I'll also add that their hours are terrible. Their website says "ENTRANCE HOURS Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM". I arrived on a Monday at 4:45 and was told the entrance closed around 4:30 if I remember correctly. I told the employee that the website says ENTRANCE hours specifically, but they said those are the business hours. CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE WORDING, PLEASE. On top of that, she pointed to her yard employees who were asking to leave already. It appeared they were just sitting at their cars in the parking lot, still on the clock, but doing nothing. So, the employees just sit around on the clock and whine that they have to stay during their whole shift. Got it. If you value your time, go elsewhere.

Not the most helpful staff. They couldn't really answer any of my questions. Was in the yard browsing. Saw a pickup tailgate panel that I've been wanting but didn't have the tool to disassemble it. Came back the following morning, asking about this particular truck. The woman said it was not yet available, but maybe in the next day or two. Why not just let me take the panel, pay you for it and be on my way?? It would have taken a whole minute to get. I just thought that was kind of ridiculous. Also, for a junkyard, prices are high.

Tried calling Fort Wayne Indiana yard to get part and price. When you call the recording tells you to h go to their website. The website is supposed to have list and price. After putting in all info year, model,type and then part. Comes back nothing in yard? Put in different part same answer. Put in multiple different parts and nothing. Called again this time went to sell vehicle. Lady answered, not the Fort Wayne Yard..told her what I wanted she told me I had to go through website. Told her what I did and what happen. She said to leave yr out just put in chevy truck and look at inventory list. Will that give me parts and prices? She said no just vehicle. So I can't get get list and price of parts for type of vehicle I need.she said no. I live 40min away? Well I must be doing something wrong on the website. Waste of time I'll go to other yards that can afford better web designers or people that can answer phone to help customers.

Terrible prices. Buyer beware! Not only will they stack on the option guarantee fee without you asking. They will also mark parts down wrong and charge you the max price. For exmaple, you pull a part from a car. They will charge you the truck price. Which can be more than 100 dollars. I have receipts for anyone interested. This is how a business dies. Sadly, I watched it happen to other pyp.

Absolutely trash place. Looking for a bumper, quoted 65 bucks for it, go out and get it taken off and after bringing it back it (this bumper had multiple fractures, scratches and cracks) a different girl tells me it's over $215 because I wanted the trim, grill, and the peices thar attach the grill to the bumper. I asked about a discount due to the condition of the bumper, of course not. A BRAND new bumper and grill costs $250 EDIT: For reference, after this I stopped at a small junkyard near my home, they had the same bumper in perfect condition and offered it to me with the grill, connecting parts, and everything for $160 with them taking the thing off! I would recommend LKQ to no-one while the people they had working there are still employed. The price was entirely due to the way thr employee felt like ringing it up.

Bought apart from there a few days ago was not the right one and they wouldn't exchange it because I did not have the guarantee and prices were over price there they wanted a $110 for a bumper that I could get from another yard for 50 bucks and they pull it not very Not very impressed with this choice The only difference in the parts was a couple of inches Would not refund or exchange Have had better luck at the 1 in South Bend

This is a last resort for parts, LKQ has shady business practices, I rather go to any other junk yard than them. They have so many surcharges that by the time it's said and done, you could of bought a brand new part and can return it without paying for a warranty

Staff is not very friendly. Also do not trust their website hours. The admissions close that for at 4:30. The yard closes at 5, but if you get their after for 4:30, you are screwed you cannot go in to get your parts.

LKQ corporate is running this place into the ground. I have no problem with the people there but you can tell corporate is forcing them to charge the new astronomical prices. Maybe their prices make sense in large cities, but not here in Fort Wayne. I'll be going to other junkyards or buying parts online for the same price.

I went to buy auto parts when I got to the counter they said that it was another part that was more expensive than what they had on their website, it bothered me but I had already spent time removing it, they always do the same thing, they charge you more than what it is, and they charge you for the warranty without needing, for example you buy a relay that is large and they charge you for it as an ECU or chassis ECU, and in the end I realized that on eBay it is perhaps the same price with a guarantee and even at the door of your house

It cost more to purchase a combination switch USED... w/90 day warranty, than it is to purchase one brand new with a life time warranty from O'Reilly. Was told... I was quoted one price over the phone for my car after I arrived they told me it'll be $100 less than I was quoted. They said I had an aftermarket catalytic converter. I've had that car for 20 years and that converter came with the car brand new and has never been replaced. I guess they're forklift driver knows more than my mechanic I've had for 30 years

The sales people/counter help were just great at this location, eager to help and understanding when I drove 2+ hours and was going to have to leave empty-handed due to a few stripped bolts. Thru let me pay and then at close a couple of them went out in the yard with me and we got those pieces loose. I'll never forget the great people at this location and how they saved the day!

Great people here. Very helpful and their wheelbarrows actually work. Only thing I don't care for is, you can't bring jacks in. When looking to get a transmission or transfer case a jack would make things a little less back breaking.

EDIT: I returned and was refunded for the mistake. Beware of the older gentleman with glasses! He has overcharged me the last two times I dealt with him! This used to be the premier parts yard in Fort Wayne. NOT ANY MORE. The new pricing is outrageous, and I've been overcharged the last two times I went in. Definitely check the website pricing BEFORE you approach the counter. And the new "warranty" that is pushed on you is bad business. By the way, you can opt out of the warranty if you ask, but they won't tell you that. Good bye and good riddance to what was once a stellar business, until greed took over.

First time coming and it was great the employees was very helpful and patient show me how to navigate around the yard and very friendly . I needed a radiator it wasn't a headache to find they gave me a full list on the receipt I'm going to go to roll in space . And the regular customers were very friendly helpful there's a very good experience and I know if my car ever break down again I know exactly where to come or tell a friend

I am gonna have to rate this pick apart my favorite so far! Have never seen one who tells you which row your car is in when you tell them what your looking for an gives you a wheel barrow to hail off car parts like a shopping cart! Amazing! An I got 2 used tires for 80 bucks can't beat the prices either! Arrive was great I think the Lil lady who waited on me knew each an every area & car in the yard! Truly great place! I would suggest ppl check it out soon if you need cheap parts an don't wanna take hours to find your parts!😀

The staff is extremely nice and friendly I was driving down Moeller Rd. taking my daughter to school and my tire popped in front of the shop I pulled over went inside and asked the guys if they could provide me with a number to roadside assistance. I was not successful at contacting anyone so they changed my tire for free in 13 degree weather! Really great people here! Thank you guys so much!

Got off work and rushed strait over with my tools walked in the door at 4:33 and no more than 2 steps in the door I very rudly am told the yard is closed. Not even by the guys at the desk but a lady just standing by the door . I ask it's only 3 minutes past 4:30 i just need one thing i can be quick and she tells me I should have been there at 4:30 sorry come back another day . Would not recommend this LKQ they have always had bad customer service. Get your parts elsewhere.

Some Good deals to be had. They have raised their prices though. Alot of the parts can be bought online NEW for much less than these used parts. Website also shows that they now charge for a 90 day warranty. Check their parts price list, then check fleabay and Zalmart as well as others. Revised 3-22-22... As of today, Parts prices listed online don't add up. With part+core+warranty. Buyer beware.
