The service department here has tried to take advantage of me on so many occasions I've lost count. Years ago they tried to get me to replace an engine in a Sierra 2500 Diesel telling me they tested it and the motor was the problem - turned out there was a hole in a coolant hose. They tried to get me to replace Rotors and brakes all the way around on another truck, but they must have not realized the brakes and rotors weren't more than a week old before they called me and tried to get me for $2500. Today I had an appointment for an inspection and a tail light replacement, which was set a week in advance, and they didn't even bother looking at the truck. I called 25 minutes before close to find out they just felt like wasting my time. After 20 years of misplaced loyalty to Matthews, I won't be returning.

I have never bought a car from Matthews nor have I bought one without my husband present. My husband passed away in December of 2025. I called Matthews just to ask some questions and had the pleasure of speaking with Gabe Simmons who explained several options to me with kindness and patience. I did make an appointment to meet with him to weigh my options and look at some cars. I can not express how kind and patient he was. He took his time to explain everything to me. Gabe was never pushy or made me feel like he was itching take a sale. He simply wanted me to be happy with whatever decision I made. I did purchase a beautiful 2023 GMC Terrain and am proud to send any friends or family to Gabe because I am certain he will treat them with the same kindness,respect and patience!!!

Liam was very attentive and prepared, thorough and intuitive. He was even a little out of his comfort zone, working in a different office and dealing with a different process than he was accustomed to, but made sure to work closely with the GM Chevy sales reps and finance to get everything worked out for me.

Bought two cars in 2019 for Matthew Chevrolet one brand new which made lots of promises by the salesman Jack, who has since retired they screwed up the title very first thing then the problems really started spent three hours there for an oil change on both cars only got one done complain to the general manager, and the service manager was told by Mike Ryder that I would be taken care of made an appointment for the oil change get done it was a Saturday. Nobody knew nothing waiting a half hour before they even pulled the car in when I was the first person of the day if that’s how you get taken care of be careful so I didn’t go there for a long time and then I had a dealer problem on my equinox called to talk to Mike Rider couldn’t get him picked up told her of my problems and the things that had before which she knew about most of them was told that I would be called or contacted by the end of the day. It’s been two days and no call no contact Mike rider must be the problem because he certainly is not the answer. I guess I will never do business with Matthews again, ever not to mention when I had my Malibu in for an oil change and asked him to look for an exhaust leak. They couldn’t find one by Cole muffler. Let me look under the car. You could put your hand right in the muffler for a mechanic can’t find a whole lot big he shouldn’t be a mechanic needless to say very unhappy with Matthew service some of the people are nice, but obviously the management is the problem. They can’t return calls. Don’t take care of people and lie to you when you buy a car. I will never return to the shop because I can’t talk to you run don’t go there.

I was looking for a specific new vehicle and Matthews had one in stock. It seemed effortless to make my purchase. All the sales representatives were helpful and seemed as though they worked as a team as well as individually. I asked to deal with Tim C. on his day off, Cole stepped up and filled in until Tim was back the fillowing day. Both were exceptional to deal with. If you ar looking for a new or used vehicle, Matthew's GMC/Cadillac/Chevy is a great place to start looking.

My experience was horrible. I received poor customer service and rudeness, from the time I walked in the door. Excuses were made to not complete the services that were scheduled as part of my appointment. I was lied to and misinformed about the condition of my vehicle. My vehicle was assessed by inappropriate technicians based on their scope of service. I was not given opportunity to fix things that were identified. All of this poor service and not wanting to perform scheduled services was because the department closed at 5pm which was actually emphasized by the service writer. My appointment was scheduled 2 weeks prior online with all of the needed services indicated in the appointment scheduling. My appointment request was reviewed and confirmed by a service writer. If the time slot was not a long enough duration. I should have been contacted to reschedule, which I was not. I left with service not completed and problems not fixed both of which effect the integrity of my vehicle. I was informed of a simple fix with my vehicle which was not fixed, however the paperwork indicated the problem to me much worse and extensive to justify their not completomf it. I do not intend on returning to this location nor recommend it to anyone else. If I could give this review it would be such.

3 options were added to contract without any anyone asking me if was interested in them. There was absolutely no mention of them at all until I was there signing contract. I thought I was buying a $27500 car and when I got there to sign contract it was a 35000 car including tax. With added expenses of $6000 that I was not asked if I wanted at no point.this will stop me from ever purchasing from Matthews again. The three options added without my knowledge were Auto Armor at $1495 Zurich service contact $3699 on a brand new car with its own warranty. Matthews auto rewards $799 for 84 months . Update Matthews has reached out and rectified the situation I appreciate them reaching out. Although still feel strongly in my original response I will chalk it up to a misunderstanding or mistake.

Need a new vehicle ? Go to Badr Elhamraoui at Matthews Chevrolet. This is my first vehicle I purchased at Matthews and Badr made the entire process easy to understand including from initial inquiry to ultimately driving away in my new 2025 GMC Sierra Elevation. Badr answered all my questions with detail and helped me understand all the possible options within my budget. In fact, he got me into a truck under my budget and included full coverage warranty and Mathew’s care plan. I did not think I could get this nice of a truck in my budget range, and he made it all possible. Big Thanks to Badr!!! I couldn’t be happier with my new purchase.
