat that is ripped. I stoped in they said I will have the manager call you tomorrow, tomorrow never came. I heard nothing. Other people told me not to go to this dealership, but I didn’t listen. So like the bumper I paid someone else to fix now I have to pay someone to fix the seat. Never seen a dealership like this. Should have stayed with Williams Ford

After I totaled my 2023 Nissan, I was afraid I wouldn’t find another car that I liked. I had been treated poorly at another dealership and I had lost hope in finding that “right car”. I had a misconception that a new car dealership would have over priced cars and “shark like” salesmen. Then I walked into Matthew’s Nissan and met Justin. He took the time with us to discuss different vehicles and test drive the ones we were interested in without the prospect of a sale. He worked with us to secure our perfect family car at a great price and interest rate. He never tried to push the sale. I love my new 2024 Nissan! The customer service at Matthews Nissan didn’t stop there. Justin made himself available to answer any questions I had after the sale. I will certainly be going back next time.

Me and my family have purchased vehicles from the Matthews Auto Family for many years. The interactions and overall experience that we’ve had has been pretty fantastic, until now. We have never purchased a vehicle from their Nissan Dealership until now. And unfortunately it just wasn’t a good overall experience. The biggest issues/ concerns we had are as follows: We felt the sales team were being overly pushy with trying to sell an extended warranty after being told no several times. After paperwork was signed and we went out to the car, it was disappointing to see that whoever did the final preparation for delivery left yellow and blue marks (with probably a dry erase marker) in various areas around the car. Thankfully we were able to run them all off with our fingers/ rags. Then I noticed the antenna was missing from the roof?! How did numerous people miss this? Then we discovered the owners manual was missing?! We decided to go run an errand while they searched for the antenna and manual. After about 30min we returned. They had found an attached the antenna, but didn’t locate the manual. They said they had to order it, which required it to be printed (none in stock) and then shipped to the dealership which would take approximately a month. Overall, we still love the Matthews Auto Group as a whole, but we were let down by our initial (and maybe our last) experience at their Nissan dealership. It’s unfortunate, as we were considering buying for our next vehicles an all wheel drive Altima and a Pathfinder. Time will tell.

This was my first time ever purchasing a brand new vehicle and I was a bit anxious with everything involved. Justin took time to explain the loan process, keeping the payments within my budget, and the workings of the vehicle helping to make the experience a bit less scary. He took the time to show me where the maintenance garage was and introduced me to one of the maintenance team members.

MATHEWS MAKES NEWS!!!!! Brought in a 2023 Rogue with 5100 miles on it...lessed 18 months ago from an Albany dealer with Security Plus, a pre paid maintaince warranty...got right in and it took about 45 minutes!!! Fabulous greeting from Andrea the service manager. Quick and easy!!! Only 1 negative...they need to put up a sign or arrow directing to the service area as it is in a seperate building....100% satisfied with all facets of the experience!!! KT
