Been selling scrap since Omni was Superior . Located downtown Ft Wayne . The place has really gone down hill. Use to be friendly service there. Worker was mad as I made two trips with cans. When I got there 2nd time .. guy got little loud and upset. As I had cans in Kroger bags inside a big bag. He said took to long and he make me go outside and dump them myself ,next time . I wash my cans out with water before I crush them . So not a big mess for the guys . No body as ever said that to me . Just the way he acted kind of made me mad. Plus now can't even see prices they are giving for your stuff. If it wasn't so close I'd go to Metal X . As they are a lot friendlier.
I called ahead on the phone to see if I could scrap the catalytic converter that I replaced on my Jeep. The lady was polite and told me to come out as long as I had proof of ownership, which I do. I got all the way there and they instantly told me no…
Their buyer, Peter, is great to work with. Their prices are good and they've always treated me and my company fairly. I've sold them many loads and haven't had any issues. I highly recommend.

I bought them a 6'x8'x5' trailer full of a metalic mess and they where quick to help.
I don't see the aluminum on my ticket but I was told it was priced to weigh about the same as insulated copper I brought that had other stuff on it.
They reminded me about the battery in the mower gaining me a fair $2 more I had overlooked.
$34 total and I got my yard cleaned up 720lb total.
Important note: they do not take vacuum cleaners.
Nor
will they take the seat of a car without the vehicle it was previously attached to.
They wouldn't take it even for free. LoL
Final thing, they require a state I.D. and they intend to take a picture of you.
Place has went down hill big time always got something new they won't buy from you but they will buy from the next guy price not the same for what I was quoted even though I went through the extra work to prepare the metal how they wanted hope people start using the other smaller yards in fort Wayne and bring this monopoly down
I drove from Huntertown 2 days in a row (12/8-12/9) trying to recycle a tv during your posted work hours. Both times the gate was closed, people behind me waiting.
Ever helpful & u don't have to get out your vehicle, they will grab it all for u & give u your receipt... To receive your money is super easy gobup to a 🏧 looking machine & scan your receipt & out comes your money...
