Curt/Kurt, don’t know how to spell his name, was great and helped me out today. I have been going here for years, I always drive old used cars and sometimes need a battery. I swap my old one and they give me a “Econo” refurbished one. They come with a warranty and have always given me no issues. You cannot beat it for the price. 10 years ago they were around $40 and now it’s around $60, still cant beat that deal. 5* always kind people working too
I needed ed a battery for the classic car and they were the only ones that had a 29 NF battery! I called and they had set it aside for me and it was all ready to go and I showed up. Very pleased!
Edit: they ended up fixing the battery and replacing with a brand new one. Car is running perfectly now!
Didn’t install my battery properly. I am out so much money from ubering, buying a battery pack, and calling people to come jump the car. All because they did not tighten the connection on the battery.
After having to jump my battery twice, I took my car down to Intestate to test the battery for free. No surprise that the battery needed to be replaced. One of the employees was able to quickly get me set up with a new quality battery.
I’m glad I found this store. I needed a new car battery so I stopped in and the owner looked up the right one and it works great. And I like the handle the battery comes with.
What a wonderful place! I pulled in when they were ready to close and anyone else would have said come back tomorrow, but they didn’t, much to my surprise. I was taken care of and I appreciated this so much. This is “old school”service and I will a be a loyal customer for now on. Bless this location (Woburn) and the staff.
After my other "plus" battery fizzled immediately after warranty expiration, I bought a new car battery from Interstate. We had Interstate auto batteries before with no worries. Interstate Batteries is now my go to shop! Even Better than ordering online too !!!
Went here as it was a holiday and my normal auto body shop was closed. Looked at other shops but they don’t install and that’s exactly what I needed. Called ahead, gave them my info to check stock, and said they could easily do it. I didn’t want to be with a dead car for a weekend. Everybody was so nice and pleasant here and was able to install and reprogram my car battery. Family owned and local old school business. Great experience and would go to them for any battery needs.
I had trouble starting my minivan and I took it to Interstate to replace the battery, thinking that the battery was the culprit. Bret helped run a test inn the battery and he found that the battery was fine. He noticed that the cable was a little loose and he helped tighten it back. Bret use friendly and helpful and I really appreciate his service. I will definitely go back when I need to replace the battery.
Brett is a great boss who was kind and I least to communicate with. The guy who put my battery in name was Cody and he was also a joy to deal with.
The prices here can’t be beat anywhere and it only took 15 minutes!
I was very impressed with the service that I received from the moment I walked through the door. I was uncertain whether I needed a new car battery but discussing my options with the salesperson, it was clear that it was time to replace my old battery. I was given 3 battery options of varying cost. I figured the higher the cost, the better the battery. The salesperson (wish I'd gotten his name) explained that for my particular vehicle that was not necessarily the best choice. I so appreciated his honesty. Most companies would have been happy to sell the highest cost item without any discussion. This was awesome customer service! They have gained a new customer and I will certainly refer my friends there as well. I left as a very happy customer.
I had a dead battery. I jumped it and drove to Interstate store in Woburn, MA. Salesman listened to my problem and, together, we figured out I needed more CCAs and a longer warranty. He installed it and I was on my way in no time! Great service, great products! Highly recommend Interstate Battery...all 1st class products with COSMETIC blemishes which DO NOT affect the battery/performance. Been using Interstate for YEARS with NO glitches...ever!
Customer service lives on! Danielle was super helpful and let me know that they had the battery I needed, and they even honored my 30 month warranty up until the last month. After a quick test my battery was replaced and I was back on the road rapidly, Thankyou again interstate battery!
Interstate Batteries is THE best place to go for choosing a battery - friendly, knowledgeable staff makes for a great choice of a quality product that fits your needs! I had an old car that I wasn’t going to keep too long, so they suggested a “blemished” battery which is basically a new one which has sat on a shelf awhile or been scratched up. Was a perfect choice - when I needed a battery for a newer car, I got the same thing. Warrantee and all - these guys were great and did not take advantage of the “woman alone who knows nothing about batteries” - I’ll never go anywhere else!
I have been using this company for over 25 years. I wish more people knew about it. They offer new and like new Interstate batteries at discounted rates. All with warrantees and they will even test your charging system and install a new battery for free. Thier used batteries are put through a complete testing routine to make sure they are good and they are fully guaranteed. I have gotten 5+ years out of every used battery I have ever gotten here. They even give you a credit for your old bad battery. Another great family owned and operated company.

I arrived and Brett tested and replaced my vehicle battery within five minutes.

Great staff and great place to grab a battery. Super nice and it was a painless transaction. Showed them the battery I wanted from their website and installed it myself in the parking lot — in and out in ~20 minutes. Thank you guys!! This will be where I return if I need anything battery related.

Went in for a warranty replacement on a battery for my car. The guy who helped me was great and didn't take advantage of a woman alone with her car, as many unscrupulous places tend to. Was in and out quickly, and also the dog is cute. Would recommend!
These guys are great! My battery was dead - I had few choices. I really appreciated that Bret gave me options when he could have given me just his top price knowing that I had to take it. I was in and out in 20 minutes - none of this "we will try and fit you in, call us at back at 5 pm to see if we are done". So different from the "normal" here in MA!
Recently noticed my car was taking a bit more to start this winter than in winters past, so I took my car here.
The test was quick, installation and payment was quick, and I was on my way probably within like 15 min once my car was in the garage. Not that anyone's really itching to get their battery changed on a Saturday morning, but if you find yourself needing to do that, this is the place to go.
The service here is the best. We recently arrived in New Hampshire after a long drive from Florida. The Interstate battery in our vehicle was just a few months old but was not holding a charge. I talked to Brett and explained the problem.. He said stop in and he will test the battery. He immediately replaced the battery with a new one. This kind of customer service is rare these days. Thank you to the fine folks here. Highly recommended.

Unfortunatley I woke up to a dead battery and had to jump start my vehicle.
I chose these guys after reading many reviews and was not disappointed.
Nick went above and beyond the call of duty! After purchasing the appropriate battery I chose to install it myself in the parking lot.
Nick saw that I was having some difficulty removing the old battery due to a hidden bolt. He was quick to assist and lend his time and expertise.
Brett also came to assist, what a great team and experience. These guys are honest and really care.

Not surprising that these guys have a 4.8 rating & NO one or two star ratings from ANYONE - they are fantastic. I needed a battery for my 2001 Benz and the dealership quoted me $453 installed. I questioned the dealership (in a neighboring town) & then the price went down to $356. I called around & I kept being told that I needed a 49H8 battery. I called Interstate & the gentleman who answered the phone was great, patient & not dismissive to me (as some car places are to women who call asking questions). I got a AAA jump & drove there & the sweetest guy, Phillippe greeted me. A really knowledgeable guy named Claude looked at my old battery & compartment size & said the 49H8 was not going to fit. He humored me so I could see for myself that THE DEALERSHIP SUGGESTED THE WRONG SIZE & Phillippe tried putting the dealership recommended battery in there, but it wasn't even close to fitting. We tried the smaller 48H6 that Claude suggested & it fit like a glove. They are great recyclers & Nick, the guy who rang me up, gave me a sweet deal. Not condescending, polite, patient, good-natured, experienced, fast, clean & a great price! They could not have been any better. A+++
