Don't get stuck behind one of their trucks pulling a mid 2010s black dodge journey between traverse city and mesick Friday Spetember 5 2025 around 5:30 to 6pm on m37. They will drive about 30mph while at least a half mile of cars stack up behind them, almost causing accidents, erratically braking randomly. If you aren't comfortable driving a tow rig at a reasonable speed or letting people pass so as not to disrupt normal traffic perhaps you should find a more fitting occupation for your skills or lack thereof

My friend’s vehicle broke down in town and this company was selected by my insurance. The wait time was not too bad really at all and updates were received during service. Employee “Clare” was both professional and friendly! They seem to be the Go-To in town and will request them again. Thanks for the great service!

Lori has been a blessing as young adults we went without a car for almost a year , we where finally able to work with dhs in getting a vehicle and she made the process so easy and quick , not only does she truly care about your needs but when your stuck and have no one to call ward eaton towing is the place to go to they helped my mom when no one else would I would highly recommend Lori for any vehicle purchase/ towing service ?

My son & I got stranded at Walmart in Traverse City, MI one recent Sunday night when his keys flew off his lantern and into the seat before the door locked. You have to appreciate the high volume of traffic in the area during the summer to know how hectic this could have been for us as the area grows from 95K year-round to over 3 million! We had called a listed towing co. that our State Farm Insurance had given us, but they never picked up the phone, - then called Anytime Towing who answered but were way down State on an emergency run, but they were friendly enough to recommend Eaton Towing so we gave them a call. WOW! super friendly and were there in no time at all. We got a very reasonable price, and Mike got us on our way.

Received our vehicle towed with ward eaton one way . Here are some pics of how we received it once we saw it . .My wife started cleaning the steering wheel and door before I could really show how bad the dirt was .The dealer said they use black nitrile gloves so it couldn’t of been them .The tow guy use the gloves he handled the straps with and never bothered to take them off at all it seems and dealt with the interior with them on. I only gave 2 stars cause they showed up and got the job done.They claim they will report to management to see what can be done.

I was in Traverse City and stopped at the Walmart and came out to find myself with a dead battery. My roadside assistance from Ford sent my request for a jump to Wards. Super fast, very professional and polite. I know who to call if I need anymore help. Highly recommend!

Always there to the rescue. I just had Mike tow my car home. Very courteous. He also gave me potential pointers on how I can fix my car a lot easier and cheaper than what the dealership said

Big props to the owner Chuck for being willing to drive out on a snowy Sunday in his own truck to help us get us out of a ditch when four other towing companies told us “sorry, we can’t get to you until tomorrow”. Gold stars for going the extra mile. Ward Eaton is now saved in my phone contacts for the next emergency.

AAA roadside assistance really dropped the ball and left me stranded for 5 hours. They also told me nobody would tow my truck until the next day, but Ward Eaton called me and told me they were towing my truck for me same night. Big thanks to the driver!

I can only assume they have a good culture of staffing at Ward Eaton Towing. I was searching through my truck trying to scrape together some money for a lunch order I had placed, as I had left my wallet at home. One of your employees was kind enough to pay for the difference in my meal. Thank you!

5 stars is well deserved. I locked my keys in the truck feeling hopeless I called Ward Eaton. An awesome driver named Kipp was on site in 15 minutes and had me back in my truck. I was so grateful I hugged him. Fast, top notch service and a wonderful experience overall.

Car broke down on voice rd. Insurance dispatched Eaton ward. The driver called us 2 hours later to say we needed a tow pin so they left the car and said they couldn’t help us until we had a tow pin. We drove back out to the car and the tow pin was in the trunk…tow driver never checked. Called back to Eaton and said the pin is there. They told us they’d go out and tow the car to the shop. Over 24 hours later we received a call from someone who lives on voice rd to tell us our car was still sitting there. Typically, I don’t write negative reviews, but this is the second time an issue like this has happened with ward Eaton towing. It is unacceptable!

The vehicle broke down and needed a tow. Called AAA and they connected us with Ward Eaton Towing. The driver came quickly and was able to get us to a shop. With all the construction around town, the driver was still able to avoid most of it. When you're in a pinch and you need a tow, I would definitely trust this company.

Mike got to me quick and was very friendly, had my car on the truck in about 5 minutes. I highly recommend using Ward Eaton for your towing needs! Best experience out of all the tows I’ve had from other companies.

I needed a tow to replace a tire. My insurance picked Ward. I had seen them around town but had never used them. The showed up well inside the time frame. They helped me get in and out of their truck as I have difficulty doing it on my own. They did a great job, and I would recommend them any day.

My Insurance got a hold of them and they dispatched right away. The tech (I missed his name) was very nice and got my car towed home and parked for me! I appreciate the above and beyond service!!

Ward Eaton Towing Service provided our family excellent service when we were stranded in a pretty remote area with poor cell phone service. We called every towing company in the area and beyond and majority of them were not willing to take the job. Ward Eaton answered right away and gave us a time frame and estimated price right away. We were very blessed to have Kipp as the tow truck driver. He went above and beyond anything we expected. He was able to take our whole family with our vehicle. He is very professional and kind. He saved us from another cold night of uncertainty, stuck on the side of a highway. I cannot say enough great things about the quality, speed and accuracy of the towing service. They're my new go-to. They helped transport my car a few times to multiple service locations, and even offered to drop me off in lieu of a tow when my car was finished. Always friendly and prompt service, highly recommend. Thank you all for your help!

Wish I could have given this company a zero star at this point. my fiancé’s roadside service dispatched ward Eaton for towing at 7:30 pm and we were told that ETA was 8:30 so we waited with the vehicle. Well apparently they have a 90 min grace period so we waited longer. Well we got tired of waiting so around 10:00 we had my son come pick us up because it was cold in the vehicle. We got home and AAA kept calling ward Eaton and they weren’t picking up so we tried calling same thing.. waited and waited and finally around 12:30 AAA calls and says there was no availability for towing and to call them in the morning and go from there so my fiancé gets up at 7:00 to call AAA and figure out towing. Again ward Eaton was jerking us around so then they told him a different towing company was picking it up ok so this is around 8:30 and then get another phone call around 9:30 saying ward Eaton is picking it up again so it’s now going on 10:00 and vehicle is still yet to get towed. We would highly not recommend this company to anyone at all. Poorly service.

Update: I just purchased a used car from Ward Eaton. I chose Ward Eaton specifically because of how well they've treated me (and friends & family) in the past. My used car buying experience was great! I worked with both Dale and Lorrie and they were kind and helpful. I highly recommend Ward Eaton for towing and for used vehicles. Thanks everyone! Previously: I can't say enough about the great experience I had with Ward Eaton recently. My car's engine siezed on my way home from work. It was a very stressful situation for me and the kindness and professionalism that Ward Eaton showed me that night was amazing. Ward Eaton simply has great customer service.

The company stayed in touch with me and let me know when my driver of help was on his way. When Steve arrived he was thorough and understood the situation and fixed it immediately. Our wait time was very minimal at best. I would highly recommend this towing company and Steve for any towing service for cars or campers or trucks. Thank you very much Steve I really appreciated how you helped two little old women and a teardrop camper.

When my car broke down and I needed to have it towed I called Ward Eaton. I had used their service a few times over the past twenty years and always been satisfied. They arrived promptly even though it was well after dark. They were thorough and careful with my car, and delivered it safely to the repair shop I had chosen. Their price was reasonable. I will definitely call Ward Eaton if I need towing service again.

I've had disappointing experiences with other tow companies here in the last month, so it was refreshing to have a pleasant one with Ward Eaton. Dispatch was friendly and arranged a quick arrival. Lonnie made the whole experience stress-free. I will definitely call again when I need it.

They showed up super fast, even called to verify our location first. We needed a jump start. At first our vehicle was struggling to start, but they kept trying different areas with the cables until it worked. Thanks to the great service, and not giving up after a few tries, our van started. I had a great experience with the people of Ward Eaton. My car broke down at about 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015, and when I called AAA for a tow, they sent Ward Eaton. I had been grocery shopping, so the driver took me home and helped me unload my groceries. As I said, this was a Sunday, so the repair shops I had used previously were closed. The tow driver called their mechanic, Michael, and he drove to the shop to check out my car. Mind you, I had made a commitment to be in Beulah at 6:30 that night and did not think I was going to make it. Well, Michael performed diagnostics on my little SUV, took it for a couple of test runs, and I had my car by about 4:00 that afternoon. I was grateful, not only for the quick turnaround, but also for the very reasonable charge. And I made it to Beulah with time to spare! And my car has been running great ever since! Also, Michael checked in with me a couple of times that afternoon, took time to explain what the problem was, and then called me a few days later to see how my car was running. Can't tell you the last time that happened. How refreshing!
