I highly recommend Conrad’s Auto Service. I brought my truck in for spark plugs, an intake manifold, and a rear axle seal, and he finished everything incredibly fast. What really stands out is his generosity and skill. Without me even asking, he welded on a bracket and fixed my rusted tailgate that hadn't worked in years. When I tried to pay him for the extra repairs, he wouldn't take anything! Conrad is honest, fair, and clearly skilled in his trade. Steve had my Kia, I had to have my ENTIRE water pump replaced, oil changed, and brakes replaced! He had it for only one day and I got it back brakes work perfectly, water pump has had ZERO issues and my oil was changed. Not only did he have it back in an extremely quick manner but he had amazing prices!

Got my alternator fixed and back in my hands in no time. With out busting up the A/C lines. Prior to dropping the vehicle off he was able to drive out to check on state of my vehicle at no extra cost. Definitely recommend hard worker looking to get these jobs done with care.

Swore I'd written a review years ago but some how its asking again so ill answer. Conrads Auto is the best mechanic in Terre Haute hands down. If you're looking for an honest mechanic that will shoot straight and tell you what wrong this is the place. We've used him for 3 or 4 years and never had to wait long or worry about down the road. Wow, I thought I left a review for this place ages ago, but here we are again! Anyway, I'm happy to sing their praises again because they're seriously the best mechanics in town. They always do a fantastic job, and I never have to worry about them trying to upsell me on stuff I don't need. Honestly, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. They've earned my trust completely over the years.

He had great communication and kept me updated the whole time definitely would recommend and go to again.

Steve is by far the nicest and most qualified mechanic i have ever met. Over the last 20 years, he has taken care of all my mechanical needs but recently installed a brand new engine in my 2006 F150. Everything went perfectly, didn't take long and came in under budget. Along with the engine he addressed some other concerns without adding to the charges. Upstanding guy with the best ethics and every customer matters...like back in the good old days.

I was able to reach out to Steve earlier this evening about working repairing my taillight. I am college student from out of town, who knows very little about cars. He was able to let me know what all I needed, price and how long it'll take. Steve was able to give me in today and fix the taillight, as well as buff my headlights. He was very helpful, friendly and honest about pricing for future repairs and all his work he's done. I definitely recommend for those in town who may be skeptical about where to go or know little about cars!

I took him a nightmare of a car to work on as no other shop would do the work around here. He was able to get all of it done for an extremely affordable price and in a timely fashion. I was shocked honestly. I went from believing I’d never get to drive my car again, to my car driving better than it ever has.

Came in to get the cv axles changed on my 2014 ford explorer as soon he gets the car he finds a massive brake failure and gets it taken care of for me he is very nice transparent and his prices are not high for the amazing work he does

Awesome service. The dealership quoted $800 for a valve cover gasket replacement we we got quoted $250 here.
It took about 2 hours after I dropped it off to get a phone call to come and pick it up.

Needed some car brake pads replaced and he did it immediately at a great price. Shoutout to him would’ve been screwed without him. God bless

Beyond excellent work. Did a quick simple fix to my truck for 200 bucks that the dealership was gonna charge almost 500 just to look at and diagnose

I reached out to Steve late on a Friday. My 2005 RAV4 needed brakes, rotators and calipers. Steve responded immediately, gave me an excellent price and picked my car up. He had replaced brakes on my husband’s Dodge Ram years ago and his work is excellent. I won’t let anyone else take care of my vehicles.

It was not an easy job but he took my 89 sierra 1500 to the next level. Rebuilt the trans the rearend and Rebuilt the top half of the engine. Tbi to carb he worked with me the whole way. Honest, hardworking and reliable. 10 out of 10 on his work and customer service.

Steve was a life saver! Traveling across the country our water pump and timing chain went out on the weekend and no one was willing to help until Monday. I have a 2010 Roush 427R mustang, well then she swapped one bad engine to a new engine with the supercharger and everything moved over. On my drive around terre haute to I've had no issues and everything has ran fantastic. He offers fantastic service and great prices! Good on communication and very friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone
