I’ve been a loyal customer of Burke’s Automotive for a while now, and they continue to impress me with their service. Last week, I had a tire issue that was fixed quickly and efficiently. Shortly after, I came back for an inspection sticker, and today I found out my tire sensors needed new batteries—which they replaced on the spot. Every visit has been seamless, and their professionalism is unmatched. I can’t recommend this business enough!
Brought my car here a few times, had a good couple of experiences before having a few bad ones, and I'll never come back. One time, I had to come twice for a seized caliper that should've been fixed in one go but they replaced the wrong caliper. And the last time I brought my car here to get some work done, I found mucus/spit in my front passenger seat. Absolutely disgusting. I'll never bring any of my cars here, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone.
I came in for an inspection sticker, and that was done quickly and professionally. I then mentioned my other car that just failed an inspection at another garage, and I was unsure whether the rejection was justified, and Burke's offered to check it out for no charge. I bought my car to Burke's the next day and got a courteous evaluation (yes, unfortunately, the repair was necessary).
There was no attempt to upsell or extract some money. Just guys doing the right thing and being there to help out. Many thanks!

The fact their parking area is filled with cars awaiting service and all their service bays are filled is testament to their popularity and the trust given them by drivers. Somehow management has found the right people to work there, imbued those people with Burke's spirit of trustworthiness, courtesy and good humor and genuine respect for their customers. Burke's should be everyone's go-to place. If your car needs while-you-wait service, drop in next door to Bill and Bob's for some great roast beef. Special kudos to young technician Keith.
Wasn't sure if it was the battery or alternator brought it to Burke's, they took me right in and tested both battery and alternator and turned out to be the battery thankfully. Honest guys, made my day much better to say the least. Definitely coming back if I have another issue.
I’ve been using Burke’s for more than twenty years. Always friendly, competent and fairly priced. Very flexible and I’ve always appreciated that they’ll try to fit me in right away for small repairs so I can wait. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommended.

I took my car to the dealer for a repair covered by the warranty. The dealer told me I also needed a full brake job ($1100) and a new ball joint for my front left wheel ($425). I told the dealer to just do the work covered by the warranty. A friend told me to take the the car to Burke Automotive. They did my brakes for $600. They also told me that ball joints were fine and did not need to be replaced. I will definitely use this place again and I will recommend them to my family and friends.
One of Woburns oldest and trusted repair shops. They can cover any repairs you might need. Burke's worked on the first car I bought in 84' and everything else I've owned since. My father used them long before that. Happy Motoring!
Don't go there if you are an animal lover. We fed cats there that were trapped, neutered and released without a problem for years...until he expanded and a detail guy who is a real jerk moved in. He told me feeding the cats was "disgusting" and threatened us,. Burkes took his side in order not to lose a tenant. We left one or two poor cats untrapped because we couldn't access the feeding area. He hung up on one feeder who called to try to reason with him.
I too got overcharged! I felt like they would sabotage my vehicle if they weren't given the go-ahead to work on my car, so I had to agree. I feel like a chump now! But they overcharged my simple job by over $200! Could have gone to the dealership and paid less and left with the peace of mind that they would guarantee their workmanship. Not at Burke's. These people just seem shady. Never got a straight answer or any alternatives to solve my problem. DO NOT USE THEM! Read the Yelp reviews too!
Run from this place! Very dishonest. Got way overcharged for simple maintenance. I looked into thier track record. They are a scam shop, when multiple bad reviews build up they open up under new business names (shell names) to throw people off: The following list is run by these same bunch of crooks. I already called the Massachusetts State Attorney General. Beware of the following (all the same shop): Burke Automotive: Burkes Automotive: Southside Service Center: Burkes Service Station and NAPA Autocare Center.
DO NOT TRUST these rip off artists, they run a very shady business. My elderly mom (78 yrs. old) brought her car to Burke Automotive because her check engine light was on and her regular mechanic was on vacation. They told her that she needed to replace her catalytic converter at a cost of $2,200. The mechanic wanted to start the job right away (he told her “I would not wait”). She called me when she got the news and I told her not to start, but to let my mechanic take look at it. My mechanic said that the catalytic converter was fine! He shook his head and said that the only reason that the check engine light was on was due to a bad gas cap, $40 later the check engine light was off. It is sickening how some people try to take advantage of others out of greed. They almost scammed my mom for over $2,000!!!!!
