Tony's customer service was exceptional. His team got me 4 new tires and an alignment at the end of the night after a long work day (for everyone involved!) I really appreciate all of their last minute help!!
I live 2 hours away, and I booked a pre-purchase inspection with the Firestone in Vestal. The team was so supportive and accommodating. They agreed to take the car the next day for maintenance after I finalized the purchase and even helped me get the plates and registration sticker attached to the vehicle. I would greatly recommend them to anyone in the area. They are friendly, honest, and thorough, and if I ever need repairs in that area, I will go through them.
Robert and the crew took great care of my elderly in-laws car. They're on a tight budget and wanted economy tires, but we were treated with anything but economy care. We're so greatful for the phenomenal service we received! Highly recommended!
My experience at Firestone in Vestal was great! Tony was extremely kind and helpful, going above and beyond to get the parts that my car needed to ensure that my car could be fixed as soon as possible. He was very communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely go back if I have car troubles again!
Tony is excellent. Highly recommended working with him. I’ve had issues with this location in the past but he assured me I can go back without any problems moving forward. My total was higher than expected but was taken care of by Tony after he heard my concerns.
I brought my truck here for a NYS Inspection. After waiting over an hour, I was told that my vehicle failed inspection for a worn ball joint and I would have to replace it in order to pass (although the DMV says specifically that ball joints are NOT a reason to reject a vehicle). He also said he could have failed me for my tires because they were dry rot despite having good thread. Even though I told him I wasn't interested in a quote and was ready to head out. He decided to quote me for the ball joint replacement anyway ($500+) and attempted to pressure me into the firestone credit card. At that moment I wasn't completely sure if that was a valid reason to fail but I had a gut feeling something wasn't right and I had the upper ball joints for both sides sitting at home. After some research I called to get an explanation as to why my vehicle was failed for a part thats not included in the inspection and why a replacement was needed in order to pass. I was told that it wasn't failed and I was trying to play word games. Although it wasn't passed for inspection either. After going back and forth about DMV regulations and requirements I was told it was at his discretion so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and ended the call. Moments later he called me back from his personal line to argue about regulations (assuming he didn't want to have this conversation on a recorded line) I had sitting directly in my face from dmv.ny.gov. At that point it went from a ball joint replacement to my sway bars being broken. Now I'm concerned about what may or may not have been touched while they had my vehicle and will be completely going through my suspension parts to make sure everything is fine. Moral of the story, be mindful if you decide to bring your car here for an inspection. I know shops don't make much money conducting these inspections but trying to shake me down for a repair to "pass" is very poor customer service and down right shady as hell. Don't be afraid to take your car somewhere else and get a second opinion.
Tony and the team at Firestone (Vestal, NY) were immediately attentive to my concerns. The team asked good questions in order to diagnose the issue, and they did the work expeditiously and accurately. Additionally, every team member acted in a polite and professional manner. They treated me as the most important customer (as they did with the other customers in the store, as well). I highly recommend Firestone in Vestal, NY. Tony and his team are fantastic!

I needed an urgent NYS Inspection on my work Truck. I don’t have time other than Sunday. So I visited this place without an appointment for my NYS inspection. They took me in and did everything in 15 minutes. They were very helpful and polite. Thank you for your great service.
I am very happy with the service I have gotten over the years for the various vehicles that we have had. They are what I call "straight shooters" who tell me straight what is my current vehicles problem. I would recommend them for sure.
We were traveling to NY - Long island, my vehicle is 2020 X7, suddenly low tire pressure indicator came on and my driver side rear tire completely gone - i had no idea what to do, called Bob here 30 mins from closing in panic mode , he said bring it over let me see what I can do, took the car in and came out 15 mins later - “ You guys are lucky, I will fix it and have you guys on the road soon” - can’t explain how we all felt - hearing that - such an amazing place !

I just had my second set of tires installed there and I can’t say enough about the shop. Bob and his guys take the time to call and talk to you and make suggestions. They are always looking to get you the best price and service. I would highly recommend calling Bob first!
Bob did an amazing job! Three of my tires popped at different times and he stayed overtime to fix the problem. There was no hassle and he was very respectful.
In true neighborhood style the guys at this Firestone location went above and beyond for me when I needed them. You see, for a couple of days my car’s computer kept warning me that I needed air in my tires. Given the sad fact that I have no clue how to address such a simple issue I stopped and asked them for help as I was driving down the Parkway. Without a moments hesitation they did what neighbors do … they extended kindness to me as they filled not just one but all four of my tires and then refused my offer of payment. May the Lord repay their kindness with blessings!

Extremely Disappointed After 10 Years of Loyalty
I’ve been bringing my car to Firestone for over 10 years, always trusting them with my maintenance and repairs. Until now, I’ve never once been charged a “diagnostic fee.” Today, I was shocked to be told I'd find a $100 diagnostic fee added to my bill for something they’ve never charged me for before.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the repairs were actually being completed. I could completely understand a diagnostic fee if I chose not to move forward with the repairs, but that wasn’t the case here. Charging loyal customers extra on top of approved repair work feels like an unreasonable money grab.
After a decade of consistent business, this experience makes it clear that Firestone no longer values customer loyalty. We will never bring our car to Firestone again. There are plenty of shops that treat their long-term customers with honesty and respect — and that’s where our business will go from now on.

The team here is awesome. They’re kind and treat you with respect. I was in a pinch to get my inspection done with two days before it expired - so they got me in right away (same day). And, when I had a flat on my tractor tire, they didn’t dismiss me when I brought it in. They took care of me like I was buying a complete set of tires.

I seem to have fully functional tires on my car so I'm giving them 3 stars but i have the following complaints:
1. Despite me calling twice to arrange service they never took down my number so when I called back after more than 24 hours of not hearing back after dropping my car they said they hadn't called me because they didn't have my phone number.
2. They added a $170 protection plan to my bill without asking and I only found out because I asked them to give me an itemized bill.
3. They dug through my car looking for something. I don't think that they stole anything but they left things from the compartments all over the seats and in between the seats where I had to dig out a credit card along other things. I don't see what they were doing looking through my stuff in the first place.
Called lots of places for a same day oil change and NYS car inspection (sorry we all can't plan ahead lol) but they took me with an appointment later in the afternoon. Service was quick, staff was kind and pleasant. 10/10

We didn’t get a service here, but had the car in for a second opinion on a dealer recommendation.
They were a bit busy when I walked in, so I had to wait a couple minutes for my scheduled appointment. It gave me some time to listen to the staff interact with the customers.
I want to say that they were professional and gave their best opinions. I saw them giving recommendations to every customer about what they needed done, and what they should have done. No pressure. I could tell they were very aware of the cost and how that affects customers.
When my turn came, Bob gave me the same courtesy and weighed my options between his shop and what the dealer wanted me to do. No pressure, no guilt. He was honest and straightforward.
While this isn’t our usual shop, I think Bob and crew gained themselves a new customer with what I witnessed today. Thanks all!!
