Anthony was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. My car was not able to be put in gear, so he came out with the specialty truck and wheel dollys and got my car around a giant snow bank with absolute precision. They are a young company, small but growing. They do great work and will be a relief to you when you are in need.
Great service, I had them tow my car to the dealership so they can replace a couple parts and they took very good care of my car would be happy to use them again.
Top Gear was hired by AAA to tow my vehicle from Stoneham, MA to Atkinson, NH. The dispatcher was kind and professional when I called. The driver was helpful and professional. My vehicle arrived at the designated location quickly. When you’re dealing with a broken down car it’s stressful. You want the solution to go smoothly, and with Top Gear it was smooth.
We popped our tire in Lexington MA, at around 8 pm. Anthony was super friendly on the phone and helped guide us through the most efficient and convenient process for us to handle this situation. He recommended several options for us and ultimately provided the best solution for our situation. Communication was great, service was great, he also provided pictures of the completion and delivery of our vehicle. 10/10 reccomend.
I was broken down in Peabody MA last Friday night, and called AAA. They scheduled another towing service, but 15 minutes before they were to arrive the tow company dispatcher called me and said they could not get to me for at least three hours, maybe more, so they were cancelling. I called AAA back, and they scheduled Top Gear to get me. Anthony from Top Gear called, set a time within an hour, and arrived EARLY- nice surprise! Hooked my car up, towed me back to Salem NH, and I got home safely. Anthony, the driver, was polite, smart, professional, and great to talk with on the ride, turning an awful incident into something that was almost fun!. Should I need a tow in the future, I will definitely ask for Top Gear again, and will use them for my antique cars as well when needed. A great service company; I don't want to need a tow, but if I do I would be pleased to do business with them again!

When my mazdaspeed3 that’s been sitting for a few years needed to get brought to a repair shop in Arlington I searched on Google for top rating towing companies .. it’s my late fathers car so obv wanted it handled with care. I saw top gear towing had all 5 star reviews and were verified google yelp Nextdoor ect..so I called and got a tow scheduled for the next day.. it was such an easy process. A beautiful shiny tow truck pulled up the next day I didn’t even have to be there I left the keys inside. I watched on my house camera’s after I got the notification. Not only did the driver come on time he also looked around the car took pictures and notified me when he was there. Loaded it quickly n efficiently onto the flatbed while one of my neighbors came out to watch. After a quick exchange he was off. A short time later the I got a call from the dispatcher saying the car was successfully dropped off . 5 out of 5 will definitely be using this company in the future !
No other tow company in the area would tow out of state. These guys were quick and responsive, showed up within 20 minutes of calling and towed out of state for a good price. Highly recommend
My experience with Top Gear Towing was above and beyond what I could’ve ever expected. They towed my vehicle 2.5 hours with such ease and care. Not only did they tow my car after it broke down but they made sure upon arrival the vehicle was safely stored. I truly appreciate the service they provided and I couldn’t recommend them more.
My car broke down. AAA sent Top Gear Towing yesterday. I didn't wait long. Anthony from Top Gear called twice to update me on his time frame. He seriously could not have been nicer or more kind. I'm sure, we're all happier when our cars do not need a tow BUT when they do, I highly recommend calling Top Gear.
Last Wednesday I had the best towing experience of my life. My car had started making a scraping noise from the left front wheel well. I thought I could drive it to the dealer, but the scraping noise turned into an incredibly loud squeal. I thought I was damaging my car, so I pulled over and called AAA. They sent Anthony R from Top Gear Towing. Anthony was fantastic. He was warm and friendly, and he repeatedly reassured me that I had done the right thing and had not called him out for something trivial. He took good care of my car, and when I rode back to the dealer with him, I saw that his truck was clean and comfortable. Best of all, when we arrived, Anthony noticed something when he took the harness of my car. A tree nut had wedged itself into the brake! Anthony took the nut out, and the noise was gone! A happy ending, especially since otherwise I would have been carless for a day and a half until the dealer could get to it.
Orlando and the Top Gear Team was very gracious, attentive and patient with me despite my frustrated attitude. They're very professional and brought me and my car back home safe and sound. Thank you!
Anthony from Top Gear picked us up when we called AAA because my car wasn’t accelerating on the highway outside of Boston. Within minutes, I received a phone call asking exactly where I am in order to better serve our situation. My car was picked up within 30 minutes of my initial phone call to AAA and hitched a ride with Anthony back to my auto shop in Lowell. Anthony did a phenomenal job demonstrating care for my vehicle - he learned what the issue was (transmission related) and went out of his way to transport the vehicle with minimal gear rotation. He was timely and professional. I highly recommend.

I had my car towed from Marblehead to Foxboro by Top Gear Towing and the experience couldn’t have been better. The owner/operator picked me up himself and even let me ride along for the trip. We had a great conversation the whole way, and it really gave me a lot of respect for the kind of business he’s building — honest, hardworking, and customer-focused.
