Amazing people I was on vacation 3 hours from home (on our way home) it was Sunday and they were open and when I called explained what was going on they gave me numbers of mobile mechanics I could try. I called back as those numbers didn't work out so I was just going to tow it and pick it up a different day they told me where to tow it as I didn't know anything in the area and before I towed it the gentelman from the store came and looked at my car to see if he could do anything for me. They went above and beyond in a situation I was trying not to lose my mind in.
Went in to get skidoo snowmobile oil. Their price was 102.00 per gallon. Everyone else is 69.00 per gallon. That’s over 30% more than anywhere else. Will never go back.
I cannot say enough about the staff at Thirlby on US 31 South. They are ALWAYS helpful, polite, and also have great senses of humor, making, for me, what is usually an anxiety inducing experience. (I find any kind of auto problem annoying and especially if my husband sends me to get parts! 🤣) But knowing that they will be knowledgeable, helpful, and HONEST is something that I can always count on.

I don't have any complaints about this business. I've been going here for years and always been treated well. Everyone there has always been helpful and willing to help me out even when I come in with weird situations.
Kylee and Matt were tremendously helpful with my situation the other day. I can’t even explain the gratitude I have for their patience and genuine care. They actually care about helping the customer get the very best outcome possible and that means everything. Kylee looked up various options and was willing to even price match if needed and Matt even carried my rotors out to my vehicle. Btw- they have amazing pricing on rotors!
We put gasoline in our diesel truck and Jason brought us a fuel filter after hours on a Sunday to help us out. We would have been stuck here for another day if he hadn’t done that. He is awesome! Much appreciated!

This place was recommended by a gentleman at the Courtyard by Marriott after my battery died this morning. I am glad he did because they were so helpful and friendly. They installed a new battery in no time and I appreciate how he went above and beyond. I highly recommend you go here. It will be my go to place for sure.
I am happy with all Thirlby locations but the guys at Thirlby south are absolutely great!!!! They have always been extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond the norm. The only place I choose to go.
Always friendly and knowledgeable. They put new windshield wipers on my car when my husband was in the hospital. No grumbling even though it was freezing out. Love them!
Best part store in town, very knowledgeable and always friendly staff at all locations, they also have hard to find parts or can get usually them in a day, all Thirlby stores are great and I wouldn't hesitate to shop there
A little over priced compared to everyone else selling auto parts..... everyone working there are all angry or snappy... disgruntled idk the word but I don't like it and I tried to go to a different store thirlby owns and they all act the same..... life sucks selling car parts huh.... hahaha
Generally a good go-to but not so much this trip. No masks, clerks not really distancing, not enforcing distancing among some customers who weren't, no curbside, had to sign a receipt with a community pen, didn't have all I needed . . . They were happy to help as best they could with the parts I needed but their concern for my health was missing. Impressed but not in a good way this time. I'll go elsewhere next time.
The service here is amazing, to say the least! I went in to buy wiper blades and oil and when I couldn’t get my oil cap off, a young man came out and not only helped me remove it, but fixed it so that I could easily open it next time. Even before that, the cashier offered to install the wiper blades for me. I wasn’t driving the vehicle that needed the wiper blades, but I appreciated that so much! I am a woman who doesn’t know a ton about vehicle maintenance, so it is such a blessing to have that assistance, and not only that, I am never made to feel dumb for my lack of automotive knowledge.
Only had to go here a few times but every time I do I'm surprised. Really friendly and understanding staff. If you ever have questions they'll try and figure it out.
Consistently have the parts I have at a reasonable price! The crew is happy to help me with "repairs" that you probably won't read about in a Haynes manual! I love to keep it local and thrilby has always gone above and beyond my expectations!
Great people work here I swear. My truck ran out of gas out front of their store and they paid for me to get to a gas station. Honest people and great to talk to as well. Store prices are great too. Definitely get my business.
Very knowledgable folk. Their machine shop is well equipped and full of competent workers. They will point you in the right direction to balance price and quality for your wants and needs. Honest people, honest business, couldnt ask for more.
They have quality parts that are comparable in price to RockAuto. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Also the machine shop does amazing work. Forget AutoZone or advanced, this is the place to go.
Thirlby is the best. People in TC don't know how good they have it with these guys. They always have the parts I need and the guys are always super helpful. The machine shop here is second to none. Great guys and great work gets done back there.
Wonderful, I am from out of state. I had a battery connection problem, the young man that help me, came outside, looked at my battery connection, went back inside to get the proper bolts, put them in and would not allow me to pay for his labor. My being stranded was simply a $2.95 fix. thankyou so much
