There are at least three auto parts stores within a one mile radius of this area, but Advance Auto Parts is the one I always go to. The employees actually help you (also well staffed), are very pleasant & nice to work with, the prices are very reasonable and the shelves are stocked. For example, just a night ago, one of the late-night employees at this location -- Gil, saved me a bunch of money on a potential mechanic repair bill by going way out of his way to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle (which honestly was very simple but was something that I had overlooked) and corrected the problem. If not for Gil and his other fine coworkers, most all the other major auto part stores here in Lincoln (with the exception of the other Advance Auto Parts locations) would be stink... so Advance Auto Parts is and will always be my go-to store for automotive needs! Recently went here and asked for help with power steering since I didn't know what I was doing. I asked for help on which product to use and where to top it off in my suv. Long story short they told me to use the wrong freaking product! Brakes plus even said that advance auto can help fill which they didn't either. I'm now at a shop hoping it can be reversed. Thanks a lot. 😡
I was told 2 batteries were no good after leaving them on the overnight charger. Next day was told they were both bad. Without any info as to what was wrong or why. And they didn’t have the battery for me to replace. They sold me a key fob replacement for my vehicle and when I open it to program it I realize it’s nothing but the plastic shell. Not an actual replacement key fob but just the plastic shell that you need to put the original circuit board inside of. I feel like that should have been mentioned in the 5 minutes we discussed the piece of plastic before buying. So yeah prob not going to be returning to this location. Who knows maybe I’m the idiot who thought that would be a fully programmable key fob. Not just empty plastic case??
My 17 year old son purchased 32 dollars worth of oil there, turns out he didn't need it. Even though his bank account shows a purchase there the manager STACY won't let him get a refund nor exchange without a receipt.... is the company that hard up for money that they would even argue over 32 dollars... cause I will tell you that we are that hard up that we can't afford to lose that money, at least my son can't...what a shame!
Having recently moved to town, I went off the reputation of the other AA stores in towns past. I had an issue with my windsheild wiper fluid hosing and called the store to ask some questions about pricing and such. It was close to closing, but the customer service I received from Daniel on the phone was great! I went to the store to have a closer look taken at the issue, and Daniel exhibited not only the same excellent customer service he provided on the phone, but was quick, precise, knowledgeable and most important of all- friendly. 10/10 experience.
i went in tonight to get some detailing stuff and i noticed this not so nice gentleman that the female at the counter, MAKAYLA, was helping. She was nice and respectful even though she couldn’t help him due to not having his items in stock. His reaction to it was what left an impression on me.
I came on here to leave a review, applauding her of her grace then and after when she helped me check out, just to see a petty negative review from tonight that seems to have too good of timing….
10/10 for AA. Been frequenting since i was old enough to drive. 🤘
So i called this store earlier today to get pricing for a new battery for my daughter. They said they had one in stock for $139 then another for $209 I live in omaha so was not able to handle it myself due to a doctor's appointment. I told my daughter to go there and ask for the $139 one and get it replaced. They charged her $194 plus an additional fee . I guess they can't be trusted to read pricing off of a screen. Really disappointed they would take advantage of a young woman. Would recommend avoiding this place at all cost. Hopefully there're still some honest companies out there.
I have had the rare opportunity to work with this staff, in a B2B capacity as well as a regular customer. Everyone at this location has always had the most professional and helpful tone and have always gone out of their way to meet my auto parts needs. Great job to Mikayla and her staff for always purporting themselves in the highest regards and representing Advance Auto Parts in a way to make corporate proud.
Fast, professional and at a great price! I had a recent issue with trying to install a new battery, and called seeking professional advice. An employee named Kory absolutely went above & beyond in helping me properly install said battery. My sincere "thanks" to Kory and the staff at this location! You have a new, loyal customer!
Went in to get front and back brake pads/shoes, brake cleaner and oil/filter, stood in line for 10 minutes, the line did not progress at all, so I left and went to O’Reilly’s.
Dan is one if the best manager in this store, i really like him, and a couple others. But Makayla and Lucas are just the worst. I spend a lot of money on this particular store and I'm just very disappointed with their service. They need better stuff in the evenings... not wanting to go there when they're there.
Chris and Seth helped me this evening. They were both very friendly and professional. Honestly, pay your people well. I would poach both of these guys for customer service positions. :)
